~Third POV~

"Ahhh!"

"Jack!!!"

"Please I'm going to throw up!"

Stopped hopping from the building to the building of Mantle with Jack finally stopping as he holds Ruby's bridal style getting her stomach in order as she spoke to him, "Argh… my poor stomach… why did you have to jump building to building?"

*Pew*

*Boom*

Using <Shigan> to destroy a nearby spy drone hearing no more are around he began to talk to Ruby with no one watching, "Sorry Ruby. But it was either that or would you like for me to speed run around Mantle?"

Ruby's face paled under her mask thinking of Jack carrying her while using <Super Speed> quickly shakes her head suddenly feeling grateful for him jumping, "No. No sorry! I like to have my food in my stomach where it is. So… how are we entering Atlas?"

At this Jack thinks for a bit before searching for their entrance point as he points up with his finger beneath Atlas with Ruby's eyes following till her eyes widen at it, "Is… is that a hole underneath the Atlas Kingdom?! Who would've created a hole large enough for that to work or the force needed?!!"

Agreeing with her words, Jack replied to Ruby in a confident tone, "We need to go to the General Office to re-establish the connection. Calls are working but other than that we need to go inside personally to reconnect control to the Atlas robots."

Hearing that Ruby felt a bit unnerved by forcibly taking control as she voices out her reluctance hearing this dimension General Ironwood acting this way, "Is taking control really our only choice? Couldn't we convince the General of another way?"

At that Jack did think of such an idea Ruby spoke but shook his head responding to Ruby's question, "If that were that easy wouldn't he have listened to your counterpart being here? I managed to listen to the news Ruby that our counterparts are wanted fugitives, but I know they aren't the bad guys here. I listen to their pleas when everything was reestablished with my Semblance and trust me… Ironwood is beyond listening to others."

Ruby could only frown at that but couldn't refute his words as they have truth to them seeing the news going around her with everything going to martial law.

Using <Telekinesis> bringing the destroyed spy drone close to him he began to hack and remodify the drone.

Opening up his Scroll and using his skill <Technopathy> on it and the spy drone Ruby asked curiously to Jack while having her guard up, "So are you trying to hack into something we can use here Jack with the spy drone and connecting it with your Scroll?"

Nodding at that Jack replied to Ruby with an amused tone in his voice, "Yup. With the spy drone being here that must mean it must transfer its surveillance back to the main military. I'm simply using it to send a very nasty friend to help us ruin Atlas twice."

Ruby's eyes widen at that before laughing to herself as she began to calm down, "Haha! You mean a repeat of what Atlas did hacking into your Capsule but on a grander scale! Can't wait to see how this goes."

Jack nodded and uploaded the SMG4 virus for a repeat of what was going to happen before he managed to intercept a call from Ironwood raising his eyebrow and talking to himself, "Guess it seems like the General wants to talk to someone… what better time to introduce ourselves. Heh."

A smirk appeared on Jack's face thinking of his choice of words…

On the rooftop with Ruby, Nora has a somewhat sad expression, but then musters up a look of determination.

She walks over to Ruby, Blake, and Weiss as Blake puts her hand on Ruby's shoulder talking to her, "Hey, we're still united."

Ruby only mumbles to herself gripping her weapon tightly, "I hope so."

Maria over earpiece responds to them with each of them listening up for updates, "I can get Pietro out to Amity to prepare, but that doesn't answer how we're getting all of you up to Atlas."

Weiss began to respond by suggesting an idea to better help her goals, "I might actually have an idea f—"

*Beep*

*Beep*

A beeping tone starts playing from someone's Scroll. The girls look confused, and Blake, Ruby, and Nora check their Scrolls.

The four of them then turn to look at Penny, who is holding her ringing Scroll, unsure of what to do. The scroll's screen says:

[Incoming Call

General Ironwood]

Penny nervously taps the Talk icon, accepting the call with Ironwood calmly speaking out to Penny, "Hello, Penny. I'm worried for your safety. Tell me where you are and I'll have you picked up right away. Atlas needs you, Penny. Salem is here."

Ruby walks over to Penny, who allows her to take the Scroll talking in her place, "She's not going anywhere until you change your mind about Mantle. There's still a chance for Remnant to be—"

Ironwood interrupts Ruby's talking to him in an angry tone finally drawing the line, "Mantle… You're still worried about Mantle?! Remnant is doomed, Ruby. Unless we leave, Salem will destroy Atlas and with it, any hope Humanity has left. We need to think about the future. If she makes it through our defenses, everything that follows will be in your hands."

With Ironwood's final statement, Penny tenses become worried and then leans into a hug from Ruby.

Ruby's brave face falters, and she looks somewhat worried…

"Oh, shut the fuck up tindick."

That was when a sudden glitch appeared catching the group and Ironwood by surprise as the emblem of the Future Foundation appeared speaking out, "Oh I'm so scared of a fucking immortal lady that I'm going brain dead doing stupid decisions yeah that's what I'm hearing from you, fucktard."

With the sudden cursing out of his system and being alarmed with Ironwood asking out clearly not liking the new person's tone, "You how did you reached this call –"

But the voice from the other end ignored him as he forcibly called off the call beginning to talk to Ruby's group catching them a bit off guard, "Finally that tindick is out of this call. Annoying… so then is it safe to assume that Penny, Ruby, Blake, Weiss, Nora, and May are with you all at this current time with Pietro and Maria helping behind the scenes?"

That caught the group to completely freeze up exactly knowing who was with each other as many thoughts went through their heads with Ruby being the first to speak up with suspicion in her voice, "Who are you… and how did you exactly know where we are… and are you with Salem."

The voice at the other end responded as if offended or annoyed responding, "Oh please. If I was then this conversation wouldn't exist now wouldn't it? But on to important matters, you lovely ladies need a ride into Atlas Military for the terminal from Ironwood Office to get access, right?"

Now it was getting frightening and scary to the girls how accurately the person at the other end of the call can actually know their actions with Blake speaking with suspicion, "And how exactly do you know about all of this?"

Instead of replying to Blake's response the voice at the other end merely responded, "In that case how about a free entry point that not even those Atlas fucks not know about. And no worries Bellabooty I play nice."

At that Blake felt a bit weirder out mumbling to herself the nickname, "Bellabooty! When I get my hands –"

But next Weiss began to voice out the entry point that the person at the other end was talking about, "What entrance point are you talking about you degenerate? Atlas has everything tightly kept secured."

Then that was when the voice at the other respond casually getting their attention, "Oh? Really? Then I guess this call was for nothing then. I thought you lovely ladies would've known there was a free entrance path of the Relic Vault underneath the Headmaster of Atlas Academy Office just right there waiting to be exploited."

Now that caught their attention right away with Penny accessing the surveillance camera and Pietro doing the same till, he responded to Ruby's group sounding surprised through the earpiece, "Why… the person you're talking to is actually right? I checked the spy drones and there is an entrance path not guarded as if recently something attacked from there?"

Listening to that and finding another entrance pathway Nora was the one to voice out sneaking in, "Heh! Thanks, stranger, for the tip! Now the question is how are we all going to go inside the whole without being detected?"

"Hahaha!"

Hearing a laugh coming from the other end of the Scroll the person from the other end responded, "Hahaha! That should be the least of our concerns! I already sent a very nasty but funny virus to deal with Tindick that could give us enough time to act as we, please. Also doesn't May have a Semblance that is perfect for stealth?"

At this May merely flinched at how accurate the person at the other end was with everyone on Ruby's side questioning to themselves, 'Who the heck is this guy?!!'

Before they could even get an answer though a Bullhead suddenly appeared in front of them getting their attention getting their weapons but not before Weiss saw an emblem on the side stopping everyone from attacking, "Wait! Everyone don't attack that's not part of the Atlas Military Bullheads!"

They immediately stopped when they also noticed the Emblem, they are not familiar with.

Opening the side door hatch hearing the speaker from the other side of Penny's Scroll hearing the person in the Bullhead and from the Scroll are from the same person, "Now the question is for you all… are you willing to risk trusting little old me to give you a free ride inside with Ruby's Semblance getting us to our destination or risk everything going in by yourselves? Tick-tock people we don't have all day!"

At this, it was Ruby's call to make the choice seeing the situation at hand…

In an Atlas medical facility, Marrow Amin, Vine Zeki, Elm Ederne, and Harriet Bree are staring at Clover Ebi's corpse on a table in front of them. Marrow is saddened, Vine is stoic, and Elm and Harriet are angry.

Ironwood watches them through the window of Winter Schnee's patient room across the hall, while Atlas technicians check on Winter.

Ironwood has retrieved his black gun and has had his injured left arm replaced with a prosthesis. He looks at his new left hand, flexing his fingers, and then looks over to the door as an Atlas crewmate enters the room and salutes him.

He briefly salutes back, and they both place their hands behind their backs as the Crewmate responds, "Sir, the prisoners have arrived. They're being processed in Stockade B."

He nods with an affirming grunt, and the crewmate leaves with Winter speaking, "Qrow and Robyn?"

Winter winces as one of the technicians makes her bend her wrist back as Ironwood orders the technicians, "Could you give us the room, please?"

The technicians promptly exit the room, and Winter gives him a reassuring smile, "I'll be fine."

She struggles to curl her fingers into a fist, grimacing, leaving Ironwood unconvinced. His expression softens slightly, and he relaxes his stance talking to Winter as he turns away, "Thank you, Winter. I don't know what I would do without you. I've never—no one has seen a Grimm force this large before. The city's Hard-Light shields will hold, but not forever."

Winter asked lost in thought of their next plan, "What will you do… sir?"

However, an Atlas Technician can be heard outside Winter Room from the halls, "Wait, you can't be in here!"

In the hallway, the technicians who had been tending Winter move forward with their hands up to stop Councilmen Camilla and Sleet from approaching as Sleet spoke outraged, "This is absurd! Let us through!"

Ironwood watches through the window, and Harriet steps out of the room across the hall and watches with her hand on her hip with Camilla speaking, "I told you, we need to speak to the general!"

Ironwood merely stood there calm as he could be with a cold look in his eyes, "I'm going to do everything I can to defend this kingdom."

Camilla and Sleet push their way past the technicians with Camilla asking outraged by Ironwood's actions, "What in God's name do you think you're doing, James?!"

Ironwood merely replied coldly with no emotions in his tone, "No matter the cost."

With his hands clasped behind his back again, Ironwood calmly walks through the door and into the hall with Sleet demanding his actions clearly enraged, "And what's this about martial law? Have you lost your damn mind?! Are you that scared of what—"

*BANG*

As he makes it into the middle of the hall, Ironwood draws his white gun and shifts his stance, aiming and immediately firing a single shot at Sleet, who cannot be seen from Winter's view of the window.

As Ironwood takes aim, Camilla's eyes widen, and she turns to look at Sleet, bringing her arms up close to her chest and screaming in terror as the gun fires. Elm, Vine, and Marrow had been watching the councilmen while Ironwood walked into the hall, and when the gun fired, Vine maintained his stoic expression, while Elm and Marrow's eyes widened in shock.

All three look at Ironwood, who lowers his gun. Camilla is staring wide-eyed at where Sleet stood, and Sleet has gone completely silent. She hyperventilates and looks at Ironwood.

Ironwood turns and walks in the opposite direction down the hall, holstering his gun, while Winter and Harriet watch. Harriet looks at Winter, then lowers her gaze. Winter sits there, processing what has happened with her mouth slightly agape. She closes her mouth and frowns.

*Beep*

"Hey, Mario you recorded that right?"

That was when everyone paused seeing the actions that Ironwood did as he tilted his head at the screen with SMG4 waving at him with a camera at the ready, "Well looky here General you are going to be a Super Star—"

*BANG*

Another gunshot rang out as all the screens in the medical bay showed how Ironwood shot Sleet in cold blood as SMG4 came out speaking with his arms crossed, "Gezz mister tyrant Tindick. Can't get enough killing people in your way and you think you're the hero of the story? Please would a hero shoot a kid in cold blood?"

Next, a clip reveals an area making Ironwood react to what was being played as everyone's eyes were watching the event happening when Ironwood shot Oscar trying to dissuade him.

Everything was being told out as the people of Mantle and Atlas were listening to the hologram tv screen as everyone's eyes widen seeing Ironwood draws his gun and shot Oscar, breaking his Aura and sending him off the edge.

*BANG*

With no emotion on his face, Ironwood lowers his smoking gun…

Multiple people seeing the video saw the events happening to ensure planting the seeds of doubt for the people's faith in the General are immediately questioned after seeing the video in front of them...

Back inside Monstra, a fleshy membrane door tears open. Salem stands on the other side holding the Relic of Knowledge speaking to it, "I have questions for you."

She holds the Relic out to a Grimm, whose only features shown are its large jaw. It sniffs the Relic and opens its gaping maw slightly to the Grimm with Salem speaking to it, "But first I need the one who can show me how. Bring him to me..."

The Grimm growls menacingly…

"Grr… Get… the… boy…"
