Chapter 53: A Devil's lie

After Scarlet had took care of Galand and left Escanor's tavern, she went back to where the rest of the Commandments were still at she had thought of a clever lie to tell them.

"Hmm, she's back." Monspeet said as he didn't see Galand anywhere. "Where's Galand? Did you two kill Escanor?"

Scarlet landed as she shook her head. "No, Escanor proved to be too strong for us. He killed Galand, I was able to escape before he could attack me." She looked over at the other Commandments. "But The Lion Sin of Pride told me that he will warn the other Sins about us, and they will not come to terms of being killed by us."

"Damn it." Derieri said as she clinched her fist. "Does this mean you're the new member then taking his place?"

Scarlet smirks. "I would be honored to take Galand's place among the ranks of the Commandments." Scarlet's plan was falling into place, all she needed now was a big opened bit to have the Grimm waste be in and then Grimm will be born from it. "Of course I would need something in return."

"What do you mean?" Derieri asked looking at her. "What could you possibly want in return?"

Since they were near a giant gaping hole in the ground where a kingdom us to sit, Scarlet looked down at the deep dark void. "This, I need to do something within this hole."

Gloxinia the ex fairy king crossed his arms as he scoffed. "What could you possibly want with this? It'll be pointless."

The Grimm girl looked at him as she laughed. "Oh please, you wouldn't understand right away pixie dust, what I'm going to do is going to take time."

"Fine, you can have this deep hole. But once you're down there, there's no coming back out. It's very deep." Zeldris said as he looked at the others. "Gloxinia, you and Drole go after The sin of Envy and the sin of Sloth."

"Hmph, fine by me." Drole said. "I think it'll be fun to meet this giant. Same could be said for the new fairy king."

Gloxinia wasn't to thrilled about meeting the new fairy king, he was going to dethrone King to show how much of a false fairy king he is. "Question for you." He turned to look at Scarlet. "You said you fought Sins before, that are different from these. What were the Envy and Sloth like you fought?"

"Envy? Well he was rather interesting in a way... Didn't take long for me to kill him, he even had a monster form. As for Sloth, he was a big muscular guy who was also fast on his feet. However, his speech wasn't too good, I killed him as well." Scarlet said as she crossed her arms.

"Hmm, well the Envy here is a giant girl.." Monspeet said. "I'm curious on what other differences there are between our Sins and the ones you fought."

Scarlet had jumped down into the dark void pit as she glides down into the massive hole, once she was down at the bottom. She glanced up unable to see any light from the surface, she didn't care however as it wasn't needed for her next step in her plan.

Zeldris looked down as he had a sinking feeling in his gut as he looked over at Derieri and Monspeet. "You two, I want you both to go spy on the new member." He turned around as he walked away from the edge. "I don't fully trust her.... Something's telling me she's got plans of her own."

"You're not the only one." Monspeet said as he jumps down. "Come on Derieri."

Derieri didn't say much as she jumps down as well, what they didn't know as the very bottom of the pit, a small Grimm pool was formed slowly filling up the pit. Scarlet was flying over it as she grins watching the Grimm form, one flew straight out of the Grimm waste as it was a Gryphon, it shrikes and growls as it flew up past Scarlet.

"Ah yes, it's like watching children be born." Scarlet said as she snickered she could smell Derieri and Monspeet coming for her as she glares up. "Ara Ara, looks like I have company, well I know just exactly how to deal with them." She snapped her fingers as she grins. "It's time to wake up from your slumber.. Blind Worm."

The Gryphon flew past the two commandments and out of the whole, they noticed the Grimm as they were puzzled and confused. Then the entire area shook as the rock wall behind them busted open as a giant Grimm worm came busting out from it and roared loudly. It's fang like pincers tried to snap at the two.

"What the hell is that?" Monspeet asked as he moved out of the way. "Some sort of monster?"

The Grimm worm buries itself back into the ground as it could be seen moving through the ground as Derieri watched it. "It's tracking us."

"We need to hurry and get down there before it comes back." Monspeet said.

Scarlet cackled as she watched the Blind Worm move through the rocky walls trying to get the two commandments as more Grimm rose out from the Grimm waste, Beowuvles climbed up the rocky walls as the snarled and howl. "Yes.... Yes! Rise up and destroy!"

Grimm poured out from the dark pit as there was no traces of Monspeet or Derieri, the Blind Worm rose up from the surface as it towered over the other commandments.

"What the hell?" Estarossa asked. "What is that thing?"

Zeldris clinched his fist. "What ever it is, it's not going to get in our way of our goal!"

Scarlet flew out of the pit as she grinned widely looking at what commandments were left. "These are my brothers and sisters, Grimm... Creatures of darkness, if you're curious about where Monspeet and Derieri are. Let's just say their time in this world has come to an end..."

"What? You were just using us!?" Melascula asked as she looked at her. "That's a dirty trick! We'll make you pay!"

Scarlet held her arms out by her sides as she had a sinister grin on her face. "By all means, come at me... You'll all die in the end. If it's not by me or my siblings, it will be by the Sins.." She laughed as her Grimm eyes glowed blood red. "I must complete my own goal, and you won't stop me."

"We'll see about that you traitor!" Zeldris barked. "Get her! I want her head!"

Grayroad and Melascula went to strike at Scarlet first, but a Beowulf jumped up from below Melasula and grabbed her foot with it's mouth, it's sharp fangs dug into her foot. She yelled in pain as the Grimm dragged her down to the other Grimm. Grayroad was the next to be erased from existence as a horde of Ravager's tear her apart while one that wasn't not too big or not too small belched out fire from it's mouth causing the demon to burn while being torn to shreds.

"It seems your comrades aren't any match for my siblings... Yet you chose to sit on the side lines Zeldris." Scarlet spoke as she looked at him. "Don't get me started on Barney the Dinosaur over there." She glared at Fraudrin as his shadow stretched out as hands and Grimm hands reached up and pulled him down. "I won't even spare your life."

"W-What?" Fraudrin asked. "I'm being pulled in by something!"

Scarlet licked her lips. "You'll be added nicely to my collection." She glances at Zeldris and Estarossa. "And two left, oh how wonderful. A fateful ending to the commandments by the hands of a Grimm!"
