Chapter 234: RWBY Prime—Hero from Another World (20)
~Third POV~
Ruby and the others enter the Vault with Robyn with them as they all escape through the hole in the Vault back to the Bullhead inside with Ruby's Semblance.
They look around the empty Bullhead until they hear a whistle from May, "You are coming, or what?"
Ruby and the others move forward, entering May's invisibility field as they all left with Ruby mumbling to herself, "That wasn't right… he didn't have to take a General life…. We had the choice of making things right but –"
Interrupting Ruby Weiss raises her voice out her opinion of Ruby's idealistic idea, "Ruby! Ironwood had my own sister at point-blank range if we didn't comply! Sorry but… I would've followed the General order if it wasn't for Jack's interference…"
Her voice dies down as Blake places her hand over Weiss's shoulder clearly distressed with voicing out her opinion, "Ruby there was no way getting out of that situation unless someone had to go… it was either Winter, our surrender with us losing Penny, or no message sent to Remnant. We were under the scenario where no one could survive unless one had to go."
Ruby tried to ask but couldn't as her words be caught in her throat as she thought to herself in Weiss's shoes, 'If… if that was either Yang or Uncle Qrow…. I—I would've done the same and give up if it meant saving those close to me… was there really no other way… is that why Uncle Qrow stayed with Jack because he knew there was one choice to be made…'
Nora places her hand over Ruby taking in a deep breath before finally responding, "Ruby. We can deal with the aftermath later… we need to take care of the now. We did what we came to do. And we need to trust Penny to do her part."
Penny looks at Nora with a worried expression, but it soon turns resolute mumbling to herself, "Your—r right. We will do what we can. And… I'm choosing to help Jack against the fight against Salem."
Everyone's eyes widen at this as they tried to deny this, but Penny was resolute about it as her Maiden's eye flames light up, "I'm so, so sorry. It is time for me to go set up Amity to send our message. After that, I will go ahead and help everyone. Like Jack said I will do what I feel that's right."
In the backseat, Ruby tries to comfort Penny with a smile, but the Winter Maiden is inconsolable as Ruby pulls Penny into a hug finally speaking, "We'll see each other again really soon, I promise… and make sure to be careful. Will do all that we can to help Mantle while your away. Just… be safe."
Behind Ruby's back, Penny catches Weiss and Blake's gazes, and they look at her reassuringly. May presses a button on the console, retracting the windshield.
Penny climbs onto her seat, and with one last salute, flies off, headed for Amity Colosseum.

Elsewhere back at the Mantle Crater with Pyrrha and G. Penny talking to Yang's group about their appearance here as their eyes widen at the news.
Oscar was the first to respond in clear shock as he clears his throat in surprise, "I… whoa…. I don't think I heard much about what's unbelievable but…"
Yang finally digest the info finally speaking out in clear surprise with her voice cracking, "You… you mean that in your world my-y mom Summer is still alive-e?"
Pyrrha nodded at this with Yang crying to herself as Ren asked about his counterpart relationship to G. Penny, "And the other me and Nora… they are… well… together, together with each other?"
G. Penny smirks at this with a nod showing a couple moment with the two making Ren conflicted with his own emotion about it with him feeling regret and guilt in his stomach of what happened to his Nora and him fighting.
Jaune on the other hand looks at Pyrrha hesitantly before finally speaking out in hope, "Is… is your team leader really not me? And is this Jack guy important to you?"
Pyrrha expressed an embarrassed blush with a nod as she finally spoke to him, "Of course… how could I not? If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be the girl that I am today."
Hearing Pyrrha's response has made Jaune's heart ache not having his own Pyrrha listening how happy she was as he thinks to himself darkly, 'Heh… their leader is at least better than me… I could've never given Pyrrha her happiness because I was weak… an idiot that got her killed… if only I could've said something different to her during the Vytal Festival… if only I could have said differently…'
Seeing this Pyrrha began to place her hand over Jaune shoulder as she spoke to him in a kind tone, "Don't think badly Jaune. Everyone did the best they could on that day. You simply need to move on. Just never forget her. If you ever did then she will really have died. As long as you keep her alive in your memory then she will be with you in spirit."
At this Jaune cries a bit wiping away the tears feeling as if he gotten closure as Oscar sees the expressions of his friends.
*Beep*
Hearing a beep from G. Penny eyes she blushes a bit embarrassed about the situation getting herself out, "Oh! I'm sorry everyone I need to get this. Beep! Hello? Jack what's the – YOU DID WHAT?!!"
Hearing the loud sound of shock from G. Penny's voice sounding a bit angry and conversation going with everyone peeking out listening in as the robot girl finally responded, "Sigh… yeah, I saw the video now. You were left no choice and made one. You want me to help out my counterpart with Amity Satellite? Alright got it."
Turning around G. Penny gazes over the curious eyes of the people as she coughs into her metal fist of the situation with an blush of embarrassment shown, "Well… this is so going to be awkward to explain… so… uh… I don't know how to tell you this, but Ironwood is dead while my friend is impersonating him rallying an army against Salem… okbyenow!!"
*WOOSH*
Flying away as everyone heard the news with many things going in their minds of the situation happening in Atlas.
"WHAT!!!"

Elsewhere in Atlas Headquarters with a fake Ironwood giving command as Jack gazes at Qrow with curiosity as he spoke to him, "So…. Any peculiar reason why you stayed with me and not with the others?"
Qrow finally responds sighing in his breath as he spoke his words to him, "Sigh… just lots of things really. One of those things being I don't trust you… and especially with the cluster fuck of an order sending Atlas Soldiers to help Mantle and few to fight off against the Grimm coming to Atlas borders?"
G. Ruby next to Jack also was interested in Jack's next step as he took out a capsule as he finally spoke out, "Easy. I don't need an army to take out Salem's forces. All I need is a few bombs to do the job. Its just getting the relic from her I don't want to damage. The lamp to be specific really."
Hearing the news Qrow eyes widen as he slumps down on a nearby placing his hand over his head as he spoke, "By Gods… sigh…. Everything is just coming out bad today isn't?"
Listening G. Ruby began to talk to Jack of their goal to help the Kingdom as she spoke out to him, "Jack how exactly are we going to take care of Salem? And for the most part how do we take care of her when she comes. I know your weapons could kill but not fully so any way to incapacitate her?"
At this Jack merely smirked at that as the clone Ironwood disguise as he replied to her, "Just going to need one relic to do the job. But I prefer after we take care of the Salem issue first before dealing with the Staff of Creation."
His Ruby nodded as he gazes outside seeing the giant Grimm landing on the Kingdom as he tosses the Capsule around in his hand while mumbling to himself, "I hope that our Penny could help out this one against Cinder. I have to place my trust for her to not fail while I deal with the bigger issue here. But a little help won't hurt."

Pietro Polendina is putting the finishing touches on part of the Amity Communications Tower when he receives communication from Penny Polendina as she is sitting in front of a bomb inside the Schnee Dust mine.
She looks down at the bomb, and her sensors tell her that it is a danger as Pietro explains to her calmly, "There is a difference between a good idea and our best idea. Sadly, we don't have time for much else."
Penny touches the bomb's interface, arming it. Meanwhile, Pietro rides the elevating center floor of the Amity Colosseum downward, "We have enough systems up and running to broadcast our message and keep Amity in atmospheric orbit. But our thrusters just aren't capable of reaching our target altitude on their own."
On the lowest level of the colosseum's arena, Maria Calavera is piloting a mech and using it to carry a large machine, "Ha, fortunately, we're sitting on a couple hundred tons of thrust."
Maria walks the mech to the center of the platform and puts the machine down as Pietro explains to Penny, "Once we passed into broadcast range, we'll activate stabilizers, re-establish global communications, and boost the message we've recorded out into the rest of the world. After that, we just have to pilot Amity away from all this mess."
Penny arms another bomb in the mines and flies up to a tunnel where, yet another bomb is sitting as she speaks out, "No worries. Once I'm done, I'm helping the people against –"
Pietro and Maria are riding the platform back up as he immediately disagrees with Penny's choice as Maria talks to Pietro, "Don't you think Penny has had enough people telling her what to do?"
Pietro sighs hearing from Maria as Penny flies out of the Dust mine and up to Amity Tower. Once she arrives, she sits on the edge of the platform, while Pietro works on a computer projected by the machine that Maria placed, "All systems are ready. Penny?"
Penny looks at him and then gets up and walks over as Pietro smiles seeing the job being almost done, "Amity is requesting launch access… now."
Penny looks at the screen, which says "Connecting…" She looks down, waiting. Pietro and Maria look at Penny, and after a few moments, her eyes glow slightly.
The tower's stabilizers activate, glowing purple, and Pietro and Maria celebrate, "Oh yes, it worked!"
Penny smiles, but then lowers her head. Pietro places his hand on her arm to comfort her, and she looks at him and smiles. He then begins typing on the computer again, "Oh, I didn't have time to install seat belts, so I'd advise you to hang on."
Pietro taps a button on his walking chair, and parts of the chair's legs begin glowing purple. Maria laughs and walks away. The bombs in the Dust mine begin counting down from thirty seconds, and Penny begins helping Maria get back inside the mech.
*THUD*
*Fzzzz*
The two are soon distracted by a loud thud, followed by a fireball flying up through the air. Penny flies over to the edge of the platform and looks down to see a huge hole where the fireball melted through from outside the colosseum.
An airship levitates up from the smoke, and atop the airship stands Cinder Fall with flames coming from her hands as she excited talked to Penny, "And where do you think you're going?"
Penny looks back at Pietro, who looks scared worry about her as Penny began to go against her father's wishes, Penny flies down and floats above the arena to face Cinder, drawing Floating Array.
Cinder hops down from the airship with a grin, while Emerald Sustrai and Neopolitan exit the airship.
The countdown on the bombs reaches zero, and the bombs explode, setting off a chain reaction of Dust eruptions. As the colorful explosions intensify, four jets on Amity Tower activate.
The combined force causes the tower to begin flying into the air, which slams Penny into the floor. Cinder drops to one knee and steadies herself with her hands till G. Penny finally flies above seeing everything.
Her eyes narrow down at Cinder from afar glaring at her as her fist tighten but before she could act…
*Shiii*
A portal opens up to reveal Jack coming out surprising G. Penny as he spoke out, "I had few minutes to spare before I drop the bomb on Salem. How about we help them out eh Penny?"
G. Penny merely smiled taking Jack's helping hand on the matter, "Of course. The sooner the better I say."
Jack merely smiled as the two began to move towards the fight happening below.
