Mu Jiang looked at the elder and pressed his lips, before massaging his temple, " Grandpa Yang, I see you are fit and fine."

Yang Heng pointed his finger towards Mu Jiang and turned to look at Yang Ling and angrily, " He is cursing me to die!"

Yang Ling frowned and turned to Mu Jiang before she tried to calm the old man. Mu Jiang was stupefied, 'He just asked his wellbeing and meant nothing more than that, what did her look mean? ' he looked at Yang Heng who was also looking at him, he saw the satisfaction in the old man's eyes and just knew....'That old petty man'.😓

Mu Jiang kept his smile and walked over and sat beside Yang Heng, "Elder Yang, I was not cursing you at all. How can I do that?.., I know you are still angry with me bu..but can't you forgive me, please."

Yang Heng glared at Mu Jiang before asking Yang Ling, " What are you doing in his apartment?"

Yang Ling froze hearing her grandpa and hurriedly dug for an excuse, biting her lips she said, " I....I drunk a lot last night and Mr. Mu was kind enough to look after me."

Yang Heng raised his eyebrows and snorted, " Really now...what a gentleman, then why didn't he take you back to your apartment?"

Yang Ling blurred out without thinking, " He doesn't know my apartment."

Yang Heng looked at Yang Ling and said without batting an eyelid, "He knew Yang Mansion." Yang Ling felt like dying right now, she looked at Mu Jiang from the corner of her eye and narrowed her eyes at him silently warning him.

Mu Jiang pressed his lips when he saw her warning, "Elder Yang it was so late, I didn't want to disturb you, so I brought her here. I hope you will forgive me."

Yang Ling gave him thumps up in her heart ' Awesome! ' but her grandpa was grinding his teeth in anger and gave a hmph.

Mu Jiang then turned to Yang Ling and told her to get some tea for her grandpa, when Yang Ling went to the kitchen then...Mu Jiang slowly turned towards Yang Heng and narrowed his black eyes, even Yang Heng looked back at him with the same gaze.

"Old man, what do you plan on achieving hmm?"😈

Yang Heng slapped his leg and said, " I knew it, how can you be so nice towards me...it seems you are just acting in front of my granddaughter." Mu Jiang smiled at him before leaning on to the sofa. 😤

"Let me ask you, what are you scheming on doing to my precious baby hmmm? "

"I plan on making her mine!"

Elder Yang was surprised by his response which sounded more like a declaration where the emperor would pick a woman to join his harem."I won't agree."

Mu Jiang gave him a look before opening his lips, " I didn't ask your permission old man"

Yang Heng closed the distance between them and said with a half-smile, "I will see how you will do it without my permission...and also should I remind you how you humiliated my baby girl and me when I asked your hand in marriage for her hmm? Will she forgive you for that..", saying that he got up and called out, "Little baby let's go!"😈

Mu Jiang smile froze and looked at the old man with a cold gaze.👿

Yang Ling came from the kitchen with tea but after hearing Yang Heng she didn't think much and just took the bag from the sofa which has new clothes for her and went to change. After changing they walked out of the apartment.

Yang Heng turned before entering the elevator, " Boy, thank you for protecting my girl and see you soon!" He hugged Mu Jiang and patted his back before whispering in his ear, " If you want her, you have to go through me!"😏

Mu Jiang looked at they got into the elevator and felt like crying when he thought about the old man's words. ' Should he actually go through him to get his girl, No...No way'😭.
