1.18 Problems Ahead

While Wei Guiyin was freaking out by nothing, her useless brother was in a meeting with other minor owners of Yin corporation. They were planing in sabotaging the current project that Wei Guiyin was in charge of which would make her look bad in front of the majoritarian actionists which would lead them to change the CEO and them make him, Wei Fuhong, the most appropriate candidate. Well, at least that is what he thinks, but let's not forget that he only has face and not brain, so all the plan was created by the minor owners and were "suggested" to him.

"I don't know what she had in her mind. I, as the eldest son, should be the CEO of the company and not her. She should be prepared to carry the children of her husband not be involved in the business world" said Wei Fuhong, and he heard supporting comments from the other participant in there, but what he didn't know was that he was being used, so they could gain a higher position in the company. Obviously, this plan has so many flaws that even Moon did not bother to tell Wei Guiyin who is currently still trying to convince herself that she did not feel anything with what happened in that hotel room.

And as for the way that they plan to mess the projects is a really simple but tricky way. They planned to mess up the numbers of the budget. The numbers will be the same, but they will be assigned to different things. By doing this the probability of this being found out gets reduced, but the effect of this could potentially destroy the project and even bring losses to the entire company.

"Come in"

Without taking her eyes off her monitor Wei Guiyin let one of her secretaries bring the documents that need her signature. The secretary leaves them on her desk, bows, and leaves without saying a word.

Time passes and Wei Guiyin finally finishes to arrange the organigram that the project should follow to obtain high rewards with the minimum effort and to maximize the company income.

She lets out a sight, lays back on her chair, and brings her thumb and index finger to the bridge of her nose. She looks at the clock on the wall, and it marks 12 o'clock.

Wei Guiyin had been working without stop after she could relax a little. She tried to think about work-related material, so she would not think about what had happened between her and Long Chaoda.

She knows too well that there is no future to have a relationship with anyone, and it is not because she will leave to other words, she had read novels in which the MC was followed by their partner, but it was because she herself does not understand what it means to love.

Wei Guiyin in her original world had a normal live, that was not the reason, but she always felt that something was missing or that there was a whole in her heart. If someone where to ask her what she was not satified with, she would not be able to answer since she did not felt particularly bothered by anything.

That is why she is freaking out so much with what happened with Long Chaoda because she actually felt something, but she is not able to understand or name what she is feeling.

While Wei Guiyin was lost in her thoughts, she felt that something climbed on her lap, and when she looked, she found that it was Moon. She extended her hand and began to run her hand thought its fur.

"Moon, what is that I am feeling? I have never felt like this before. It feels weird, and it doesn't let me consentrate in the matters that need my attention"

Wei Guiyin was trully conflicted and for the first time in her live, she did not have a plan of action or of contermeasure.

[Host, Moon would like to be of help when you trully need it, but since Moon is a system, Moon does not really understand human emotions. Moon can give you an account of all the things are happening to your body physically but not mentally. That is still a realm which Moon is not even able to phantom the posibilities.]

Wei Guiyin knew that that was going to be the answer, but still she needed to ask someone since besides Moon she cannot realy on anyone since she doesn't know if they are going to betray her. She doesn't have a family, doesn't have friends, nor loyal people, and the only person she can think is the person in question.

Wei Guiyin finally remembers that she still has some work to be done and returns to it.

When she picks up the document that her secretary had put in her desk hours ago, she only gives it a quick scan before intending to sign it, but before she begins, something catch her attention.

Wei Guiyin opens a cabinet of her desk in which is the budget that she had proposed and compared it with the one that she almost signed, and she lets out a small laught.

"And I thought that I had already got rid of all the unproductice greedy people. How wrong I was. Well, it seems like I still have a lot of work to do, but first of all. I need to get rid of the annoying mosquitoes"
