"Soon" That's all he could say to the ever-gossiping Carlos.

"Let me give you an advice"

"..."Seeing no comment from Alex and just his glares targeted at him, he continued.

"Chill man...You could just give her a call, since you didn't take advantage of her it's possible her view had changed about you and the marriage would be 75% possible"

"..." Now Carlos was done talking and didn't get a word or reaction from Alexander making him pissed off, Of course he knew the words he said would be taken into consideration but couldn't this arrogant man reply or at most take it to consideration.

"I'm off" He said to no one in particular since he expected no reaction from the man on the seat once again, he was determined to go out when he heard his voice.

"I can't call her first" Alexander said and gave him a reaction that he was waiting for him to leave .

"Was he mad?" His ego was always something Carlos knew the great President Yang cherished but he was no fool to believe his words.

"I see" Carlos replied as he left the office but not after winking at him.

It was indeed a tiring day,Mia laid on the bed blushing to herself while remembering the incidence that had transpired earlier.Her phone dinged and she picked it up to see an unknown number.

"Meet me at....."The phone phone beeped signalling the ending of the call. Mia had pressed the end button, hearing Alexander Yang voice, she was in no mood to talk to him,not when their make-out session keep on playing in her head.

The phone kept ringing and she ignored it again thinking it was Alexander,but when the phone didn't stop dinging,she picked it up to realised it her perceptions was wrong, it was her manager.

She picked up the call hurriedly,and was cut short by her raging manager;

"Ain't you done sitting at home"he mustered in annoyance,making Mia brows knit in confusion as she wondered what he meant."I thought I was on vacation" She said questionly "Yes and it's over, you have to start working two days from now"Her manager replied curtly. Judging by the way he spoke to her, it seemed to her that he had being scolded by the higher-ups.

Mia sighed and replied to him with an okay, before her manager ended the call.

She smiled as she knew the so called vacation was like a punishment from the devil.

Now she was called back to work.

"He must have been the one to call off the vacation " she thought as she decided to call him but decided against it as she thought of meeting him personally. she pulled out a dress to wear the next day.

***The next day

Mia got up early and did her chores,she decided to change her room and make it more full of life she was indeed excited to resume the next day.

It was now noon.

She finished her work and headed to the Xander Corporation.

She was really happy as she was going to resume work the next day."Her boring life would be put to a pause".She muttered under her breath. Reaching Xander's Corporation she breathe a sigh of nervousness.She entered into the elevator.

"I thought you hated him" Her subconscious mocked me.

"Just be quiet " She shouted aloud as the people in the elevator gave her an expression of "This lady has gone crazy". She gave a cough of awkwardness.

Getting out of the elevator and taking steps to President Yang office when she heard the secretary voice.

"Miss,who are you looking for?"The secretary asked.

"I have an important thing to discuss with President Yang"She said as she was answered by the burning glares of the secretary who seemed to have a thing for the baby.

"Miss..Do you have an appointment with him?"

"Ehmm..No"

"Miss, you have to have an appointment with him to see him as his schedules are arranged with these appointments "

"Could you ca...." She wasn't able to complete her statement when the telephone dinged

"Secretary Celine here"

"Send her in" The domineering voice of President Yang was heard, it seems he had been watching the footage as he seldom does that when he was. less occupied.

"Yes Sir" The Secretary said before the call met it's abrupt end.

"Miss,there is his office"She said pointing to a door in particular.

"Oh...Thanks"She said before she went into his office.

**President Yang's Cabin

"Why are you here?"President Yang voice resounded

"E..eh...I came to say Thanks"

"For not taking advantage of your state? or for repeatedly saving you? or for being called back to work?"

"All" she said as she bit her lower lip,she had been excited throughout today but meeting him made her mood sullen,he didn't have even a little bit of manners that she felt sorry for his mother for giving birth to a scumbag called a son.

"I see" He said as he took large strides to her making her self conscious as she still stood rooted in her place.

He soon reached her as he bent his face towards her,making his face now an inch from her,the movement from both ends could lead to unwanted happening.

She could feel his breath on her face as the faint vanilla smell of tobacco played around her nostrils as the sudden closeness brought the memories of their make-out session

It was no doubt she was affected by his closeness, his breath and his scent was enough for her to go off-head.
