Normal life... or is it ?

"Ughhh..."

The annoyed grunt of a man can be heard as he turned to the phone to look at who called him at this hour

looking at his phone for a second his annoyed expression turned serious as he quickly stood up from the bed and wore his close

before leaving he looked at the women in bed as he hesitated for a second before writing his phone number before leaving

'Well, yesterday was fun…..'

Leaving the hotel he found a military vehicle waiting for him so he jumped in without hesitation

In his way, to the military base, the man couldn't help but think about how different his life would have been if he was from a different family

He was from a huge military family as there was a rule that each member of the family had to enrol for at least for 5 years before going back to manage the family business which he thought was weird at the time

But he had been in the military for 9 long years, his father had a similar choice when he was his age and since he (the MC) was young his father expected the same of him for some reason so he was trained in different and multiple forms of combat as soon as his body allowed him to

But other than that his life was normal as he went to the same school as normal people did, he was confused as he was expecting to be sent to a military school as there was a number of people from his generation in the family that did

His confusion didn't distract him for long as he focused on studying and living a normal life, well relatively normal as for some reason his father started focusing on swordsmanship which was weird as this was an era where guns were the dominant force but he didn't complain as wielding swords felt weirdly comfortable for some reason

He also loved reading fantasy stories and watching anime as a way to relax as he really needed it

His normal life which composed of going to school, meeting friends, going out with his girlfriend sometimes and training came to an abrupt end after graduating high-school

At that time he understood all his father's actions and he later came to thank him for it even in his sleep...
