Chain Reaction

"W-w-what happened?!" Cat said.

As if one explosion wasn't enough, the first explosion triggered a chain of countless explosions that extended from one end of the Plains to the other. The sound was deafening but because of the storm, Cat doubted that Red and the others would hear it since there were occasional huge roars of thunder.

Cat didn't know whether to feel compassion towards the three workers or to feel bad for the person who laid the land mines since it was carpeted too closely to each other. If it weren't, then it wouldn't have caused a chain reaction of explosion after someone triggered a single landmine.

 At least, that's one problem out of the way. There might be more but at least, right? I guess I should head back now. Cat told herself as she decided to just ignore everything that happened. Of course, she would relay everything to Red as soon as she gets back.
