Chapter 1: G.U.N

The time rift opened up, as Nightmare and Scarlet fell through. The city didn't look like anything they've seen before, but there was the faintest sound of gun fire below them.

"We're going to hit pretty hard." Kurumi said. "I don't think I have much time to create any clones of myself."

Scarlet glanced around as she pointed to a dark alley way. "Or we could use the shadows, so we would be road kill."

Kurumi would nod her head a bit as she used her dress to glide her and Scarlet towards the alley. Eventually getting swallowed by the shadows, then reappearing by some trees.

"That could've gone worse." Scarlet said as she glanced around a bit more. "And before you ask Nightmare. Yes I could've grown my Nevermore wings, but considering what happened when we fought Demigra."

Nightmare groans a little. "Don't remind me. But, it seems like we're somewhere new.." Her red eye glowed as she snickered. "I say we burn this world."

Scarlet perks her head up as she cackled a little. "What a lovely idea Nightmare~"

"I know." Kurumi said with a small smirk, she rubbed her chin a little as she listened for the gun shots.

The gun shots could still be heard, but as to where it was coming from. It was hard to tell where, suddenly a armored jeep came drifting around the corner as it smoking and was about to explode. Someone had jumped out of the jeep and into the water as the vehicle blew up, making a small shock wave blowing past Scarlet and Nightmare.

"Ara, that might give us a clue where the gun fire is." Scarlet said. "Though I have an idea of what we can do Nightmare."

Kurumi cocked an eyebrow up as she glances over to Scarlet. Her clock eye ticking almost in sync with Scarlet's clock eye, not having to say a word about the idea. Nightmare knew exactly what Scarlet was thinking. "What a devilish plan, kill the first person we see. If our first kill is related to whoever is in this world, will surely be angry."

"Kasper get down!" Koko shouted. "There's way too many for our crew to handle." Koko was taking cover behind a wall. "Jonah, can you stall them?"

Jonah nodded his head as the young solider stood up and started to shoot, question was. What were they fighting?

"Damn, this robots showed up out of no where." R said as he threw a frag.

Scarlet and Kurumi watched from a distance noticing the robots. "Robots hmm? If I'm correct, the year this world is in...is 2012. Not unless they have advanced technology, different from our worlds."

"You might be right." Scarlet said as she licked her lips a little. "But, where's the fun in worrying about what year it is? We could easily kill them all in one shot...but, that man over there in the suit, he could be our first target." Scarlet pointed to where Kasper was standing at, stray bullets bounced off some of the robots, hitting the ground and flew past the two.

Nightmare scoffed annoyed that she almost got nicked by a bullet, she drew her flintlock and musket out as she started to slowly walk towards the war zone. "No point in sitting around, we have a target to kill."

Scarlet smirked. "By all means. Have some fun Kurumi, I'll join you shortly."

"Don't keep a girl waiting then Skar." Nightmare said as she grins widely.

"Hold your fire!" Lehm said as he noticed Kurumi. "I don't know if they're friend or foe, but we need to clear this path to get moving."

The robots kept shooting, but a blaze of heat came shooting forward as it burnt the robots to a crisp. Kurumi didn't even flinch as she knew who did it, but it made her job easier to get closer to Koko and the others.

"What the hell?" Valmet asked as her eye widen, she could feel the heat from what happened. Even though there was no fire spreading around them.

Scarlet snickered as she glances towards Nightmare. "Go for it doll~"

Kurumi aimed her flintlock at Kasper as she snickers. She was about to pull the trigger but noticed a knife get thrown at her. Lutz had thrown a knife at Kurumi, however he didn't expect her to catch it, Nightmare held the knife as she examined it for a moment. She pulled her arm back and flung her arm forward releasing the knife towards Kasper.

Time seemed to have slowed down when Nightmare threw the knife. Because with in a blink of an eye, the knife was sticking out of Kasper's neck, Scarlet cackles as she dashed forward and grabbed the knife slitting Kasper's throat. His head nearly coming off, blood sprayed all over Nightmare and Scarlet, covering the two from head to toe.

"NOOOO!" Koko shouted as she yanked Jonah's assault rifle from his hands and aimed it at the two. "Who are you? Who hired you?"

"Ara, did we make you mad? What was his relations to you?" Scarlet asked as she licked the knife. "Perhaps your brother?"

"I'll kill you!" Koko yelled. "I will kill you for what you've done to Kasper!"

"So brother then." Scarlet said with a grin as she kicked Koko back, before she could pull the trigger. "Oops, did you forget to pull the trigger?"

Valmet growled as she rushed over and punched Scarlet square in the jaw. Knocking her back onto her butt, there seemed to be a demon raging inside of Valmet. She cocked her arm back and made a fist, and threw her arm forward. Her fist making contact with Scarlet's face.

Jonah and the rest of Koko's crew fled as they had to put Kasper's body in a body bag. Nightmare had shot Valmet several times, knocking her back and off of Scarlet. Both girls could tell Valmet was strong, they wouldn't be much of a chance against Valmet one on one.

Valmet spits some blood on the ground, as she glared at the two. "I'll cut you both down to size. No one touches Koko and lives to tell about it."

"Ara, is that so?" Scarlet asked as she pops her jaw back into place. "Maybe you should rethink that, you see...we have something you don't have."

"Valmet! Hurry up!" Lutz shouted. "We need to go before the CIA and the cops show up."

Valmet slowly backed up, but kept her eye on Nightmare and Scarlet. "What do you mean by that?" She clinched her fist tightly putting her arms up in case they did any attempts to strike.

"Someone is interested." Nightmare said. "Should we spill the beans then?"

Scarlet snickered. "Of course, they need to know who they're dealing with." She could hear distance sirens of the police cars. "Looks like the cops are coming."

"Valmet, get in!" Jonah barked as he jumped out of the car, and grabbed the back of Valmet's shirt.

Kurumi grinned. "We have powers, your world wouldn't begin to understand half of what we're capable of doing, that fire was half of what my darling could do. She can do much more than your toys.."

"Powers?" R asked. "Like magical powers from TV and movies? That's nonsense That's all fake."

The cops drifted around the corner as they had the swat team as well. The CIA showed up behind them as Scarecrow stepped out of the car, he noticed the two girls. Curious on what was going on, he started to walk over.

"Scarecrow, stay back." Koko said. "These girls claim to have powers."

"Powers? The fuck did they drink or smoke?" Scarecrow asked.

Scarlet held her arm out to her side, which was aimed at Scarecrow and the swat. A fire started to swirl in her palm as she used her Maiden powers firing a full blast of heat and fire at them all.

"Oh shit." Scarecrow said as the on coming flame engulfed him and the others behind him, creating a massive explosion from the cars.

"Monster." Koko growled as her usual smile was a frown. "We need to move ASAP, back to HQ."

"Understood." Lehm said as he started up the car they were in and drove off. Luckily Valmet was in by the time Scarecrow showed up, but they had witnessed another death. "She killed them all..."

The smoke rose in the air as the flames shined on Scarlet and Kurumi. Something about this new world they were in brought the thrill of murder to them, Nightmare walked over to Scarlet as she grabbed her hand placing it onto her stomach. Scarlet cocked an eyebrow up as she looked at the spirit, wondering what she was doing.

"I'm pregnant with our child." Nightmare said. "Don't ask how, I just know I am. I wanted to tell you after we had settled into a new home before Demigra showed up..."

Scarlet stayed silent for a moment as she snickers. "Ara ara, so we're going to be parents then? How interesting...we have plenty of time before you start bumping out in front. So, lets plan for our next assault."

Kurumi smiled a bit as she hid a small blush, she wrapped her arms around Scarlet's as she giggles. "Then lead the way to a hotel Skar. We can use that for our base of operations, and figure out how Demigra's time rifts keep opening up."
