Fair Enough

Bella's Pov.

We were at the park so I went to get some sandy for them before they finished the ride they were on but I got the shock of my life

I don't say anything. I mean what can I say?,So I did the only the thing I could do...stare at him with my mouth wide open.He stares,at me with a strange look on his face.He is amused? He finds me-this funny?

Of course he has no idea what this is so obviously he would find this funny. Please let this be a dream,a sick dream that is going to end anytime soon.

"You ok amor", amor? He just called me amor.Hunter called ME amor.

Yup,this is definitely a dream, wake up wake up. I pinch myself but I'm still in this nightmare.

Hunter sees me pinching myself and he furrows his eye brows but the amused look doesn't drop,"MAMA that was so much fun!!!!"my son wrapping his arm around one of my legs.

Hunter looks down to Herold and his face goes blank. Damn it,what if he realises that Herold is his son? What if he tries to take them away from me? Damn it to hell!

Hunter back at me,his face doesn't expose anything.I have no idea what he's thinking.Before I could even say anything else, Paloma runs up to me and hugs my other leg.

"That was awesome mummy, Herold won but I got third place"she says as she and Herold pull away.

"Yeah mama,I won!" Herold cheers.,I didn't reply to my children, I just looked at my mate whilst he looked at our daughter.

I watch as his eyes soften, Herold and Paloma notice the big man and while my daughter hugs my leg tighter and almost hides herself.

Herold bluntly asks, hunter who he is.,To which hunter replies"I'm the Alpha King ",My son gasps and whispers "cool".

"My mum is an Alpha and Uncle Lucas is an Alpha too"Herold says.

"I know that buddy. Now tell me your name" He bends his knee to be at the same level

"Herold Sebastian",I suck in a breath.Fuck he said my surname.Please don't notice.Please please don't say anything.

I saw Calvin's eyes flash to mine, I couldn't look at him because I'm afraid for it to be true.

He can't know it's me, no ,no and no, From the corner of my eyes I saw him clench his jaw.He is pissed, his stare is burning my skin and I swallow the lump in my throat trying hard to breath normally because this just can't be happening.

Its like I can't catch a break, I could feel his tension,for some reason it felt like it was sucking the whole air.,"My name is Paloma"I hear my daughter whisper,loud enough for hunter to hear.

Hunter's tension eases as he takes in my daughter who came out from her hidingplace.,"That's a nice name sweetie.I'm Hunter ",She runs up to him and hugs him.

Hugs him right in front of me and I almost sob.Damnit to hell, Hunter tenses for second before he hugs her back.

"Now let's have some fun!"my son cheers.He pulls my hands so I was forced to movewith him i look over my shoulder's to see Hunter carrying my daughter.

She is smiling big, bigger than I ever seen. You see, my son Herold is social and excepts everyone and anyone to like him.My daughter is a little gun shy. She's sassy as hell but it takes her a little while to warm up to people, especially males.

So it surprises me that she's behaving like this with hunter ,maybe she senses that's her father.

We go to the ride, Herold and Paloma rush in, I give the tickets I have.

It's 5 minutes but I know that the twins are going to just love it because I did when I was younger so I have double the amount to double their time.

The five minutes or so was fine, great to even watch the twins laugh and smile.

Hunter keeps mouth shut,probably because he too watching them with a smile of his own.

Its going great until.

"They don't know who their father is do they," They know a bit hunter I told them as much looking up at him.

His face softens.,"Does Paige know?","Off course"I whisper looking away.

He keeps staring so my head snaps to his"What?"I asks confused as hell.

"Jonathan is the father.You must have got,et, Umm what?,"What?"I ask again.

"Fucking shit "he mutters."I can't believe this ,"No wonder Jonathan vwas giving him me a hard time.,Sorry?

Is it me or does he think that Jonathan is their father to be fair..it makes sense.

"Hunter..trust me yeah? I won't lie about this.Not about this.",Before he could even say anything more, Herold and Paloma come back.,"Mama I'm tired now"Herold says.

They missed their nap time because Paige was around and they wanted to spend sometime with her, also they were too excited about going to the fair that they couldn't just sleep.

"Okay baby,we eat then we go Okay?", Paloma comes between hunter and I and holds,each of our hands, Herold goes to my otherbside and only holds mine.

We find a booth that sells pizza so I bought them slice each...well I tried to buy them a huge slice but Hunter did instead.

We all quietly munch on our slices after we found a bench table. I could feel hunter's eyes,on me but me being the coward that I am i didn't look up at him.

After the kids finish their slices and Herold finishing the rest of mine.They always eats like a horse.

We get up to leave.,We are walking in silence both I, hunter, herold and Paloma between us.

Herold let's go of my hands and puts his hands up to hunter asking him to pick him up.

Hunter gives me a small smile before letting go of Paloma's hands and picking up Herold.

He tucks him in one arm, herold places his head on hunter's big,strong, delicious s houlders and I take in a breath because that simple gesture.

That was themost beautiful thing I have ever seen and I could feel my eyes getting teary.

Damn it to hell! Hunter sees this and sends me a small smile. I quickly return one of my own and look away.

"Mummy." Paloma says gesturing for me to pick her up to so I do.She rubs her eyes and then leans towards my face,slaps me with a kiss then places her face to my shoulders and falls asleep.

When we get to my apartment, I take off their jackets which hunter helps.We place them in their beds,switch off the lights and turn on the night light before walking out and closing the door.

"You wanna talk?"he asks softly.,"Not really"I answer in the same soft tone.,"Fair enough.I should get going","Yeah",Neither of us move.

Just stare at each other, trying to read each other.I got nothing and I'm guessing Hunter got nothing too because he just nods and walks out.

Not before saying,"Lock after me amor " that word again, amor Damn it to hell.Why do I miss it so much?
