Chapter 6: Secure and Contain

Metal had came flying towards the opened field of Wakanda as Wolverine was then flung away from Scarlet as this was no ordinary event of luck, but it was much more. Well to Wolverine's point of view.

"I'm impressed, you've managed to tire out Logan of all people, normally it takes much more strength to do that. Or in my case, magnetic powers." Magneto spoke as he threw some metal scraps towards Scarlet, he made sure they were surrounding her completely before closing his hand. "However, this is one battle you will not win."

"The hell?" Scarlet asked as she felt the metal attach itself to her. "Get this metal off of me!"

Magneto threw one more as it covered Scarlet's mouth, he walked towards her as he smirked. "I'm afraid I can't do that, you see... I want to help you."

Scarlet only glared at him as she couldn't speak due to the metal over her mouth, she noticed two others behind Magneto as she was curious on who they were.

"Saber tooth." Wolverine growled as he got to his feet. "Just what do you plan on doing with her Magneto? Charles wants her alive." His claws were pushed back into his knuckles as Magneto used his powers to lift Wolverine off the ground.

"I want you to send my dear friend a message Logan." Magneto said as he moved Wolverine closer to him. "Tell him, if he wants to read her mind. He'll have to go through hell to get to her." He then flung Wolverine quickly as the mutant was sent flying through some trees as the lava still bubbled and spewed up from the ground. "Saber tooth... Juggernaut. Deal with the rest of them, I'm taking my prize back to the hide out."

The Nightmare clones watched as they were about to rush forward to help Scarlet out, but Saber tooth leaped forward and clawed at the clones. In which made them vanish into thin air, Juggernaut ran towards Bruce, Deadpool and Black Cat as he swung his fist into their sides sending them skidding across the ground.

"Ow, that hurt... and my ribs are officially cracked." Deadpool said as he sighed. "Nice one..."

Bruce gagged as he spat up blood. "I need to find a way... to get back to turning into Hulk... this is seriously big trouble for me.."

Black Cat hit a tree hard as she stumbled to her feet, but fell face first onto the ground. "Damn it..."

Magneto took Scarlet back to his hide out as he threw her into a room that looked like it was straight from a metal asylum, the walls were covered in white tile and soundproofing foam, the floor was also white and the light above her was flickering a bit. Scarlet was still wrapped up in metal as she watched Magneto leave the room, before stopping half way.

"You won't be able to break free, even if you do. You'll have a hard time escaping this place." Magneto said as he closed the door behind him and walked off.

Scarlet growled under her breath, despite the metal gag over her mouth. She needed to figure out a way to get the metal bindings off of her, even if she were to somehow manage to break her bones and try to slither out from the bindings. It wouldn't be any help, she closed her eyes as she sat on the cold floor, pondering and planning of an escape.

Outside the room, Mystique stood guard as the blue skinned mutant smirked. "Seems like she gave up all hope, even if she does try to escape. It won't be pretty for her, not one bit." She closed her eyes as she leaned against the wall near the door. Little did she know, Scarlet was indeed planning on something.

Scarlet opened her eyes slowly, her eyes glowed a crimson red. She popped both of her shoulders out of place as her arms became like jelly, she hadn't fully broken her body to escape the binds. But this was something she knew would likely cause some problems, but none the less she did it. At first she was thinking of moving herself closer to the door so she could grab Mystique's neck from behind, but another idea came to her.

The Grimm girl ripped her own right arm off as a Grimm arm grew in place of it, Scarlet smirked as she threw her Grimm arm forward as she grabbed Mystique by the neck. She still couldn't speak thanks to the metal gag over her mouth, she needed to figure out how to slip out from the bindings. But first things first, killing the blue mutant.

Mystique gagged as she felt Scarlet's Grimm hand crushing her wind pipes. She tried to bite at the black hand but Scarlet's grip got tighter and tighter, which caused Mystique to slowly foam at the mouth as her eyes were starting to roll into the back of her head.

Scarlet grinned as she watched menacingly, she had let go of Mystique's neck as she saw her lifeless body fall down.

As Mystique's body fell, Scarlet used the sharpened nail on her Grimm hand to unlock the door. The only downside was, she still needed to break free from the bindings. But how? She stood there in the cell as the door was opened, an idea sparked in her head as she started jumping towards the door. Once she reached the door, she fell over onto her back as she pushed herself out of the cell.

Right as Scarlet came out of her cell, Juggernaut came around the corner and saw Scarlet on the floor still in her metal binding. It didn't seem like he cared that she was still tightly secured, he charged towards her and kicked her hard, the metal started to crack from the kick the towering brute did to Scarlet. Not only that, but Scarlet's rib cage shattered and broke.

"Trying to escape? Let me teach you a thing or two about that." Juggernaut said as he saw Scarlet hit the wall. He charged towards her again as he kicked her once more and rammed his shoulder against her, busting through the wall. The metal continues to break as Juggernaut then grabs Scarlet's arms and rips them off, he tosses her arms aside as he lifts her up and bashes his head against hers. "No one can beat me, not even you!"

Scarlet hit the ground hard as there was a snap followed by a sound of shattering. The metal binds holding her had shattered, which proved to be helpful for her. The Grimm girl stood up, as her body healed itself her arms had grown back as well. Except that her arms were Grimm arms, a grin spread across Scarlet's face as she looked at the brute. "Mmhmm, you say that now. But I will be your downfall."

Juggernaut gritted his teeth as he ran towards Scarlet. He swung his massive fist at Scarlet, he missed by a long shot as the Grimm girl jumped over his fist and since she didn't have Black Rose on hand, she stabbed her thumbs into the towering brutes eyes.

"Gahh! You little!" Juggernaut said as he was now blind and couldn't see anything. Blood dripped from his eye sockets as he stumbled around.

Scarlet was silent as she sneaked off to find Black Rose, she didn't know where exactly her scythe was at. But she could smell Saber-Tooth coming in her direction, she turned the corner of the hall as she checked each room. Eventually she stumbled across the room that had her scythe in it, bad news was, it was highly guarded by human sized sentinels. Not to be mistaken for the giant ones set to contain mutants, Scarlet smirked as she had an idea.

The Grimm girl bashed her way into the room as the sentinels aimed at her, laser sights all on her like the Predator having its sights on a fresh kill. This alerted Saber-Tooth as the mutant came towards the room, of course since he had a healing factor like she did. It only made it seem harder for Scarlet to plan on killing Saber-Tooth. But that would be left for the sentinels, the Grimm girl had a very clever idea.

By the time Saber-Tooth reached the room, he noticed the scythe was gone. "She broke out! Where is she?!" He snarled as the sentinels turned their attention to the mutant, Scarlet stood behind him as she snickered.

"Ara Ara, are you looking for me?" Scarlet asked as she stayed behind him as she turned her head to the side. Once she had done that, the sentinels opened fire on Saber-Tooth. Which kicked in his healing ability, however. This was also a opening for Scarlet as well, the Grimm girl spun around as she stabbed Black Rose through his chest and yanked it out.

Saber-Tooth coughed up blood but grinned as his body was healing again, Scarlet noticed as she sliced and stabbed at him more. She then grabbed his beating heart as she snickers, Saber-Tooth felt his heart being grabbed. "W-Wait, please don't kill me. I can help you, what's your payment just name it and I'll be sure to give it."

Scarlet tilted her head as she wasn't falling for his trap, she knew if she pulled her hand out and let him live. He'd only go warn the others, instead she squeezed on his heart and slowly felt the beating stop. "I'm sorry, but I don't makes deals with anyone."

With that said and done, Scarlet yanked Saber-Tooth's heart out and shoved it down his throat. After she did that, Juggernaut came crashing through the walls still blind from being stabbed in the eyes. "I'll make you pay!"

Scarlet jumped out of the way as she snickered and laughed. She knew his armor couldn't be penetrated but his arms on the other hand could be, Scarlet slid between his legs as she swung Black Rose down onto his left arm as hard as she could. "I'll be taking this arm of yours!"

Scarlet had killed almost every mutant that worked for or with Magneto, all except for him. Magneto had one again put a metal bind on Scarlet as he began tossing her around like a rag doll. "You've killed everyone here. But yet, you've forgotten about me. Not that it matters right now, but I know you of all people won't survive the boiling magma below us."

Scarlet glared at him as she had an idea. But before she could do anything, Magneto had let go of her. She fell straight into the river of lava as the metal started melting off of her, which was part of her idea. Once half of it was melted, she stopped time and peeled at the melted metal before freeing herself. Once she was free she glanced around for a brief moment.

Scarlet flew out as she decided to stand behind Magneto, she blinked allowing time to resume. Magneto peered down to the lava as he watched the metal sink and melt, he smirked but when he stood back up. Scarlet had her fist resting against the side of his helmet. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip your head off."

"So, you've managed to escape again?" Magneto asked as he stood still, he closed his eyes for a moment as his smirk faded. "If you truly want to know, then perhaps I should be the one who tells you instead. Of course, you can believe me or not... That is entirely up to you." He slowly turned around as he looked at Scarlet after he opened his eyes. "Loki is working with Queen, and he was using you as his puppet for his own goals."

Scarlet was finding that hard to believe, but she took this moment to go over everything that had happened before she was back to her normal self. "Tch." She clinched her fist as she knew who to go after next. But before her or Magneto could make the slightest moves, Queen appeared behind the mutant and stabbed him.

"Oh dear, looks like you spoiled the fun." Queen said with a grin on her face. "Yes, Loki is working for me. It would've been much easier to get rid of you, if Magneto here didn't spill the beans. But it seems he did anyway." She yanked her sword out from Magneto's back as she looked at Scarlet. "You were so close, so very close into putting the puzzle together without any help. Yet everything was ruined, just by what was said."

Magneto coughed up blood as he turned his head to the side. "Y...You won't, get away with this..."

Queen scoffed as she pointed her musket at his head and pulled the trigger, Scarlet watched for a moment as she dashed towards Queen and swung Black Rose at her. She missed as Queen vanished into another tear in space and time, which soon swallowed Scarlet up. "Shit, now where did she go? And where am I being taken to this time?"

Queen appeared behind Loki after a while, mainly giving Scarlet the slip up of going somewhere she wasn't. "Looks like your plans for taking over as king of Asgard won't come true anytime soon Loki, Magneto spoiled the fun. Anyway, I should get going. The next place Scarlet is going to... well, let's just say she'll have more fun than she did here."

Loki was about to say something, but before he could. Queen was already gone, he glanced around for a moment looking to see where she could've gone, but he shrugged it off. "Oh well, looks like I need to finish what Scarlet started then."
