62 The Test and another dance!

Rias quickly escaped the erotic sounds coming from the house, flustered. She was going to ask Neo a few questions and grab her things for the test. She didn't want to disturb them but most of all, she couldn't really deal with the images that came as a consequence of those noises. As she got to class right on time, she sat next to Akeno. They all received their tests and saw Blackstar pinned to the blackboard as a consequence of trying to sneak into Stein's house to cheat on the test.

The test began and the ORC saw how utterly bizarre their fellow students were. Patty was making a very intricate origami of a giraffe while Liz was hyper fixated on Ox's stray hair on the top of his head. Kid was trying to write his name perfectly and Soul was desperately trying to find a way to cheat. The only normal ones were Maka, Tsubaki and the ORC... kinda. Crona and Gasper were being stared at by numerous people who were confused about their gender, Koneko was eating animal crackers Neo got for her and Akeno was smiling at the state Blackstar was in.

Rias and Kiba would normally be the only normal ones, along with Maka but Rias had dazed off more than once. It happened enough times to make Akeno notice. Worried about her King and friend, she nudged Rias' arm and whispered to her.

"Rias? What's wrong? We're having a test you know? It's easy.. I think Japanese schools are far more merciless than the DWMA, don't you think?" Akeno finished with a titter.

"Oh.. yeah, sorry. My mind is a bit occupied at the moment is all" Rias assured her, trying to hide the redness in her face.

"Huhu.. Let's talk about it afterwards then" Akeno gave her a teasing, eye shut smile and went on with her test.

The test concluded within the hour, though with a weird 'bang'. Patty snapped the neck of her origami giraffe like solid snake, Liz plucked the one hair on Ox's head, Kid collapsed on the floor because he accidentally tore his paper trying to erase a small mistake in writing his name, Soul despaired as he was too busy trying to cheat to actually write anything on the paper, Gasper and Crona had hid themselves below their desks due to getting so many looks and Akeno finally couldn't contain her sadistic laughter aimed at Blackstar, Soul, Ox and Kid.

Once Akeno and Rias finished up, they met on the nearest balcony in the DWMA school grounds. It was after classes now and Rias could finally talk to her friend about the constant images in her head that have been bugging her since she heard Neo and Raven earlier. Hanging her head low, she sighed and heard Akeno giggle.

"You seem so amused at my troubles, you sadist.." Rias lightly chided.

"Well I wouldn't be me if I didn't take a little enjoyment at watching you squirm. Something tells me it's a cute concern as well, Prez" Akeno smiled at Rias' slight pout.

"Cute..? Uggh.. I'm just confused about a few things is all. Can girls really.. um.. get together?" Rias asked, keeping her eyes everywhere but on her friend.

"Ara ara.. It wasn't that common in our school but yes, certainly. Why? You know Neo is together with Raven, other Neo, Pyrrha and they do mention another one, a catgirl like Koneko I believe?" Akeno listed off to herself.

"Right and maybe Arturia.. She's truly not lacking in beautiful girls.." Rias mumbled to herself in an emotion she couldn't identify.

"Oho.. So, what are you asking? You know they are all interested in Neo herself. What don't you understand?" Akeno probed her King for an answer.

"U-Um.. well I-I sort of.. heard Neo... doing something with Raven..?" Rias' face flushed again as several images she deemed inappropriate flashed through her mind.

"Oh you can't be that innocent, Rias.. You know what they were doing" Akeno watched Rias fidget in amusement.

"I-I mean.. how!? We got sex ed when we were ten. She lacks the.. 'tools' to do that, right?" Rias looked away and tried to preserve whatever composure she had left.

"Oh don't you play dumb with me.. I've seen your diary" Akeno sinisterly chuckled as Rias froze and looked at her with a paling complexion.

"No.. you didn't.." Rias hoped.

"Title.. 'Pinning me down aggressively~ Neo had suddenly pinned me down in nothing but her sexy cat pajamas and sealed my lips with a kiss.. More! I cried out in my head-'" Akeno was interrupted when Rias collapsed to her knees.

"NOOOOOO!! Why would you read that!?" Rias looked up and asked with a pitiful expression.

"Because you're so much fun to tease.. ever since she sat on your lap in the ORC room you've had this subtle change. It's not noticeable to the others but I can see" Akeno leaned down to her King and covered her mouth while chuckling.

"Wh-What!? I didn't change.. did I..?" Rias wondered herself, not having even noticed a change in herself.

"Well, you were busy with the whole perverted trio thing.. then the Fallen in the church dying.. then Riser.. then.. whatever that huge fight was. So you've only truly returned to stability recently, when we grabbed on to Neo. You don't even notice how you often ask for her help? Even with subjects you clearly know? You've also found a fellow otaku in her as well, something none of us can really relate to you on. But aside from that, you... Really? You don't notice yourself blatantly checking her out? You also get noticeably happier when she praises your hair and strokes it. I think it's pretty clear you think she's hot" Akeno finished with a quick laugh at seeing Rias' expression change.

"I.. damn it, she is hot.." Rias sighed in defeat as she admitted it.

"The other Neo too?" Akeno asked, watching her expression slightly change.

"Y..es but I sort of feel like.. Neo is more masculine..? Like she was a guy underneath it all. Being as crude as she is" Rias nodded to herself as she made her point.

"Now that you say it, she does feel more like a man. She's blunt, rude, swears a lot but.. she expresses herself a lot, is protective, kind of greedy.. Yes, I suppose I can see why they like her" Akeno admitted.

"Do.. you-" Rias asked, seeing her friend shake her head.

"I have no true attraction to anybody at the moment. Maybe somewhere out in other worlds is the perfect person for me but we'll see" Akeno leisurely stretched herself and leaned her back on the rail, looking at Rias.

"I know this hasn't developed further than attraction but if you do end up liking her, just know you'll be involved in quite a bit of her issues in the future. Also the harem, too. I know you don't like sharing but there's no way she'd leave them for you alone. Not that you aren't good enough. She just loves them, a lot" Akeno finished and watched as Rias' expression went from difficult, to determined.

"I'm going to invite her to the dance!" Rias determinedly stated and started to walk back inside with Akeno in tow.

"Ara.. how bold.. Just like Diary entry number thirty seven 'Neo catches me in the shower'" Akeno teased, making the redhead blush again.

"I'll find out my feelings at the dance and-QUIT READING MY DIARY!!" Rias yelled, to Akeno's amusement.

-Back at Blair's-

Their 'exercise' lasted half a day. Until mere minutes before Pyrrha, Arturia and Neopolitan's return. Neo had a satisfied look on her face as she put Emiya's cooking skill to use. Raven was sprawled out on the couch, completely worn out with a look of deep satisfaction written on her face that Pyrrha and Neopolitan envied.

"I guess your time at home was.. productive.." Pyrrha chimed in while staring at Raven's contented face.

"Her stamina skill.. was truly useful. And she improved her technique as we went on.." Raven said with a lazy and tired tone.

"Ah you fought amongst yourselves then?" Arturia asked, watching Neo's back with approval.

"Yeah it was an epic battle.. Damn near put her to sleep" Neo sent a sultry look back at them with a small grin.

Neopolitan gave her a smirk of approval and gave her a thumbs up while Pyrrha slowly gulped. Arturia was none the wiser about what she meant and had pictured a grand duel between Raven and Neo.

"So, how was your training?" Neo asked, setting the table.

At that, Neopolitan made an exasperated face and shared a look with Neo, who slowly nodded while raising a brow at the gestures Neopolitan was using. She looked at Arturia, then at Pyrrha as Neopolitan's gestures became more frantic.

"You should know Arturia's strong as fuck though.. She's my faithful spear partner that easily blew a hole through a damn mountain. Pyrrha's... No, her Noble Phantasm is bullshit. She has twelve lives and she can only be damaged by high tier weapons and other means of attack. Plus she gains IMMUNITY to the thing that killed her. Say if she was killed by Yamato, she'd get immunity from it after the first death. It's absurd. You're also damn strong too but Pyrrha is practically immortal. Which is good!" Neo assured the Spartan, who looked more embarrassed by the moment.

"Yes they are certainly strong enough to remain by Master's side" Arturia agreed, making Neopolitan smile and pat her shoulder.

At that moment, Rias came in. The ORC had moved into their own rooms in the DWMA but still visited at Blair's house, where Neo resided with everyone else. Blair stopped by her house still, since it was hers and she liked everyone. Though she mainly lived with Soul and Maka just for entertainment.

"Oh, hey Rias. Come for more food? Questions?" Neo set dinner down and everyone took a seat after Arturia quickly sat down, immediately eating the food mountain Neo left for her specifically.

"Food sounds great but I do have a question for you" Rias calmed herself and asked while seeing Neo in an apron, filing that image away in her head for later.

"Shoot. Grab a seat" Neo offered a seat to her and sat down herself after handing Rias a plate.

"Right.. um.. The dance is coming up soon. Can you be my da...-nce partner?" Rias felt the other women's looks on her the moment she mentioned the dance.

Neopolitan had a very knowing and teasing grin while Pyrrha made an expression of understanding and lightly scratched her cheek. Raven simply snored, having finally fallen asleep after her intensive 'workout'. Arturia seemed to catch on and nodded to herself, as if she was praising Rias for something.

Neo looked at Pyrrha, Neopolitan, Arturia and stopped, snickering at Raven having passed out. They didn't seem to have any objections, as far as Neo could see. Looking back to Rias, she saw the redhead look down at her own fingers like they were the most interesting thing in the world. She was incredibly nervous, likely never having any experience in this and was fearing she'd reject her. It was something Neo empathized with, being that in her last life she used to be an introvert and whenever she found a crush or someone she was attracted to, she would do something like this.

Lightly laughing, Neo put her hand on Rias' crimson hair and lightly tussled it with an understanding smile. Rias looked up and saw her, prompting her face to flush again, though she tried to stop it.

"I'd like that. I can show you my legendary dance moves I learned from Bully Maguire himself" Neo said, seeing the confusion in Rias' eyes.

"Oh will you sing again?" Pyrrha asked, lighting up with joy and prompting the others to do the same.

Everyone aside from Raven looked at her pleadingly.

"Maybe.. I'll think about it" Neo shrugged, though inwardly was very happy they all wanted her to sing for them.
