Demarcus was pacing back and forth in one of the luxurious rooms buried in High Rock.
"Jonah, it won't matter if we kill the king now if the king is not losing his mind. Most of the monsters will continue to side with him until we figure out what is going to put him over the edge."
Jonah raised his hand and motioned for Demarcus to calm down, "don't worry brother, I have an idea that will destroy his emotions and mind. Once it does, I'll need you to sneak around and put an end to the young king. Be careful, however, because I can only imagine that the young king has broken through to the behemoth level, and we don't know what his absolute power is."
Demarcus chuckled, "there's no way that it can defeat your absolute power of time. Plus, I have absolute power over temperature. Combined, he stands no chance."
Jonah shook his head, "still, I would be careful. They are absolute powers for a reason. Now, will you follow me? I think we need to go rally the troops."
Demarcus nodded and followed Jonah out of the room. There was a whole castle built into the mountainous High Rock. It took a moment for Jonah and Demarcus to walk through the maze of corridors in the castle.
They opened one door to a large cavern. There hundreds of different monsters from all different levels were together. They cheered when Jonah and Demarcus entered.
Jonah raised his hands to quiet the crowd, "Soon we will celebrate the downfall of the king!" He began yelling out, "the tyranny that has long been held over us will be put to an end, and peace will come at last to the civil war of monsters."
The crowd cheered, and he waited a moment before continuing, "Fight for us! Defeat the king! Long live the Dragon!"
The army of monsters roared, and the ones who could speak the human tongue chanted, "long live the Dragon!"
Jonah and Demarcus left the cheering crowd in the cavern. They walked more around their castle in the mountain, and Demarcus asked, "what happens if we lose?"
Jonah scoffed, "there's no way we would lose fighting together but..." he looked towards the ground in thought, "the king would rule in tyranny. Every monster would be at his beck and call, and there would be no more descendants of the dragon. Our cause lives or dies with us."
Jonah observed one of his clawed hands, "I will not let our legacy be put to an end here."

"Ya know what my biggest dream is Inian?" Burt asked as they were driving across the world towards High Rock.
"What's that?"
"I've wanted to invent automatons for the longest time, but my biggest goal is to create the most life-like robot in the world!"
Inian raised an eyebrow, "oh? How would you accomplish that?"
Burt smiled, "well, you see, it would take complex algorithms and programming so that in any interactive situation the machine would be able to..."
Burt went off on a tangent and Inian began to drone him out. He thought back to all these adventures he's had along the way to get here.
He thought about the change he's made in the world, how he battled Marc, and how he fought a couple descendants. New inventions were made in the world and laughter and crying came from his actions.
'I want to prove that I'm trustworthy once and for all.' He thought.
'I'm ready as I'll ever be.'
