Waking up from sleeping in my bed I open my eyes to see Ruby sleeping face with me still hugging her from last night.
And seeing her arms wrapping around me I couldn't help but smile trying to get the sleeping kid awake, "Come on Ruby… we have to get up or else I won't cook you breakfast."
*WOOSH*
"I'm up! I'm up!"
Laughing lightly seeing Ruby waking up for the promise of me cooking her some food I couldn't help but find that adorable.
Soon Ruby turns around and realizes that we slept in the same bed blushing but soon calms down looking at her body questioning me, "Jack… you didn't do anything to me while I'm asleep right?"
Acting like an accused victim in this case I began to act it out getting Ruby to groan at my behavior, "Egads! Why how could you assume such a thing? The only thing was to hug you when you cried in your sleep. I should be the one asking you were the one to assault my body dear Ruby Rose!"

At this, we both bickered back and forth like children but it was to help out what happened yesterday giving us a good mood again.
That we both left out of our room together while I was going to create some breakfast for us to enjoy.
Ruby was holding my hands getting back to the topic of yesterday with her face still downcast about Summer memories, "So Jack… what exactly are we going to do now… we know Salem exists and I can't help but feel like we have to do something about her…. How do we beat her…"

Bonking Ruby on the head for such a stupid question I replied with another to her with an annoyed tone, "Ruby… I love you as a girlfriend but what you just said was really stupid. The question isn't if we can beat her because we can't. If so what can do around it is the real question."
Getting a bit angry at that she pouts her head before replying to me with a frown on her face to me, "Ugh… if we can't beat her or kill her… what can we do? She's immortal. Nothing we do will probably be enough. And even if we can… she has hordes of Grimm something we can't do unless we get through them to her…"
Wagging my finger at Ruby with a mischievous grin on my face I replied to her as her cute silver eyes follows, "No. Nien. Niet. Ruby if we can't kill or beat her… then the next best plan is sealing her away."
These Ruby eyes widen at this while I rub my chin on the how process thinking brightly to her my idea, "While I have no idea on the how part it's certainly possible right? We can think of how later for now though…"
*GRUMBLE*
Hearing a grumbling hungry Ruby from her stomach I pat at her cheeks flushing in embarrassment as I respond to her, "I have to feed my cute girlfriend some of her boyfriend's yummy food."
Ruby could only turn away shyly away while we both walked down the halls…

Immediately outside my mom's room, I was still embarrassed and hot kissing Jack like that with my tongue.
I thought it would just a quick thanks for what's he had done but I didn't know he… was so aggressive in his kissing…

First I have to go meet up with my mom. Do not think about that I wouldn't want to miss this chance to do so either.
But also, I have to think how our relationship goes out after this though… I mean I don't mean to be rude or anything, but I just can't believe he was the one to ask me out on that date yesterday but…
Where in my life can I find a guy like him… and where can other girls like him because of his personality…
I mean I can see Weiss liking him and maybe Pyrrha, but she seems a bit nervous to go ahead but… the question is should I allow him to have more than one girl other than me?
Penny doesn't count because she's an android but she seems to be mighty attached to Jack… a good thing she is the last rival I would have to face in getting his heart but…
I don't think I mind him sharing mostly because of what happened to Dad…
Because Dad went through some tough times when he didn't have our moms to help him and was left distraught… and because of Salem after me and the possibility that I might be his only lover might make Jack distraught if-f something were to happen to me he might end up like Dad…
If I were ever gone, I don't want him to be sad like that… or be drunk in sadness if I were to die, I want the person I love to be happy…

Trembling a bit I enter the room seeing my mom with A2 leaving me alone I got close to touching my mom's hair recalling how she lost her body parts so as to not give out my name to Salem to hunt…
Jack managed to heal her to normal I don't know how or why but I don't care… I would've been probably scared seeing my mom in that state but right now… she is what I envision when I was a kid… Gently holding my mom's hand I saw her flinch a bit before she opens her eyes talking to herself as if delusional, "Oh…? Is this another dream…? I guess it's a good dream this time… are you, my daughter? My little rose grew up so well…"
*Hiccup*
Making small hiccups seeing my mom like this holding her hand I replied to her with a soft tone, "Mom… it's me… your little rose… Ruby Rose…"
Her eyes seem to widen when touching me but soon shake it off talking to herself in denial hurting me a bit seeing her like this, "Wha… no… it's just another trick of the mind… but at least this time I can feel like this is how I see my baby – Wait… sniff… what's that smell…"

Coming out from the door was Jack bringing out his heavenly cooking of the smell of freshly baked cookies with cups of milk talking to us, "Finally! Took me a while but I got some fresh cookies!"

Soon coming over my mom looks confused by this with fear on her face before slowly taking one of the cookies and taking a bite.

Like that she started to moan outwardly with a uh… dirty face as I see my mom's lower half expecting her to wet herself but didn't when I heard her talk, "There is no way this a dream! Not even in the deepest part of my mind, I would get to taste something this heavenly in my life! Then that means… Ruby-y… my-y little-e rose…?"
Smiling at this I hug her as I cried out loud seeing she was back to normal crying out to her as she responded with a hug.

I really can't thank you enough for everything you did…
I have to tell Yang, Uncle Qrow, and Dad soon… they need to hear and see this but first this hug…
I miss my mom…
I don't want to lose this warmth ever again.
