That was when I saw the Boarbatusk come into view as I prepare my <Martial Arts Mastery> skill at the ready to defend myself and use my <Aura> skill to increase my power to use.

The Boarbatusk is quadruped with many features associated with a real-world boar, including cloven feet, a line of hair sprouting from its spine, snub snout, and tusks. The Boarbatusk has four eyes and a bone-like mask that seems to be strapped to its face by a black vein-like organic tether.

It has a series of plates along its back and on its thighs, and two extra sets of tusks, including two large curving tusks. However, their underside is comparatively under-protected and vulnerable, with little to no body armor or shielding.

It came ramming towards me as it started to roll its direction at me as I sidestepped away from the beast as I remain focused on my friends telling me about the weakness. It was not needed but the help is appreciated.

As the Grimm stands a distance away from me, even studying I trying to figure out what to defeat me...

"Squee!"

Once more it began to spin at me trying to come towards me as I brace myself as it finally came within close range, I grabbed it gripping my fingers tightly at the sides as it spins while I take some damage.

I'm losing HP faster if I hold it like this, but I began to crush the soft parts of the body as I began to see multiple signs of critical hits I hug it to death, and thanks to my skill-boosting enhancements it became a breeze.

Stacking the damage with my skills coming along it was only a matter of seconds before the Boarbatusk was defeated plus with the beatdown I'm getting I get the chance to level up my physical endurance.

I managed to get Port's and everyone's attention as he began to talk to the class, "Bravo! Bra-vo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true Huntsman-in-training! I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. Be sure to cover the assigned readings, and... stay vigilant! Class dismissed!"

With that everything is over as Weiss is already left with her own self-issues as her team wonders what's going on with her.

Well, that's something that doesn't need my help but the looks of concern of my teammates on the other hand look towards my fingers with shock evident in their eyes.

There shows some red marks blood scratches and signs of my skin being scratched at as I began to use <Aura Amp> to increase the recovery as my teammates looked a bit surprised.

Forgot that to them that what I did could potentially break all my fingers gladly I have boosting skills for keeping me intact.

Although they looked very surprised, I explained to them about <Aura Amp> to ease their worries, "No worries. I'm completely fine with all my 10 digits here see. Like I said before Ren I have some trump cards. This is one of them. <Aura Amp> it does as the name suggest. Remember how I healed you during the exam?"

Ren remembered as he nodded but Pyrrha was persistent as she asked glancing at my fingers as he spoke curiously towards me, "Hmm… alright then leader. But can you answer us why not have a weapon or at least use your semblance? We saw the entrance videos as you can clearly control, you're Aura power so why didn't you?"

I knew I made the right call not explaining my powers out in the open.

Nodding to his questions I responded in a simple tone for his question to be satisfied, "It's just as I said to Prof. Port. There will be a day I won't be prepared to fight so I thought I took the chance to see how I fare bare-handed. Though I could use some practice."

Pyrrha sighs at this while she then smiles sheepishly at my answer….

Nora replied to this with a grin on her face with her recommendation, "Oh! In that case how about breaking the boar's legs! I bet you'll be better at fighting that way! Haha!"

Smirking keeping up with Nora's upbeat attitude as I replied to her, "Sure, thing I'll be sure to do that next time."

Note to self… break the legs if possible.

Agreeing with Nora's request we all finally got out to get ready for Prof. Oobleck's class since the day is still young and getting used to the Academy the better. With that, we proceeded to take our time learning for the next course.

That was when I had a sudden urge to sneeze, "Achoo."

Pyrrha glanced at me asking of my concern, "You ok Jack?"

Replying to Pyrrha about the sneeze I shrugged it off to her, "Yeah I'm fine."

Weird I didn't think I would catch a cold or something.

Sniff.

It might be nothing but for now, I should focus back on class to learn.

Passing some time, I have to admit being in Oobleck class I managed to learn a lot about their history and with Miss Thumbelina Peach about plants and wildlife which I admit is interesting to learn.

At least learning from them made me learn more about Remnant than I could on my own. I'm not sure but I know that at least it lunchtime as the faces of my friends seems to be busy. Weiss doesn't seem to be present as I saw the members of team RWBY talking to us.

The conversation seems to be going well on some topics and such as how school life is treated or the classes.

Seems pretty normal… well if you don't take into account bullying that is.

Already the first day and team CRDL hasn't been expelled yet.

However, I was never one for racism plus it could teach the group, and specifically Blake to never let bullies threaten you for one.

However, it looks like it was unneeded as one of the Faunus team members came up and shook off Cardin and his goons as they took the hint.

Guess my intervention was unneeded.

At least there are some students who are like that makes me glad that good people like them are around for now though I should consider what to do next for my skills.

Many possibilities to test and experiment with now that my powers reached a basic level.

Although I do need a place to train.

At the time with the Rose Cabin Home, I couldn't for the off chance I cause a fire or some destruction but here I can freely test the extent of my powers and skills.

At the very least though Ruby seems to be in deep thought about something that must be the words the Headmaster has given her to think about.

Oh wait, I just realized something as I couldn't help but ask Ruby in honest curiosity because of her age, "Ruby… quick question do the professors know that you need at least 2 years to catch up with the rest of the courses? Or do they expect you to already know because of the age gap? I couldn't help but ask?"

Her eyes widen at this as everyone took notice as she slams her face down on her sandwich lunch as she moans in disdain, "NO…! I just realized that! Why did you point it out? Damn it why did I come here two years early if my grade – "

*Beep*

That was when a beeping could be heard through her scroll as she quickly recovers with a bright happy smile on her face, "Never mind. Looks like Ozpin told me and Jack that we are free of homework on certain grounds. For me, I'm given time till next semester to catch up with the rest as well as no exams and for Jack is the same for our circumstances. From your best Headmaster Ozpin. Hooray!"

Well… Fuck.

I knew my good LUCK was raised higher than most but to have no homework to worry about for a whole year.

Where the hell was this in my previous life!

That is like GOD-level shit and where the fuck was the gamer powers when I needed them back in my old world?

I could've been free from this bullshit for life if I increased my LUCK like crazy like this.

That was when everyone glanced at me with some questionable eyes except for Yang she understood my power as she spoke out the same response, "Dude. Congrats on not getting homework for the semester. I'm really jealous you won't have to deal with that. Seriously no homework for a whole semester? Like what the hell."

The expressions on Yang's face were priceless at the situation.

Although it could happen normally but meh.

I'll take any excuse to not have homework as it's the vein, of my existence.

My team member already knew it was probably something to do with my 'amnesia' as they nodded their heads in understanding with Ruby's team shrugging at this since it wasn't their concern.

Hmm…

Great now I have a choice to consider here…

Do I let the Fall of Beacon happen or do I save it just for me to do some homework next semester…

Decisions, decisions…

Do I want to torture myself with homework or not is the question?

But all in all, it has been a pretty good first half of the day so now how about the next class to see how it goes.
