40. Yang Min and Mu Jiang

Yang Mansion

Yang Min carried his sister into her bedroom. Meanwhile, Mu Jiang looked around the mansion, it was his first time coming here.

Elder Yang didn't like it when people come to his house and bother him, so he never celebrated and festivals or occasions in the Yang Mansion.

" Please have a seat, Young Sir " The butler Lu said before he started preparing the tea.

Mu Jiang nodded his head and sat on the couch, from the corner of his eye he saw Yang Min coming down. Slowly the fragrance of tea filled the hall. Both of them sat quietly till the tea is served.

Butler Lu served the tea to them and quietly waved his hand to the servants leaving both of them alone.

Yang Min slowly sipped his tea while observing Mu Jiang from the corner of his eye. His eye twitched for every detail he noticed. ' Hmph, spoiled brat how dare he rejects my sister.'😤💢

Mu Jiang who didn't know what is going on in Yang Min's brain is having a hard time for the first time in his life. From the time he saw Yang Min he is constantly trying to maintain a good image to gain his support since he can't trust Grandpa Yang he might as well gain the support of Young Yang. He was very confident in his plan and himself.😎

Yang Min is good at observing discreetly but this can't escape Mu Jiang's eyes, he also saw Yang Min's every twitch of the eye and eyebrows and it only made him more restless.😓😣

Clearing his throat Mu Jiang kept the empty cup on the table and started talking about business to reduce the awkward silence and to gain more brownie points.

Yang Ling also felt the awkward silence very uncomfortable, so when Mu Jiang started talking about business he also joined. After some time Mu Jiang took his leave, successfully making an appointment with Min regarding business. ' Tiny steps ' he thought.

Min bid him goodbye at the entrance, as he saw Mu Jiang's car going far away he hell into deep thought. Butler Lu saw his Young Master standing in cold at the entrance and called him, " Young Master, it's cold outside come in."

Min came out of his thoughts and walked into the mansion keeping his thoughts to himself.

After dinner, Min worked till late at night. Just when he was going to bed his phone rang. He frowned and glanced at his phone screen, looking at the number he knew who it was, taking a deep breath he answered the call.

Caller:"...."

Min: "..." 😶

Caller: " ..."

Min: " ..."🤨

Caller: "..."

Shaking his head Min said, " You know, you have to start talking someday, or else I will stop answering your call."😒

Caller: " !!!!!!"👀

*Beep beep*

Seeing that the other person ended the call again Min pressed his lips and went to bed. Unknown to him there was a smile on his face.

On the second floor of a brightly lit palace, a girl held her phone to her chest with a silly grin on her face. Flipping on her back, she looked out of the floor to ceiling windows that are right in front of her bed.

" Don't worry if you stop answering my calls then I will fly to you and land in your arms." Saying this she giggled to herself.🕊

She hugged her pillow imagining it as him and slowly drifted into her dreamland.
