Chapter 142: Dance Night (4)

~Third POV~

The sight of the lonely abandoned rose turns into a large collection of the same flowers, one dropping outward, in a large vase behind Yang, now in a short white dress with black heels as she stands at a podium.

The doors in front of her open and she flips out upon seeing who walks in with a happy grin on her face, "Ooohh, you look beautiful!"

Ruby groans as she looks distressed in her red dress with black lace, belt, and pumps and tries to maintain her balance as she walks to the podium, much to her laughing sister's amusement, "Can we have a serious talk about how Weiss fights in these?"

Meanwhile outside, Sun is seen walking around and wearing a new black jacket now closed up with a white tie hung around his neck, which he proceeds to fight with before going inside, "Stupid... dumb... neck trap!"

Blake soon comes up to Sun as she views him struggling with his tie, "I knew you'd look better in a tie."

Sun stops his struggling and stares at the dark purple dress worn by Blake, now looking like she traded her dark bags for violet eyeshadow, as she steps forward helping him Sun begins to ask for a dance, "Sooo, does this mean we're going... dance tonight? Heh?"

Blake finishes it not long after she shakes her head disheartening Sun, "Technically, though my first dance is spoken for. And here he comes now."

Soon enough Jack and his team soon make their appearance with Penny and Pyrrha interlocking their arms on each side of Jack in their own dresses with Nora and Ren in theirs in the process all walking down.

While the six began to go in with Jack having a nervous expression on his face Neptune soon comes by seeing this as he pats Sun on the back cheering him up, "No worries my dude. There are plenty of fishes in the sea."

Sun could only dramatically cry seeing one of his friends being lucky talking to themselves, "Damn it! How could he be that lucky? Where's the justice of this world!"

Neptune could only sigh at this thinking to himself calmly at the scene seeing everyone enter inside to ballroom, 'Well… at the very least I won't have to dance and look at the cute girls while trying my charm. There's always a bright side to everything.'

With that, the two began to enter inside.

Mentally sighing inside Jack began to mentally cry to himself when he thinks to himself, 'Sigh…. Why this? All that time training with Ren was worthless when I got this item from my chest box reward. Next time curse because Bless isn't really helping me right now…'

While that was happening, Jack was looking at a screen using his reward to get a blessed chest to instead get an odd but useful item his currently wearing.

Jack could only sigh at this as he enters the ballroom.

Inside the ballroom, streamers are hung through glass chandeliers, pink and blue balloons are everywhere, and students in dark suits and bright dresses are stepping with each other to the music between the white-clothed tables.

Blake is spun around by Yang before they curtsey to one another, and Jack comes up and takes his date's hands as Yang gestures for him to do so.

She goes to hang with Ruby and Weiss in a similar white dress as Yang's in the back of the room, watching Blake laugh and enjoy herself before smiling at her team with Yang speaking out, "I told you she would come."

Weiss feeling accomplished by this replied back, "Mission accomplished."

Ruby turned to her teammates and responds nervously while Jack switches to Penny, "Soooo, what do we do now?"

Yang proceeds to walk away and do so, with Weiss going in the opposite direction and leaving Ruby behind, "Just have fun! And hopefully, land a dance after Penny. I want to see if Jackie boy can move~"

Ruby shouts after Yang upon receiving no answer, she waddles around in her painful footwear, "Does that mean I can change out of these stupid things and into my hood now? Stupid lady stilts!"

Ozpin soon makes his presence known talking to Ruby surprising her, "Not enjoying yourself?"

Ruby is surprised to see the headmaster step up by her side, but shakes her head and laughs, "Oh, no, everything's fine! I'm just not much of a fancy pantsy... dancey girl."

Ozpin responds to Ruby giving some friendly advice to his student, "Well, you can't spend your whole life on the battlefield, even if you may want to."

Ruby crosses her arms, looking annoyed while she looks at the dance floor with Jack dancing with Weiss next, "Yeah, that lesson's been floating around a lot lately… and a lot of stuff…"

Ozpin stares out at the dancing couples with Jack soon giving a hand to Yang on the dance floor with Yang being bold in her dancing, "If you think about it, fighting and dancing aren't so different. Two partners interlocked, although one wrong move in the ballroom merely leads to a swollen foot."

Ruby looked down at her own feet with a frown expression looking back at Jack dancing excellently, "Or a twisted ankle… or… simply don't know how to dance."

Ozpin glances at Ruby looking at Jack dancing with his new girlfriends with him smirking trying to give Ruby confidence to go ahead, "It's not every day that friends are able to come together like this. Time has a way of testing our bonds, but it's nights like these that can help keep them stronger than ever. Nights like these are ones we'll never forget. So, you better go ahead and ask."

Ruby smiles at the words of wisdom but turns her head and began to move towards the refreshments table.

When the dance with Weiss ended Jack then proceeded to go over to Pyrrha asking with a cheerful smile on his face giving his hand to her, "Eh, a promise is a promise. Now do you wanna stand there beautiful girl or do you wanna dance?"

At this Pyrrha laughs a bit taking Jack's hand seeing how corny he was to her, "Pfft… Hahaha! I would love to dance."

Taking the moment, the two began to dance with each other elegantly with each other with Jack talking to Pyrrha, "Man… I have to admit dancing with multiple girls is something I haven't gotten used to. But… I can't help but make you guys sad if I deny you the chance. Is… do you think, I'm doing things correctly with everyone?"

Pyrrha danced around hearing Jack's doubts still clear in his mind about having multiple relationships she placed her hand on Jack's face catching his attention, "Jack… you really have a kind heart. And that's what probably the others like about you. You don't care what race they are and fiercely fight to get their friends no matter what. I think you are doing it right."

Moving around slowly dancing around and hearing Pyrrha's words he glanced his silver eyes away from contact unsure of Pyrrha's words, "But why me? Not to sound rude or ungrateful to you all. Penny, Ruby, Yang, Blake, Weiss, and you Pyrrha? Why do you all agree to share me instead of keeping me as one? I know Ruby's reason easily is just I won't become lonely if something were to happen, I can't help I really deserve you all. I think you all can get someone better than – "

*Che*

Suddenly surprised by a kiss making Jack's eyes widen Pyrrha using her mouth and tongue as she began to use her arms to wrap around Jack's neck.

Many witnesses were shocked by this and clearly hear for those who are Faunus was surprised to hear so many girls willing to be with him but more shocked seeing the 'Invincible Girl' Pyrrha Nikos kissing Jack in front of the public.

Many professors and headmasters seeing this could only shake their heads reminding them of their time at dances.

When the kiss ended with a small trail of saliva ended with their using tongue with Jack was shocked by her eyes shining brightly into the night with her hands touching Jack's while he still proceeded with what happened.

When Jack was done processing glancing at Pyrrha she started to be a bit bold following her mother's advice while explaining why she fell for Jack as well as thanks for him being there for her placing her head to his chest, "I've been blessed with incredible talents and opportunities. I'm constantly surrounded by love and praise, but when you're placed on a pedestal like that for so long, you become separated from the people that put you there in the first place. Everyone assumes I'm too good for them. That I'm on a level they simply can't attain. It's become impossible to form any sort of meaningful relationship with people…. Till I met you."

Next, she soon glances her eyes and face close to Jack memorized by Pyrrha's face close to his own while she smiles beautifully her reason for him, "That's what I like about you. When we met, you didn't even know my name. You treated me just like anyone else. And thanks to you, I've made friendships that will last a lifetime…. You would save your friends, brave, brash, arrogant, hypocritical, protective… and very kind."

When they were dancing around leaving everyone stunned seeing their dancing style getting everyone's attention, "I guess, you're the kind of guy here with me. Someone who just saw me for me, and someone that I fell in love with."
