Joint mission

team inpr arrived at the amphitheater followed by team rwby now they are waiting for ozpin to give them instructions of their first mission. then ozpin walk to the stage and started his speech "today we stand together, united. mistral, atlas, vacou, vale the four kingdoms of remnant. on this day nearly eighty years ago, the largest war in recorded history came to an end. it was war of ignorance, of greed and of oppression. a war that was about much more than where borders fell or who traded with whom. but about the very idea of individualism itself. we fought for countless reasons, one of which being the destruction of all forms of arts and self expression. and as you all are well aware that was something many could not stand for. as a result, those who opposed this tyranny, began naming their children after one of the core aspects of art itself."

ozpin paused and look at the students of various kingdoms "color. it was their way to demonstrate the not only would they refuse to tolerate this oppression, but neither the generations to come. and it was a trend that is held to this day very day. we encourage individuality, expressionism and unity. through diversity. as i have said, today we stand together, united. but this bond cannot exist without effort, which is why today while the rest of the world celebrates peace, huntsmen and huntresses will work to uphold it."

after he finished his speech ozpin then began to instruct the students of their mission, as ian and his team walk towards the screen they then choose a mission as ian was about to type their team name ozpin walk towards them "have you chosen a mission?" ozpin ask "yeah, was about to sign our team name in it" ian said ozpin nodded and said "hmm. if you would like i have a mission that i like you to take" ian look at his team they just shrugged "sure, what mission?" ian agreed "follow me"

ozpin said and they followed him and they reach team rwby who is also choosing a mission, ozpin walk towards team rwby and said "well that's one option." the 4 girls look towards ozpin and then noticed team inpr behind him "unfortunately, we determined that the concentration of grimm was too extreme of first year students. it seems that particular region is rather popular. in fact i have the sneaking suspicion that the four of you will make your way there no matter which job you choose."

as ozpin said this yang, blake and weiss glared at ruby because she said their plan to loudly, ian chuckled at hearing this, ruby scratch her head grinning "whatever makes you say that?" ask ruby trying to feign ignorance "because we heard it of a certain red ridinghood" ian said smirking and ruby just stick her tongue at ian.

"im still curious as to how you all found yourselves at the docks last semester. im interested to know how you really learned about a 'hideout' in the southeast. and i certainly wonder why witnesses reported seeing robot and rose petals in a dance club sometime ago." ozpin said emphasizing the word hideout and the 4 of them smiled stiffly then ruby suddenly yelled and pointed at ian "he was also there".

"i doubt i'll ever find the exact answers im looking for." ozpin ignoring ruby outburst he continued "so, how about this. instead of waiting for you all to break the rules, why dont we bend them?" he typed at his tablet scroll and they saw 2 teams registered, team rwby and team inpr "the 8 of you will go to a joint mission together" ozpin said to them.

they all look at each other clearly happy at this joint mission "we wont let you down. thank you professor" ruby thanked ozpin "do not thank me for this. team work and persistence have carried you far, but you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the kingdom will not care. stay close to your huntsman at all times. and do exactly as he says. he will be leading you on this mission. and he can have you sent back to beacon, if he finds your skills to be unsatisfactory. good luck" then he walk away.

they all looked worried, ian seeing this he then clap his hands getting their attention "what's with that faces? we all trained for this, you dont have to worry. come im going to show you something" ian said to them then they followed him at the back of the wall. then ian took out his storage scroll he unfold it and sent a little chakra a poff went out and 2 items were revealed.

a yellow gauntlets and and a black bracelet. ian took them and gave yang the gauntlets and the bracelet to blake "yang this is for you. this babies can be fused with your current gauntlets and upgraded it try it on" ian said to yang who put it on as the gauntlets it cause a clicking and buzzing sound then few seconds it settled.

"its a little bit bulky in base form but it doesn't weight that much. it has three stages that base form, a mid form and the large form. every form increases the strength of your punch but it also causes it to add some weight but i know with your semblance it wont be a problem. and oh instead of one barrel it has now 2 so it causes more impact" explained ian and he could see that yang really loves it.

"as for you blake this bracelet hold a very very long ribbon that can be attach to your weapon for you to use easily. though it looks simple its very convenient if you want to reach a high building or to catch some nevermore. it has a strong motor drive in it so you could pull anything towards you or to pull yourself, its very durable and resilient." blake wore the bracelet and nodded hapilly to ian.

weiss and ruby both look at yang and blake enviously then they look at ian with expectations. seeing the 2 look at him he chuckled "sorry for you 2 but i havent completed your weapon upgrades because it is quiet complicated. i even haven't completed pyrrha weapon and shield to both nora and ren weapons i already upgraded long ago" ian explained and the 2 look depressed.

"dont worry you'll love it when its done i promise you that and you all will surely love what im going to add at it" i assured both girls they just nodded and look satisfied. "we should go now, the hunstman that are going to escort us must be waiting." pyrrha said reminding them. "right team rwby and team inpr first joint mission.. lets gooo!" ruby yelled raising her fist and we cheered.
