chapter 3

Its been hours since the kuroyuri village massacre i learned the name of this village from ren, his still hugging nora who is sleeping right now well he doesnt have a choice since nora hugging him tightly. we waited till she wake up before going out since this place isnt safe.

i told ren to sleep while i guard but he decline saying he can manage. though he looks tired but i didnt bother asking him agaim too lazy to do that. after an hour ren fell asleep since the attacked happened at night. i just meditated while waiting for them to wake up.

morning came both of them started to wake up. nora woke up first seeing that she fell asleep while hugging ren she quickly apologize.

no its okay, ren replaid while smiling nora blushed and look down. looks like she's not that bubbly when she's a child. seeing that she's wide awake already i told them we should go.

standing up both of them look at me. we should go and pick up things that we could use before we leave this village we dont know if those grimms we go back here.

by just imagining those grimms coming back here they quickly stood up since ren and nora is from this village they know where to find some clothes, food, and weapons. specially clothes for me because what im wearing litterary a rags since this the only clothes i've been wearing this past weeks i've stayed in the forest a white shirt and black shorts.

after changing clothes ren still wearing his chinese style outfit nora in same of ren but for girls outfit i think this clothes called qi pao? i dont really know. as for me i change for black pants fit for my size black shirt and black jacket with hood. we pic up some bags since my old makeshift bag are not suitable to carry many things. we put some additional clothes food and water. ren still has his father knife but he put it in the back since i gave him 2 additional combat knife i found in weapon store.

nora is clutching a wooden hammer that ren gave her but i pick up a steel hammer but i didnt give to her for now. as for me i have 7 knife 1 my own kunai and 6 combat knife since additional weapon is still better. each of us done packing up i plan to go to vale city but from what i remembered in the series it shoud be far from here. and theres no information of what happened to both ren and nora after their village got destroyed.

its dangerous to travel since were just kids but with ren semblance we can mask our presence from grimms. i then heard ren asking a question. snapping out of my thought i turned towards ren.

where do we go? ren asked. we should go to vale city we will be safe there. i replaid, but grimms are out there its dangerous, nora added i nodded to her and said. yes i know but with ren we can hide from grimms and i can protect both of you.

ren look surprised, me? how can i help? he asked. its because of your semblance it can hide negative emotions and they wont be able to detect us. you should know about semblance right? i asked him.

he nodded yes just a little be mom told me about it. by just mentioning his mom he look down and clenched his fit. but he recovered quickly, i notice this i was a little surprised but thinking of his semblance it might be the reason. while nora didnt really understand what we where talking about.

what are two talking about? whats semblance? she asked. semblance is a abilities that we have just like ren he awaken his semblance and that is masking negative emotions. there are also aura but i'll explain it later when were out of here. we should go before it gets dark. both of them nodded then we started to walk leaving the destroyed village.

its been hours since we walked, no were resting under the tree. hey ian, hmm? i turned to ren, he's hesitating a bit still asked whats its on his mind. can teach to kill grim? i raised my eyebrow (the rock style eyebrow raised) sure. i answered him. he looks happy.

umm! me too please teach me. turned to nora and also agree. but before i teach you how to kill grimms you need to learn how to awaken and control your semblance and also aura. i dont know much about aura but aura help us strenghten our attacks and defense thats what i know. its already inside us you just need to learn to control it. it will manifest as you get older so does your semblance. ren circumstances is a bit special. you awaken your semblance because of extreme stress and being subjected to life and death situation.

will i have a semblance too? nora asked while raising her hand. looks like it wont be long till we see the bubbly nora queen of the castle. i smiled and replaid. yes you will as you train, you dont have to worry as i will help both of you. ren nodded and nora smiled.

ren then asked, so ian whats your semblance? i was surprised by this question. i still dont know about my semblance because i havent awakened it but im bot in a hurry. ren and nora looks surprised by my answer.

but your strong and you killed the grimm chasing us easily. you were like this then you rolled then the grimm died. said nora while imitating my moves badly, i chuckled and said. even though i dont have a semblance i can still fight because of aura and i trained in the forest.

in the forest? ren asked, i nodded. im an orphan they look sad they walk to me and both of them hug me. i was surprised by their actions but i felt warm i smiled and patted their back. we three looked each other and laughed. i can still see pain in there eyes but i saw a strong determination too.

we agreed to stay here since it getting dark, we ate quickly and i told them to sleep and stay up to guard. they protested first but then agreed as im the only one can fight grimms for now. when i made sure their sleeping i summoned a shadow clones and order them to be look out. while i rest and meditate since i can sleep this way too.

i still didnt mention chakra since its to early they wont undertand, i'll help them get stronger and having them as friends aint that bad. smiled a little. god did give me a second chance and i wont waste it. i look up towards the moon. then i closed my eyes.
