chapter 7

Now me and phyrra are zooming this forest trying to escape this big black scorpion, how could i forget about this thing? the clues are aready at the entrance of the cave with those drawings of stickman figures fighting a big scorpion. ughh! so embarrassing.

a few minutes ago we got ambushed by 6 wolf grimms and 2 ursas, we manage to slay them all and a few mins walking we found the cave. we entered it though we realised somethings wrong here and thats what happened to us now.

though its not bad to bring this scorpion to us because it could help us tested our team work later on when we find the others, "phyrra dodge!" i shouted at my partner, "this guy even though its big buts its fast, phyrra come here" she gets closed to me, without saying anything i pick her uo in princess carry style. "wha...what?" phyrra was flustered and blushed by my actions, "i run fast and dont worry your not heavy" i ran fast but not to fast so the grimm wont lost us can still catch up.

a few mins later we found the ruins and blake, yang, nora and ren are there already. "look the relics!" phyrra pointing at it, "look a falling ruby!" i also said to her when i saw ruby. "phyrra catch her" not waiting for her response i threw her to ruby, she manage to catch her landing on a tree, "thank you" ruby thanked phyrra. "your welcome, its our duty to help our fellow comrads im phyrra nikos" phyrra introduce herself. "and im ruby rose, uhh! did we forgot something?" both look at each other, "IAN!" they both yelled.

i jump dodging the scorpion grimm tail and threw a smoke bomb on its face, i then landed infront of my classmates minus weiss. "ian are you alright?" phyrra asked me. "of course it takes alot of that to kill me" i said her puffing my chest, phyrra just giggled. "uhh! guys someones falling again" blake told us looking up, we look up to just to see a falling ice princess. "phyrra i need a lift" phyrra nodded and prepared her shield. i step on it and she toss me up enough for me to reach weiss, "i know this isnt the right season for a snow to fall" i smirk at her. she blushed at first as our face were close to each other but hearing what i said she glared at me with annoyance.

i manage to land safely and weiss jump out of my arms, "in my head there should be a 'thank you for saving me' " i smirk at her. "hmph! i can manage myself without your help!" she retorted at me while looking away, "sure sure whatever you say princess" i responded still smirking at her. "great the gangs all here now we can die together" yang said jokingly.

"not if i can help it, yaaaahhh!" said ruby charging at the scorpion grimm. she reach the grimm she tried to slash using her scyth but the grimm skull deflected it, ruby seeing this she failed she started to run towards us again. the bird grimm i think its called a nevermore? fore its feathers hit ruby red cloak trapping her.

yang seeing her sister was about to be killed by the scorpion grimm was about to charge and save her but me and weiss move faster than her. "stop the scorpion i'll handle the big black birdy.... wait came out wrong. anyway just go" weiss just nodded with weird face, she stop the scorpion tail reaching ruby using an ice wall. while i transformed my gun and fired the grimm bird that was about to dive. "you are so childish"

"weiss?" ruby asked, "and dimwitted and hyperactive and dont even get me started at your fighting style. and i supposed i can be a bit difficult but if were going to do this were going to have to do this together. so you quit trying to show off i'll be... nicer" she scolded ruby first but said the last sentence softly. "im not trying to show off, i want you to know i can do this" ruby said looking down. "your fine" weiss responded, "well as much as i like you too smooth things up between you 2 we need to get going" i told them and the 3 us reach our future teammates.

"that flying grimm going to come back" i told them. "we dont need to delly dallying, our objectives are the artifacts" weiss said "weiss is right we just need to grab the artifacts and go back to the cliffs" she nodded at weiss, then me and ruby pick a chess piece i pick a rook since i know nora took the same thing and ruby pick up the knight just like the show. we then made our way to the cliff, the flying grimm flew over us and landed on a pillar across the bridge. we hid to the broken walls just then the scorpion manage catch up to us and his really pissed.

"run!" i shouted at them while shooting the flying grimm to distract it. we manage to reach the bridge but the flying grimm dive down crashing the bridge. ren phyrra and blake at the other side fighting the scorpion grimm but their not doing well. "hey can you handle that flying grimm? i'll send blake to you to assist you" they nodded "nora lets go" then me nora jumped to the other side and smash her hammer towards the grimm but get hit by its claws. she flew out hitting blake before blake fall off the bridge i caught her hand. "hey i'll send you to the other side you help them we can handle this" blake nodded and i tossed her towards ruby and the others.

"alrighy guys lets kill this grimm ren go for its tail nora wait for my signal, lets go" they nodded and we charge towards the grimm, it raised its right claw and slam it down phyrra stopped it using her shield. then it used its other claw i change my gunsword in sword form and deflected it, ren manage to reach its tail and injured it but get flung away. seeing its tail hook dangling "phyrra!" i shouted at her "got it" she then toss her shield and sliced its tail piercing the grimm head "nora nail" i ordered nora "heads up" shouted nora then ran towards phyrra who prepared her shield then toss nora up and then she smashed her hammer towards the grimm tail hook killing it. destroying the bridge and we flung alongside it finishing it with a superhero landing style..... again....

super cool i can even imagine the background music in it. though i really didnt get to much action anyway except for commanding the team and me and phyrra killing those other grimms awhile ago. meh its not so bad, we got up turned around just to see ruby beheading the flying grimm.

"wow! impressive" i said and then we made our way towards the others. just as we were about to join the future team rwby the bridge shook slightly the a big shadow covered us. we turned around just to see a big snake from what i remembered this one called king taijitu? never remembered this one showing up in the show. "if this is part of the initiation then this is extreme. i said to my teammates who's frozen in shock seeing this grimm. "NORA! REN! get phyrra out of here i'll handle this snake, i didnt manage to use my abilities anyway so this guy will help me" i said to them smirking while looking at the snake. "what? NO! we should escape together" phyrra protested, "dont worry ian can handle himself we should go" ren said to phyrra "yeah! ian is super strong! he can handle it" nora reassured phyrra.

but she's not convince she was about to protest again but stopped because what infront of her amazed her, because ian is covered in red aura thing in with a big pointy ears on its head and 2tails waving on his back. thats right even thought he doesnt have kyubi but he's semblance is just like a jinchuriki tailed beast mode. it enhancess his speed reaction strenght and defense depending on how many tails he uses.

ian clear blue eyes change into a glowing yellow eyed fox staring at the snake grimm. "trust me phyrra i can handle this" ian said to phyrra without turning around. gripping his gunsword he shrouded it with also his semblance in just a moment he suddenly vanish what replace his position is a kunai with an engraving in its handle.

if any naruto fans can see this they will be able to recognize this as 4th hokage signature knife when using his flying thunder god jutsu. ian arrived at the right side of the snake and swing his sword at the grimm head injuring it.

ROAARR! it roar in pain when it was about to retaliate, ian threw another kunai and vanished arriving at the grimm left side now his gunsword in gun form firing 3shots at its head injuring it further. ian then returned to the bridge. "what are you guys still doing here? GO!" he shouted at his teammates. snapping out of it they nodded and jump to the other side with the team rwby.

"is he going to be alright?" ask ruby worry on her face looking at ian, "yes i've known ian since childhood and i know how strong he is when using his semblance" ren answered ruby calmly. "so what is his semblance?" yang asked, "its called FOXY!" when ren was about to answer tailed beast cloak nora beat him to it and he just sighted while shaking his head at his childhood friend antics.

back to ian he manage to put many injuries to the snake grimm while the grimm cant even manage to touch him. "well i thank you for this opportunity you given me to show off some of my skills but i gotta end this now" the grim hearing his mocking words roared in anger and dive down trying to bite him. but the grimm missed again and ian reappered behind the sanke grimm with a swirling ball of blue looking energy at his left hand. "rasengan!" he slammed down his hand at the head of the grimm and finaly killing it.

he jump and landed infront of his team and team rwby of course hero landing style again. "this will be the first and last i'll shout my skill name" ian murmur it himself. "that was awesome" ruby look at me with stars in her eyes "are you okay ian?" phyrra asked me "hmph so you got some skills afterall" weiss said that to me while crossinf her arms "wow! that was cool fox boy, and the way you landed after you killed that grimm is foxy. eh! eh! got it? foxy? because his semblance resembles a fox" yang said with a bad pun. i just laugh at it while others groan hearing her pun.
