Chapter 246: Goals

Chapter 246: Goals

~Jack POV~

I was stunned at how kind they are to me and I couldn't help but smile at them that me explaining my secret to them with Ren responding first, "So are you going to explain this to everyone else than Jack?"

Thinking if I should tell this everyone else…

I shook my head at the idea now.

I responded to Ren that there are just some things best left unsaid and to keep this a secret only meant for Team JNPR, "No… I think you guys knowing is just enough. After all, this is Team JNPR's secret from now on, right? A secret best left only for us. Best keep it that way."

They all smiled at that agreeing to keep it a secret and sensing their emotions of happiness that I finally devolved in them to keep my secret and the level of trust shown to my friends.

Next was Nora the one wanting to ask the next question with a smile on her face, "Ok with all of that done with the fearless leader! What's the next goal for us now!"

Ah…

Nervously coughing at that I tried to calm my nerves.

I mean it's not like this could go wrong with me explaining the next part of my plan.

I mean they practically know everything about me already so what's to fear this time, right?

Nothing at all will cause pause to these two.

I mean if my secret didn't get any reaction then I doubt this one will.

Breathing in a sweet breath of relief as I casually talk next to my next agenda with Pyrrha already understanding, "Whew… man you guys really know how to make a guy feel calm about this. Well at the very least you guys won't be shocked when I say my next plan is to kill the Brother Gods next right?"

"…."

"Uh… what?"

Oh, come on!

That's what got you to hold up but not my secret!

"Ah…"

"I'm sorry what?"

Okay, that might get them stumped since my next goal is to kill their Gods.

Blinking slowly process this the two stare at me with some mixed reactions of me killing their Gods next with Nora the first to speak, "Uh… not to impose or anything but can I ask why you want to kill our Gods? And isn't that impossible to kill them?"

Ren followed up with Nora's question at me with confusion in his voice asking me, "Right. Aren't they… Do you know unbeatable? I mean they are Gods what can you do against them?"

Ah…

I keep forgetting that they don't know despite how powerful they are…

Beings like them can still be killed off.

Taking out my Ascalon from my <Deep Pockets> keeping it safe away with Pyrrha's eyes on it in an understanding nod.

Ren and Nora looked confused as I explain to them no rather it was best to show them why they need to go, "This here Ren and Nora is Ascalon. My answer to those Elder Gods Brother Light and Darkness. It's best to show you why they have to go."

*Shiii*

Like that my whole base turned into a white void showing past events with the Brother Gods on how humanity was created along with how they show this 'experiment' and us as a whole a 'failure' in our eyes.

I waited a bit for the two to see all the events of them do as they please not leaving their inhabitants alone after creating them along with seeing how we tick or do this to show their experiment.

Pyrrha seeing this was shocked at how powerful they are and how heartless they can be to other worlds they create to rebel or how they displease them but Brother Light gives them a chance to redeem themselves.

But when the two agreed that the two experiments they have is a 'failure' Brother God Darkness decided to wipe out all of life on the planet easily destroying it through the core of the planet as all three of them pale at the idea.

And what's worse though they aren't like other Gods leaving the mortal realm alone they rather want to experiment on how life would react to their accords experimenting on humanity 'granting' them freedom under their watch.

How could you grant something 'freedom' under watch and key on this planet just makes my blood boil at how controlling they are as my Ascalon shows everything they do and get a better grasp of their power.

Elder Gods seem to fit them best.

After waiting for their actions to be done it was finally over with my teammates clearly shaken by the events happening as I speak out to them, "Sigh… Take your time to process everything. After all, you all ain't the only ones surprised by the latest news of events happening or their actions."

Listening they all took their leave for a bit shuddering at the presence of Brother Gods in action as I think how to deal with them.

Going through different planes?

Seems like I'm going to need to pause them in place and force them to be here in this universe to have any odds go against them.

Perhaps stripping them of their divinity would do along with absorbing them into something else or rather someone else to obtain their powers.

And I have just the machine I have in mind to deal with their powers and with Ascalon providing the means I would need to cancel their own divinity as well in the process along with the traps needed.

Fortunately, these Elder Gods can't see into the future which is a blessing while I can see through them with my weapon.

Now it's just a matter of WHEN I can deal with those Elder Gods soon enough.

Practice and planning make, things perfect or accurate enough.

Thinking are for lesser beings as I doubt these Gods ever had to think much in a fight where their enemy is equal but then again, I'm alone against them.

1v2.

Talk about fair odds for them.

But what's the best kind of kill that is good for them?

Overkill.

/////

After a bit of time has passed showing the teammates of my plans, I see them all return after they calmed down as I was busy creating a Reality Anchor.

The same Reality Anchor that the SCP Foundation used to stop their SCP Gods or reality warpers that would put those Gods in their place.

Along with a few backup stuff with me already collecting the relics but not all too here till I bring them close in together to call them.

Just call them enough for them to lead into my trap prepared for them but I need it away from Remnant on my terms separating the space and their powers in one full go making them just extremely powerful beings.

Returning to my teammates on the other hand I see they managed to calm down as Ren took in some air before finally responding, "Sigh… Ok. That takes the cake on what you're doing next Jack. But…"

The words went unsaid as worry is shown on his face as Nora spoke next for him, "Is it the best choice of action though?"

I nodded responding to Nora's words explaining to her my goal here with no room for discussion, "Yes. As long as they exist then we won't ever be safe. But fortunately, while I would fight them right away, I would rather wait a bit before I feel ready to face them. Preparation is key here."

Right after Pyrrha responded hearing my plans to wait before finally dealing with the Brother Gods for good, "How long? How long would it take for you to accomplish your goal of ending them…?"

Immediately I responded to Pyrrha's question with a defeated sigh shrugging at this, "Perhaps about 2 or 3 years at best. While I would fight them, I would like to feel at my best against them."

2 or 3 years…

That amount of time would be enough for me to level up my skills to their max dealing with the Brother Gods.

Along with a hyperbolic time chamber of my own creation along with some training partners searching for specific characters with my skills on what if and what can going through memories of them could prove useful.

I want to be at my very best trained and prepared against them when the time comes for me to fight against them…

But it doesn't have to be today.

It doesn't.

In the near future, I would have to fight them but it's not right now.

At that Ren sighs out like he was holding his breath too much responding, "Sigh… is there anything you would want from us to do here?"

Shaking my head I responded to Ren with a smile on my face laughing lightly, "Hahaha… no not really. All you need to do is when we finally graduate from Beacon peacefully. When the time comes, I'll handle it at my best."

After all, I have foreseen the outcome using Ascalon.

Many possibilities happening could go wrong or not but in the end, all I can do is prepare and get strong enough to force those gods to bleed.

Listening to my words Pyrrha soon comes close to me placing her hand over her head and sighing at my response, "Sigh… I swear Jack one of these days you might actually destroy what's the norm any more than you already do. But I'm glad that you aren't going to rush this though."

I can agree.

Nodding as my hand and placing my hand over hers I smiled contently as I responded with a gentle smile, "Yeah… For now, I would want to treasure the moments we have. I want to experience this normal life for now. After graduating and parties I'll deal with them. What I want is to stay by your guy's side for now. After all, we only get to live once right?"

They all smirked at that returning to our normal grove again since I will train for the next 3 years straight with clones I can calmly focus on my life.

Just enjoy it up till graduation day with no more trouble bullshit.

Just play the game we call life before things can truly end.

There is no rush I just want to enjoy the comforts with friends and family before Judgement Day will come.

Till then…

I just have to game on.

Time to return to the grind.
