Alpha's Ball: Part 6

As I went to get the program, a pang shot through my chest as I noticed Nyx coming onto Alaric. Bella, ever perceptive, talked me down and urged me to watch, assuring me that Alaric wouldn't allow any nonsense. And she was right. When Tasha intervened, my heart swelled with gratitude. I smiled at Bella fondly, feeling overwhelmed by her kindness.

"Thank you." I said softly, my voice filled with sincerity.

Bella looked at me with surprise, and I could see the gratitude in her eyes. I took a deep breath, knowing I needed to tell her the truth.

"You saved my life." I confessed, my voice barely above a whisper. "When I was asleep, I was dying. You discovered the healing capabilities of the hot springs, and you saved me." I paused, letting the weight of my words sink in.

Bella was caught off guard, her eyes widening in disbelief.
