FULFILL MY WISH

"Gerald? Gerald open your eyes. Gerald?"

A voice echoed far away, but that was the only sound that reached his brain. He felt the light shakes of his shoulder before he forced his eyes open.

It felt exhausting, yet he managed to open his eyes, but the blurry images clouded his vision. Gerald blinked multiple times before he finally could see clearly.

Sylvia's worry-struck face stared back at him, thousands of doubts swirling in her dark orbs.

"Sylvia?!"

His weak whisper washed relief over her, and she nodded her head.

"Yes, it's me, Gerald. Are you... are you okay?" She asked, helping him to straighten up.

Gerald didn't realise when he passed out beside Theodora after Filch left and how much time had passed since then.

He slowly nodded his head, but when Sylvia's eyes darted to the still unconscious woman beside him, all the reality came like a tsunami hitting him mercilessly, damaging the coast of his peace.
