Chapter 146: The Tower's Features
Since you're the only participant to win against an opponent that had the same cultivation level as you, and no participant else has been able to win against the opponent with higher cultivation, you're the winner of the event," Aakesh expressionlessly announced while looking at Brinda, who was surrounded by her family members.
A mix of shocked and excited expressions appeared on Brinda's face after hearing the store owner. She couldn't help but pinch herself to see whether this was a dream or not.
"Congratulations, Brinda! You've done our family a favor by winning this event."
The next moment, she felt a gentle pat on her shoulder and heard an emotional familiar voice. She turned around and saw it was her grandfather. She then looked at her other family members and could see every one of them excited.
The tower gave them a chance to create one of the top organizations of the Primal dimension. It gave them a chance to grow from a pitiful Kingdom to an influential Empire on Visteerna.
"Now, I'll be the first female king of the Bisan Kingdom," She thought in her heart, imagining the value of the tower.
"Come here," Aakesh ignored the reactions of the royal family and other participants and called Brinda forward.
Brinda nodded and stepped forward.
Aakesh snapped his fingers. The next moment, the tower disappeared from the platform, and a miniature model appeared in his hands.
"This is your reward," He said as he handed her the tower.
Brinda, with an excited expression, took it in her hands. Her eyes shined, seeing the majesty and splendor of the tower.
"Since the tower is different from the other rewards I've given, I've to explain its properties," Aakesh said, ignoring Brinda's enthusiasm after holding the tower in her hands.
"For every participant below Nascent Soul, the tower would take 100 ordinary Primal stones for activation. For every participant below Void Forging, it would take 100 top stones. For every participant from Tao Seed to Tao Palace, it would take 100 superior stones. For every Heavenly Monarch or any Immortal, it would take ten supreme stones," Aakesh told Brinda the price of activation.
Since it was in the store, Aakesh didn't charge that much because the system activated the tower, but now that it was leaving the store, Primal stones would be the main factor behind the activation of the store.
Brinda nodded after hearing this since she had expected a price to pay for every activation.
"For every death, you face in the tower, you need to rest for a week to return to your perfect shape of mind. If you die twice without the rest of a week, your consciousness will suffer a permanent attack that may at least take a year or two to heal. If you still continue for the third time, then your consciousness would break down, and it would result in your death," Aakesh then announced the side effects of the dying in the tower.
Brinda had a surprised face since she didn't expect it to be the case. But after thinking about the situation where she could grow without any side effects made no sense to her, so she thought the rule of resting a week after every death made sense.
"Unlike the event, you can select your opponent for the battle in the tower from now on," Aakesh added.
A smile appeared on Brinda's face after hearing Aakesh, but the next moment, the smile froze, hearing what he said next.
"You can choose your opponent from the race of your choosing, but unlike the event, you won't have thousands of races to choose from. You can select five races for your opponents, and then only the opponents of these races would fight against you," Aakesh added, nerfing the tower.
Brinda heaved a disappointed sigh after hearing Aakesh.
Aakesh ignored her reaction and told her to feed the tower a single drop of her blood. Brinda took a deep breath, bit her index finger, and dropped blood on the top of the tower.
The next moment, the blood engulfed the tower.
"Choose five races," Aakesh ordered.
"Now!" Brinda asked with a confused expression.
"Yes, now!" Aakesh expressionlessly responded. Since Brinda's blood would give birth to the soul of the tower, and it was impossible for anyone in her family to make the will of the tower submit to Brinda, so he asked her to choose five races, and then he would make the will of the tower submit to her.
"Remember, choose carefully. If you choose too strong a race, the tower instead of making you strong will become your weakness, and if you choose a weak race, you would never be able to grow strong enough to compete with top races," Aakesh warned her before she could select the races. He only did this because the tower would help the Bisan Kingdom to grow, and the more it grew, the influence of his store would also rise.
Brinda nodded and directly took out the Hygar from one of the five races she was going to select. After thinking for a few minutes, she finally made her decision.
"I've made my decision, store owner," Brinda told Aakesh.
"Okay, think of the five races you've decided to select in your mind and imprint it onto its will in your mind," Aakesh added. The next moment, the tower tried to escape Brinda's hands as it knew if it stayed here any longer, it would lose its freedom.
"Stay here," Aakesh expressionlessly commented, and the next moment, the tower froze in the air. He then snapped his fingers, and the tower started shaking as if it was seeing something terrible.
A few moments later, the tower stopped shaking and fell back to Brinda's hands. The next moment, Brinda opened her eyes and couldn't help but smile. She could now feel the tower as one part of her body, which she could easily manipulate.
"Thank you, store owner," She thanked Aakesh with a slight bow after feeling her ownership over the tower.
Aakesh nodded in response and waved his hands. The next moment, all the participants standing on the platform disappeared and appeared on the chairs they were sitting in before entering the event.
"What races did you choose?" Punta asked his granddaughter after appearing in the seating section.
"Humans, Elves, Wyrms, Moya, and Ida," Brinda responded the name of the five races she had chosen.. Punta nodded in appreciation of her granddaughter.
Chapter 147: New Event
The current number of people sitting in the store had exceeded 60,000, and the number was only growing with each passing second.
Most of the people sitting in the crowd were ordinary people and the citizens of the Bisan Kingdom, but many were also part of neighboring Kingdoms and the groups who were traveling here.
One such group was the group of Moya. Moya was a race of people that didn't have a physical body. They instead only had a soul form, but they were currently sitting in the store using a treasure, so they looked like regular humans.
Moya was a race that was one of the strongest yet most hunted races of the Primal dimension. They were strong, but their value to other creatures was so high that they were even more famous than Elves.
Moyas were so popular and hunted because of the soul crystal. Soul crystal was a naturally formed stone that could help in improving the soul of the beings. Since Moya took birth from the top class of the soul crystal, people hunted them to gain it.
In the Multiverse, there's a saying that, 'The stronger the soul, the fastest the cultivation rate!' So the Moyas were always in huge demand.
***
"Boss, do you think the store owner would give something as a reward that benefits our race?" One of the Moya who had disguised as a female human asked. Her voice was only loud enough for their group to hear.
Moyas were one of the races that followed the Soul cultivation system. Since they didn't have a physical body, they couldn't cultivate any other system since every other cultivation system started with the cultivation of the body.
"We can only hope," The female, sitting in the center of the group, responded.
She was the leader of the group of Moya. It was her decision to come out of the clan, and it was also due to her that they had fallen into a predicament. To survive, they came here to a low-level Kingdom, and when they arrived here, they heard about the event from the citizens of the Kingdom.
After hearing about the rewards, they also decided to check out the events, and when they arrived here, they found many participants fighting races they had only heard of on the screen.
***
"It's time for the next event," Aakesh expressionlessly announced as he had no idea of a Moya coming to his store, and even if he knew, he would've ignored it since he had no interest in the soul crystals they were born from.
The crowd stopped chattering and fell silent. They then focused on Aakesh to know what the next event and its reward were going to be.
Aakesh ignored the excitement and enthusiasm on the majority of the onlooker's faces and waved his hands.
The next moment, a blue screen appeared in front of everybody.
Confused expressions appeared on the crowd's faces, seeing and reading what was written on the blue screen, except the group of Bislo.
On the blue screen were written the classes that the adventurers could gain in the Panagea.
Except few in the crowd, no one had ever heard of Panagea, so they had no idea what it was.
They didn't have to stay confused for long, as the next moment, the black screen suddenly lightened up.
The scene of the battle of the ten Emperors started playing on the screen.
Everyone had their mouths wide open after the screen turned off. They didn't even have any words to explain what they had seen a moment earlier.
"This is the world of Panagea, and you're the adventurers in it. The Panagea has the same rules as this word, but it's better than the real world in every way."
"In the world of Panagea, even a weakling has the chance to become the strongest. Even a bastard can become a king, or even a mortal can become a God."
"Even a son of an ordinary man has a chance to defeat the son of a king. In the world of Panagea, every single being has equal opportunities irrespective of their cultivation level, influence, or age in the real world," Aakesh expressionlessly announced.
The crowd had dumbfounded expressions after Aakesh stopped speaking.
Aakesh ignored their reactions and continued speaking, "The world of Panagea follows a different power system. In the world of Panagea, you don't need to be at least a Tao Palace to make a pill of the ascendance grade. You can be Level 1, and you would still be able to make the best pill. You only need the knowledge to make it."
"To gain that knowledge, you need classes. For example, the Pharmacist class gives the knowledge of different kinds of herbs to the adventurer."
"To gain the classes, you need to do quests in Panagea, but since it's the event day, I've decided to reward classes to the participants that would activate whenever they decide to enter the world of Panagea," Aakesh concluded.
***
The group of Moya had shocked expressions after they saw details of a class they could gain in the event.
The leader looked at other members of the group and found the same look of excitement in everyone's eyes.
They've decided to participate no matter what event it is, and they would give their best to win the class Parasitic.
The class Parasitic allowed the adventurer to gain control of bodies weaker in power than them.
The Moyas, despite their power, weren't able to control other people's bodies and make them their own. Many weaker races that had only soul forms could do this, but they couldn't, as if someone had put them on the blacklist for this feature.
Since the store owner said that, anything they gained in the Panagea could be taken out. So if they won this class and gained its abilities, they would also be able to take control of others' bodies, and it would take their biggest worry of someone seeing through their camouflage and hunting them away.
"Let's do this, boss. Even if we get found out, we can't lose this chance," One of the members whispered.
"Yes, boss, let's do this. Even if we got found out, the worst thing that could happen is we die, but if we succeeded, we could change our clan's destiny," Another member commented, agreeing with the proposal.
"I have the same idea," The leader smilingly replied in response to her group's request.
Chapter 148: Classes
"Since there are different classes for the win, there would be different events for them," Aakesh announced, ignoring the crowd's reaction after hearing about the classes.
"Those who want to participate for the class event raise their hands and take out ten top Primal stones," Aakesh announced.
The crowd's reaction turned shocked from dumbfounded after hearing the outrageous price. Even the last event where the reward was a treasure like the tower took a hundred Primal stones as the participation fee. Whereas for this event, where the reward was only a class that would help in Panagea, the event participation fee was ten Primal stones.
Many in the crowd who had decided to participate after hearing about Panagea changed their decisions after hearing the price, but there were still many who raised their hands and wanted to participate since the store rewards hadn't disappointed anybody until now.
Aakesh counted the number of people who had raised their hands and found the number of participants had exceeded the number that participated in the last event. It was around 618 people who had raised their hands and taken out ten top Primal stones.
He then waited for a few more seconds to wait if anyone else wanted to raise their hands. Six more people, who were confused whether they wanted to participate or not, raised their hands after seeing so many people raising their hands. No further people raised their hands after that.
Aakesh waved his hands, seeing no one else raising their hands, and the next moment, all the participants appeared on the platform. He noticed the group of Moya in the group of participants who had raised their hands, but he ignored them since he knew their history.
He could ignore the presence of Moya, but others who recognized them couldn't. George and Evelyn also recognized their presence, but they didn't do anything because even million of soul crystals weren't worth antagonizing Aakesh for them.
The group of Elves also noticed their presence. Ivaran also thought of making a move against them, but he stopped after facing a threatening glare from his mother. Elasha had the same reason as George and Evelyn, but she was also afraid of Aakesh. He gave her the feeling of a terrible calamity every time she saw him.
"Look, elder brother, a group of Moya," One of the daityas in the Kuriati group commented.
"If we get the soul crystals, we could get more resources from the family," Another member commented.
"Wait for me," Another commented and made a move.
"Wait," Kuriati said. He wanted to stop him since he never wanted anything to do that in any way could pit him against Aakesh.
The group of Moya also saw the daitya approaching them while licking his lips. They expected to get caught, but they didn't expect to get caught this early. They were afraid inside, but they put a nonchalant expression outside as if they had no idea what was happening. They had put their trust in Aakesh since they had read the message written on the rules board near the counter.
The daitya suddenly found himself falling face first on the ground.
"Ugh! Who dare-" The next moment, the daitya stood up while rubbing his face and groaning in pain. He then angrily turned around while shouting, but the next moment, his words got stuck in his throat due to fear.
He found Kuriati looking at him with an angry look on his face.
"I told you to wait," Kuriati coldly said while grabbing hold of the neck of the daitya.
The daitya trembled, seeing the anger on Kuriati's face. He tried to respond, but before he could, a sudden pressure arrived on him and Kuriati.
"If something like this happens again, you would wish you'd never come to this place," The next moment, Aakesh's cold voice echoed inside both of their heads.
Their backs turned wet with cold sweat since it was the first time they felt the majesty of the store owner through his warning. The daitya also remembered the conversation with Kuriati in the Panagea for the first time they had entered.
Aakesh ignored their reactions and left them lying on the ground.
"Those who want to participate for the Alchemy class go there. Those who want to participate for the Potioneer class go there..."
Aakesh ordered the participants to separate in rows for different classes they wanted to participate in. since not everyone can participate in the same event for every class, Aakesh decided to organize a different event for every class.
A few moments later, all the participants separated into different rows where Aakesh ordered them to.
The most number of participants joined the event where the reward was the class Beast Summoner.
The class Beast Summoner allowed the adventurer to summon beasts in Panagea that could be taken out in reality.
There was no such class in the actual world. The closest power system that came close to it was the Tamer system. But in that system, the creatures needed to tame beasts, undead, or any other race, whereas, in the Beast Summoner class, the person could summon beasts to fight for them, while only paying their energy as the cost, instead of finding and taming them.
More than 60 out of 624 participants joined the queue for the class Beast Summoner, while many classes didn't even get any participants.
The Pharmacist class had the smallest number of participants, excluding the classes with no participants. Only one participant joined the queue for that.
"Store owner, since there're no other participants, could you declare me as the winner," The only man who had joined the queue for the class Pharmacist shamelessly asked Aakesh.
In response, Aakesh only gave a side look to the man, and the man closed his mouth.
"Since the class Beast Summoner had the highest number of participants, let's start your event first," Aakesh announced.
"There are several levels of any class in Panagea. They are, Inferior, Ordinary, Rare, Epic, Mythical, etc. Those who win the event would get an inferior type of class as a reward. You can further upgrade the level by doing quests in Panagea," Aakesh announced before telling the participants to enter.
"Okay, let's begin," Aakesh announced and started explaining about the event to the participants.
Chapter 149: The First Class Event
After Aakesh called out the participants, all the participants who would participate to win the class Beast Summoner stepped forward.
"For the event, all of you would enter the virtual portal," Aakesh said and pointed at the fifteen virtual portals lying on the platform. All the participants nodded after hearing this.
"In the event, you would appear in a jungle full of beasts belonging to different races, species, and cultivation levels. Some may be weaker than you, and some may be way stronger than you."
"You need to defeat as many beasts as possible using only your hands. The participant who kills the most number of beasts higher than their level would win the event and then the class Beast Summoner as the reward," Aakesh announced.
After announcing, he pointed at the fifteen participants standing in front of the group of 63 participants and ordered them to enter the portal.
The participants nodded and entered their respective portals.
The next moment, the black screen separated into 15 sections and started showing the scene of the participants.
The participants had appeared in a jungle full of trees. There were so many trees that they wouldn't even know who was a meter away from them.
The event needed them to stay at 100% concentration all the time. If the participants missed even a second of the beasts hiding behind trees, they would lose their life and get disqualified from the event.
Since the event asked them to fight only using hands, they couldn't use weapons.
The next moment, a beast roar echoed on all the fifteen divisions of the screen at the same time. The participants got ready to fight right away.
Many participants destroyed trees around them to make enough space for them to fight, while many decided to use the tree to their advantage. It wasn't only the beast who could use the trees to create a surprise attack; participants also had the same opportunity to do this.
Right after the beast roared, an alert, "Get ready to fight!" echoed inside their head, announcing the start of the battle for them.
The participants took their positions and got ready to face the beasts. The next moment, the land shook as the horde of beasts arrived.
The participants at first were shocked, seeing such a large number of beasts only at the start, but after they saw their levels, they heaved a sigh of relief, and many participants even rushed in thor crowd.
Since most of the beast in the first horde was either level 1 or level 2, some participants decided to kill them right away as later they could create problems for them when higher-level beasts arrived.
One such participant who rushed into the group of beasts was Clark, one of the guards of Pento. Since he was an intermediate Nascent Soul, killing the beasts wasn't an issue for him.
With every punch of his, beasts died in multiple numbers. He was only using 20% of his power at the moment since he needed not only stamina but also power when the higher-level beasts arrived in the battle group. To win the event, the participants required to kill beasts of the higher levels.
"You, come here," He found a Level 3 beast in the midst of the horde. He grabbed the head of the beast and used it as a weapon to crash into other Level 1 and Level 2 beasts.
Using the head of the beasts relaxed him since its head was hard enough to get used as a hammer. He killed more than 480 Level 1 and Level 2 beasts using the head in around a minute. The beast's head finally gave up after that and got crushed into smithereens.
Five minutes had passed since the event began. Since all the participants were at least late Soul Formation, no one got disqualified during these five minutes.
Another bestial roar echoed in the area as if five minutes was a time limit. The next moment, the land started trembling with an intensity even more than the previous tremble.
The next moment, the horde ten times arrived on the scene, destroying everything in its path. The horde was so large that they cleared 20% of the jungle in their rumble.
The horde had upgraded from the previous crowd as the number of Level 3 and Level 4 beasts contributed more than 99% to the horde, while the other 1% consisted of Level 1, Level 2, and Level 5 beasts.
Time flew by, and another five minutes passed. After this, another horde of beasts arrived, adding to the previous horde for every participant. The majority of the beasts in this horde were Level 5 and Level 6, while there were ten or twenty Level 7 beasts.
Unlike the previous events, the beast participating in this event wasn't that much talented. They were similar to the regular beasts, so many Soul Formation cultivators were able to defeat Level 5 beasts.
Time flew by, and another five minutes passed. Out of the fifteen, only one participant remained in the event, and the other got disqualified as the third horde overpowered them.
It was time for the fourth horde of the beast to arrive on the scene. This horde would only contain beasts of Level 7 and Level 8, while one beast led the pack, and it was a Beast King.
The Beast King stayed at the back and ordered other beasts in the horde to attack Clark with everything they've got.
After getting the order, the beast's eye turned red, and they went on the rampage. In only a few moments, what was once a jungle full of trees turned into ruins.
Clark wasn't able to handle the rampage of so many high-level beasts, so he lost his life a few moments later. The next moment, he appeared on the platform. A smile spread on his face, finding him to the last to exit the portal.
He was also smiling as the event went better than he hoped for. He killed quite a few beasts having higher cultivation than him.
The next moment, the virtual projection near the platform lightened up and showed the name and higher-level kills of the fifteen participants who had entered the portal as the first group.
The name on the top of the list was Clark, who had killed 372 Level 6, and 28 Level 7.
Chapter 150: Winner
Time flew by, groups after groups entered the portals to compete for the win. It was currently the last group of three participants that were fighting.
Four minutes had passed since the group had entered the portal, and currently, they were engaged in combat with the first beast horde.
The first beast horde was practically at the end of their phase because all three participants were above Nascent Soul, and one of them was even peak Nascent Soul. Time flew by, and the timeline of five minutes passed.
The next moment, a bestial roar filled with anger echoed as the second beast horde arrived on the scene.
Time flew by, and around twenty minutes had passed since the last group of participants entered the portal. Only one of the three participants remained alive fighting the beasts, while the other two got massacred by the fourth horde.
After the timeline of twenty minutes passed, a roar that could shake the entire Bisan Kingdom echoed in the battleground, and the next moment, a beast the size of the planet appeared on the scene. The participant couldn't even see the face of the beast. He only assumed the size due to the shadow.
All the beasts knelt down and announced the arrival of the Beast Emperor. The participants decided to take the chance to kill higher-level beasts, taking the chance, but the next moment he found himself frozen on the spot.
No matter what he tried, he couldn't even budge. The air in the jungle suddenly turned cold as another bestial roar echoed in the area. The next moment, all the beast stood up and rushed at the frozen participant.
The participant could see thousands and thousands of beasts rushing at him, but he could only watch it. There wasn't even an option of giving up in the event. The battle would only end when either the participant clears every horde or either the participant loses their life while doing so.
The next moment, the beasts rushed at him and started tearing him apart. The man could feel the pain of the beasts tearing his muscles, but he couldn't even scream to vent the pain.
The man only survived the onslaught of the beasts for a few moments, and the next moment, he appeared on the platform with wet sweat all over his body. Even other participants looked at him with pity since it was the cruelest death anyone had faced until the start of the event.
Aakesh didn't feel any pity for the man as he knew it was the man's fault that he faced such treatment. If he had never thought of using the time where the lower-level beasts were worshipping their Emperor as the time to take a chance, the Beast Emperor wouldn't have interfered until its time to battle arrived.
The virtual projection next to the platform also started moving again. A few moments later, the rank of the participants appeared by the number of their kills.
The man who had just faced torture expected himself to win since he had killed more than 500 Level 6 beasts, but when he saw the name on the top of the table, he couldn't help but cough out blood.
It wasn't his name even after facing such torture. It was Clark who took place at the top of the table with 372 Level 6 and 28 Level 7 kills. On the second rank was the man who faced the torture of the beasts ripping his skin. He had 514 Level 6 kills and 13 Level 7 kills.
Clark won despite getting a lesser number of combined kills because every kill of one level higher beast gave ten points, and the points grew by tenfold with every increase in cultivation level.
Clark won 6520 points for killing 372 Level 6 and 28 Level 7 beasts, and the man won 6440 points for killing 514 Level 6 and 13 Level 7 kills. If he was able to kill one more Level 7, he would've won the event and wouldn't have lost by only a measly 80 points.
"Yes!" Clark yelled in excitement after seeing his name at the top in the virtual projection.
This win would not only grant him a class in Panagea and the actual world, but it would also make him the favorite of Pento. All his guards were participating in different events for different classes, and Pento had told them the winner of the events would get extra special rewards from him.
Aakesh ignored the reaction of the guard and called him forward.
Clark respectfully nodded and stepped forward. He knew in his heart that if not for fighting against the metal wolves in Panagea as an ordinary mortal without the fear of death, he would've never killed this many high-level beasts in the event.
Aakesh snapped his fingers, the next moment, a blue card appeared in his hands.
He looked at the card before handing it over to Clark.
'Samsara Samraat', the name of the product was written in golden fonts on the top of the card. Below it was written, the class Beast Summoner in dripping blood fonts. Below the name of the class, the level inferior was written.
Below the level of the class, a red button was engraved. Clark would've to push the button to activate the card, and then he would gain the class.
After seeing, there was nothing rare about the card, Aakesh handed it over to Clark and told him to push the button whenever he wanted to activate the class.
After getting the card, Clark gently stroked it for a few seconds as if it was the most important thing for him. The next moment, he pushed the button on the card since it didn't matter when he activated the card.
The card suddenly enlarged and engulfed the entirety of Clark. Clark didn't have to stay like this for long as a few moments later, it pressed itself onto him and disappeared.
"Eh!" Clark exclaimed in confusion after the process disappeared.
He looked at himself for a moment and then at Aakesh as he didn't feel anything extra in his body. It felt the same before winning the card.
"You would see it when you enter Panagea," Aakesh expressionlessly told him, seeing his confusion.
Before Clark could respond anything, Aakesh waved his hands, and the next moment, all the participants who participated in the last event disappeared from the platform and appeared on their chairs.
Chapter 151: Second Class Event
After all the participants that participated for the class, Beast Summoner returned to their chairs. Aakesh's eyes then fell on the next group of participants.
This group of participants joined in the queue for the class Alchemist.
The class, Alchemist gave adventurers the knowledge to make pills of all the categories depending upon their level.
Fifty-six participants joined the event for the alchemy, the second highest after the 63 for the class Beast Summoner.
Aakesh pointed at the group to step forward, and the group of 56 participants stepped forward after nodding.
"The next event would be for the participants who wish to win the Alchemist class," Aakesh announced. All the other groups shook their heads disappointedly as their event was still far away.
"In the event, the participants would need to show their skills in pill making of the inferior grade."
"The participant who creates the most number of pills in thirty minutes above or equal to the second-grade would win the event."
"Every second-grade inferior pill would grant you ten points, first-grade 100 points, and if you're able to make a medium level pill, then 1000 points," Aakesh announced.
All the participants had confused expressions after Aakesh stopped speaking since many of the participants here could even make second-grade medium pills in reality. There was also one woman in this group of participants who could even make a third-grade top pill.
She was one of the princesses like Brinda of the Bisan Kingdom. Her name was Bintu, and she was the youngest princess of the Kingdom. Only Pento was younger than her in the entire royal family.
Unlike other princes and princesses, she had no interest in any kind of thing related to combat. Instead, her interest was in alchemy.
Aakesh also noticed the confusion on the participant's faces. To clear their confusion, Aakesh announced, "When you enter the portal, you would forget any knowledge you have related to the making of the pill. You would get a recipe, the materials needed for the pill, and then you would get thirty minutes to make as many as you could with only the help of recipe and your wit."
Wry smiles appeared on the participant's faces after hearing Aakesh's next announcement. How can they even think that the event would be simple after seeing so many events?
"You can enter," Aakesh ordered and pointed at fifteen participants standing in front.
The participants nodded and entered their respective portals.
The black screen lightened up after the entry of the participants. The crowd could see that participants had appeared in a simple room where there was only a table and an alchemy forge.
After the participants appeared in the alchemy room, they found out that as Aakesh had told them, they didn't know anything about alchemy, even the tiniest knowledge.
They couldn't just stand there since they had a time limit, so they took deep breaths and reached out to the folded paper lying on the top of the table.
They unfolded the paper and found it was the recipe of one of the most basic, 'Healing pill'. It helped the user heal small cuts or wounds right away.
The ingredients for the pill were turmeric, bee honey, clarified butter(Cow), and Aloe vera.
(A/N: Please don't try this at home. Only one of these is enough for if you've got a small cut or open wound.)
After the name of the ingredients, the steps that needed to be taken were written on the paper. They only had to think of the ingredients, and the next moment, all the ingredients in a pair appeared on the table.
The participants didn't wait after that and started following the steps written on the paper.
It only took around 45 seconds to make a pill after following the steps on the paper, but the grade of the pill was only a third-grade inferior pill. Since the participants at least needed second-grade pills for points, they threw it away and started making another one.
After a few minutes, the participants stopped following the steps as written as on the paper. Since they understood that they would never be able to create a pill above third-grade inferior if they followed it, they started thinking of ways to add to the steps and create the required pill.
Time flew by, and thirty minutes passed. Since the time limit was over, the system forced the participant out of the alchemy room. The next moment, they appeared on the platform.
All of the fifteen participants had disappointed faces since the event didn't go the way they'd planned. They wouldn't have felt this much disappointment if they wouldn't have paid a whopping sum of ten top Primal stones for the event.
The next moment, there were some changes on the virtual projection next to the platform. A few moments later, the name Louise appeared on the projection.
Louise was the only participant in the first group who'd succeeded in making a second-grade inferior pill. He could only create one pill, but since he was the only participant to have points, only his name appeared on the virtual projection.
Louise had no happy expression, seeing his name on the projection, since he was confident that only ten points weren't enough to even compete with many in the group of participants, let alone win.
Aakesh had nothing to do with what they did and gained in the event, so he ignored their reactions and called the second group for participation.
After the next group entered, a disgruntled expression appeared on the faces of the few participants. They had thought that Aakesh wouldn't take away their memories of the scenes they had seen of the first group of participants, but how could the system leave such a loophole for the participants. It took that memory away too.
Time flew by, and an hour passed. Out of the 56 participants, 45 had already participated, and only 11 were left to participate.
On the virtual projection, there were seven names. Out of the seven names, four only came from the third group.
The name on the top of the list was Bisal. He made 4 second-grade pills, and somehow he got fortunate enough to create a first-grade pill.
Time flew by. The last group also completed their participation.
Bislo won the competition after creating three first-grade inferior pills and won the class Alchemist as the reward.
Chapter 152: Events
The virtual projection showed Bislo as the winner after making two second-grade and three third-grade inferior pills. Aakesh then called him forward and handed him the winning card.
"Senior, can my son use this card?" Bislo asked Aakesh after getting the card. He could see the slumped shoulders of his son. He couldn't see his son this depressed, so he decided to ask Aakesh.
"No! Your name is already registered on the card," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.
Before Bislo could say anything, Aakesh waved his hands, and the next moment, all the participants who had participated in the event disappeared from the platform and appeared in front of their chairs.
After the group of participants left, Aakesh's eyes fell on the next group of participants.
After Alchemist, the most number of participants had joined the class, Blacksmith. Forty-two participants had joined the queue for this class.
Aakesh called the group in front. Excited expressions appeared on the faces of the participants participating in the class, Blacksmith, seeing their time to participate had finally arrived.
The group excitedly stepped forward while the other group of participants eagerly waited for their turn to come.
"To win the class, Blacksmith..." Aakesh started announcing the details of the test they had to face to win the class.
The test for the class Blacksmith wasn't too different from the test for the class, Alchemist.
In the event, the participants had to create the weapon easiest to make, a basic sword, while using iron as the material in the time limit of thirty minutes.
For the test, like the test for Alchemist, there would be a paper lying on the table in the forging room that would contain the details of how to make the best sword from the iron. In addition to that, there would also be a single chant written on the paper.
The chant could or could not increase the quality of the created material based on the participant's understanding of the chant.
The participant who would make the best and strongest sword out of all the participants would win the class, Blacksmith as the reward.
Aakesh pointed at the first group of 15 out of the forty-two participants and told them to enter the portal.
Seconds turned into minutes, and minutes turned into hours, and just like that, 90 minutes passed.
Since there were only forty-two participants participating for the class Blacksmith, there were only three groups of entry into the portal. After the time was over for the last group, the system forced the group out of the forging room, and the next moment, they appeared on the platform.
Every participant had a sword in their hands. It was the basic sword they've created during the event for the test.
The next moment, the sword left the participant's hands and went to the virtual projection. As if the swords were sentient, they started establishing themself in sequence.
The sequence was based on the quality of the sword. The sword at the bottom belonged to the lowest quality of the lot, while the top sword signified the best quality of the lot.
After one sword of the lot reached the top, all the other participants created swords disappeared from the virtual projection. The next moment, a blue light engulfed the only remaining sword.
The participant who created the only remaining sword looked nervously at the scenes. If the blue light judged the quality of the sword to be adequate and worth the reward, he would win, and if it didn't fail to achieve the mark, the participant would lose despite winning against everybody.
The next moment, the blue light turned into gold, which brought an excited expression on the winning participant's face. If the light had turned red, that meant the quality of the sword wasn't worth winning, but since the blue light turned gold, he had won the event and the class Blacksmith.
The next moment, Aakesh called the participant and handed him the card. The participant's name was John. He wasn't from the Bisan Kingdom but the neighboring Blue Wyrm Kingdom.
The royal family, seeing someone from the other Kingdoms winning a reward wanted to do something, but Punta stopped them. He didn't want to offend the store owner after seeing even Elves not daring to be arrogant in front of him.
Time flew by, events after events passed. The sole participant who had joined the event for the class, Pharmacist, failed to pass the test, let alone win the reward.
The group of Moya participated for the class, Parasitic. Since the class didn't look impressive to others, the group of Moya was the only one that participated
The group consisted of five members, and their leader was the only one who passed the test, so she won the class as a default reward.
Those who knew about Moya knew the value of the class Parasitic to them. Even if they wanted to stop her, they couldn't risk offending Aakesh for the soul crystals.
The store of Aakesh was something that didn't seem to follow the rule of the world, so their preference would always be for the benefits they could get from the store over some treasures.
Elasha won the class Fortune Teller. Evelyn and George failed to win anything. The other members in the Elven group also failed to win any event.
There were several events that had tens of participants, but none of the participants even achieved the minimum requirement of passing the test.
After all the events related to different classes were over, the system informed Aakesh that the sun had set and the night had arrived, so he decided to end the day and close the store.
After he informed the customer, many customers had disappointed expressions as they still wanted to see more, but since there was one more day left and they needed to arrive early, they left the store.
While leaving the store, the system added a warning, "If you dare to harm any winner, you would need millions of lives to save yourself."
The system did this because many of the winners were low-level in reality, and the tower the royal family had won could bring a disaster for them.
After everyone left, Aakesh closed the door of the store and returned to his room.
Chapter 153: The Protection
After Aakesh announced the end of the second-day events, the crowd started leaving one by one.
Since the crowd only had to think of leaving and they would appear at the exit of the store, in no time, all the chairs except five turned empty.
Only the group of Moya was left in the store. They didn't leave with others because they were worried that they had gotten exposed during the event. They took the risk of exposing themselves despite knowing the consequences of it, but now that they had done this and everyone had left, the fear of the consequences seeped through them.
"No one would hurt you until the event continues," Aakesh commented, seeing the group continuing to sit in the store despite the passing of several seconds.
"We heard that tomorrow is the last day. Does that mean from the day after tomorrow, people can try to hunt us?" The leader of the group nervously asked in response.
"Yes! Now leave," Aakesh expressionlessly responded and snapped his fingers.
The next moment, before the group could respond, they found themselves on the door facing the outside.
They turned around to look at the store, but they found the door got shut on their face.
"What should we do, boss?" One member of the group asked.
"Let's spend the night in one of the motels here. We'll decide what to do after the event ends tomorrow," The leader of the group calmly replied in response.
She looked calm on the outside, but in her mind, she was thinking about what to do since the class wouldn't take effect unless she completes her first quest in Panagea, unlike some of the classes that would only take effect with just the entry into Panagea.
She then took a deep breath to calm her mind, but the danger she was in didn't let her feel calm.
She was a late Soul Emperor, the level equivalent to Tao Palace in the Qi cultivation system, while the other four in her group were between late to peak Soul King(Tao Manifestation in Qi cultivation system), so they weren't afraid of any Tao Palace level cultivator, but she had seen several talented Heavenly Monarch on the platform, whom she and her group could only dream to defeat despite being one of the most talented Moya of the current generation.
Since she couldn't do anything other than leave, so she left. The other members of the group also silently followed her.
Right after she left, a group of three people appeared not far from where the group of Moya was a moment before.
"Found you!" A hoarse voice echoed in the area, and the next moment, the group disappeared into the darkness of the night.
Aakesh could see the group of three when they were in hiding, but since the winner who had won any event was under the protection of the system till the event continued, he didn't do anything. He closed the door and then decided to check the quest status.
The next moment, a blue screen containing all the details of the quest appeared in front of him.
[Mission Objective: Organize a competition for the citizens of the Bisan Kingdom and other people,
Requirement: Since you've suggested that the store should organize a competition to promote the store, it's now your duty to organize it with the maximum possible zeal and fervor so that everyone irrespective of their level can enjoy it,
Minimum numbers of attendees: 2000,
Current attendees: 1524,
Event time: Three days,
Time left: One day,
Mission reward: A new product, addition in varieties in pills, and thirty-five new virtual portals,
Failure punishment: Commission reduced by 100% for a year.]
"476 more participants more," Aakesh murmured after seeing the quest screen.
If he wanted to complete the quest, he would only need 476 more participants. He not only wanted to achieve the mission requirement, but he also wanted to win a bonus reward as well, so he needed more than 2000 participants to at least get a good bonus reward.
Tomorrow he had some rewards that would make even the higher-level races crazy, so he was confident of achieving the target. But if he still failed after that, he would only have his luck to blame.
Aakesh then waved his hands, and the next moment, the quest screen disappeared.
He then turned around to proceed to his room when he suddenly stopped in his steps as he got an alert from the system.
[Host, one of the winning participants, faced a life-threatening attack from a group. As per the store's commitment to the winner to protect them during the three-day event, the system has killed their attackers.]
The voice of the system in its emotionless tone echoed inside his head.
"They had bad luck," Aakesh nonchalantly whispered after getting the alert. Since he had no interest in how it happened, he forgot about it and left for his room.

"The store owner saved us," One of the members in the group replied after heaving a relieved sigh. Her group was looking at the three mounds of ashes were lying not far from them.
She had a weapon in her hand and was ready to attack anytime, but no one in her group was confident of coming out alive after the conflict with the attacking group since the leader of that group was late Tao Palace, while the other two members were both early Tao Palace.
A moment earlier, they were in precarious circumstances when they suddenly found themselves surrounded by a group of three experts. However, the situation soon turned in their favor when one of the men launched an attack on their leader.
The next moment, a giant golden eye appeared in the sky. The eye directly looked at the group of three without any kind of emotion.
They didn't even know what happened as the next moment, all three members of the group turned into mounds of their ashes. The giant golden eye disappeared after that.
"Yes, we would thank the store owner tomorrow," The leader replied in response.

Time flew by, and the sun arrived and shined the entire Anga continent, making the darkness of the night hide.
As expected, many people stayed the night near the store not to miss any events since there wasn't a determined schedule.
Chapter 154: Third-day Event
The sun rose as scheduled and brought a new day for everyone living in the Bisan Kingdom.
The door of the store automatically opened to welcome the crowd inside.
Since it was the last day of the three-day event, thousands of people were already waiting outside for the store to open.
The moment the door of the store opened, people, like the flow of the raging river, moved inside the store.
Since they only needed to think of going to the chair after setting foot inside the store, a situation of stampede didn't occur.
More than thirty minutes had passed since the door of the store opened, but Aakesh was nowhere to be seen. The people currently sitting in the store had already crossed the mark of 100,000.
Another hour passed, and Aakesh still didn't appear, while the number of people sitting in the chair had crossed 378,000.
"Why do you think the store owner isn't appearing despite so much time passing?" One man in the crowd confusedly asked his friend.
In the last two days, the first event was usually already in half-phase during this time, and today the store owner hadn't even appeared, let alone the start of the event.
"Maybe the store owner forgot," The friend doubtfully replied.
The man gave the side-eye to his friend after hearing his response.
"Maybe the event is going to be way grander than the events from the last two days," Another man who was sitting near the group of friends commented. He wasn't sure about what he commented, but he felt that something like this was bound to happen.
Another 90 minutes passed, but Aakesh still didn't appear.
Despite three hours passing, no one in the crowd left the store and waited for the store owner to appear without making any fuss. The current number of people in the store had already crossed the golden number of one million, and still, hundreds of people were entering the store every moment.
Around 30% of the people in the crowd didn't belong to the Bisan Kingdom. Many in the crowd arrived for the event after spending large sums of money on their travel.
The tower that Brinda had won yesterday was the reason behind the people from outside the Bisan Kingdom arriving.
***
The previous evening after the end of the events,
"You've done a huge favor on us. Our family could never repay you," Punta told his grandaughter while they were on their way to the royal palace.
"It was my duty, royal grandfather," Brinda replied with a calm look on her face.
"Our Kingdom has nothing worth to reward you for the service you'd done to the Kingdom by winning the tower, but still, I can do one personal thing. You don't need to use the honorary title before me. You can simply call me grandfather," Punta announced, bringing a look of shock on the faces of the other family members.
Many of the princes and princesses had envious faces after hearing Punta's announcement. It may not have meant anything if it had come from their father, but it was their grandfather, a prince of another Kingdom, thousands of times greater than theirs.
After this announcement, Punta choosing someone other than Brinda as the next king was likely impossible. Even if something major happened in the future that may force Punta to select some other heir, there is almost no doubt that Brinda still would have the greatest say in the Kingdom after what she had achieved today and Punta's announcement.
"Thank you, grandfather," Punta excitedly responded to her grandfather's announcement since she also understood the value of what Punta said.
"Damn it, how could this happen? If grandfather had already made his mind to choose her as the next king, then what about the hard work I've been doing this past week in the Panagea?" Pento frustratingly thought inside his heart but had an envious expression on the outside.
He couldn't afford to show his frustrating expression today since Brinda has won something which could change the trajectory of the Bisan Kingdom for its life.
Pento's primary purpose behind working this hard in Panagea was to gain enough power to get chosen as the heir. After Aakesh had told him he would have the chance to get territory in the Panagea in the event, he thought his time had come. But then, today happened, and an event with the tower as the reward came, and his sister Brinda was the sole participant to win a fight against the opponent having the same cultivation level as her.
He couldn't help but curse himself for not being able to win against the opponent of the same level despite polishing his fighting techniques due to the quests in the Panagea.
He was cursing himself when he suddenly broke out of his stupor, and the next moment his jaw almost dropped to the ground after hearing what Punta said next.
"Let's meet father, your great-grandfather today," Punta suddenly told Brinda.
"Really!" Brinda exclaimed in shock in response.
"I'll meet you in the royal palace," Punta looked at the other royal family members and told them.
The next moment, he took a strange button out of his space ring. He then grabbed hold of Brinda's hands and crushed the button before anyone could say anything.
The next moment, they both disappeared from there, while all the other members had jealous and frustrating expressions after they left.
Punta belonged to the Chivell Kingdom. He brought Brinda here, as he had already chosen her as the next king of the Bisan Kingdom.
It wasn't due to the tower that he had made this decision. Even if someone else had won, he would've still chosen Brinda as the king.
Her talent alone made him choose her as the king. He brought her here to make acquaintance with his father.
He had already decided to leave the life of power after selecting the heir, so he brought her here in case something happened to his Kingdom, Brinda would still be able to survive with the help of his father.
After Punta told his father about Brinda, the tower, and the event, his father also decided to join them tomorrow with his family for the event in the store.
That night, an announcement rang in the Chivell Kingdom, and the spies of nearby Kingdoms made the announcements known to others too.
Chapter 155: Late
Time flew by, and another hour passed in the store without the appearance of Aakesh. Around 1.2 million people were currently sitting in the store, waiting for the event to start.
More than 700,000 of the 1.2 million people came here to the store for the first time, and they weren't here from anywhere close.
Many in the crowd belonged to Kingdoms and Empires located in the center of the Anga continent. They were here due to the sudden announcement in a Kingdom like the Chivell Kingdom in the night.
Powerful beings were always in search of opportunities, and when a Kingdom that had several Tao Palace cultivators, and a peak Tao Palace king, announced the details of an event happening in some low-level Kingdom in the dark of the night, it meant an opportunity may have arrived for them. So they didn't wait and also joined the event told in the announcement.
So there were currently more than 10,000 cultivators exceeding the cultivation level, Tao Manifestation in the store, waiting for the event.
"Do you think our spies heard the date of the announcement wrong?" One being covered in a dark cloak whispered to the person sitting next to them.
The person in response looked at the being like he was the most stupid person the person had seen. "Are you stupid? If we heard the date of the announcement wrong, then what are these people doing here?" The person scoffed.
An embarrassed expression appeared on the being's face in response. "Cough! Why do you think then the store owner hasn't arrived until now?" The being coughed to clear the embarrassment and asked.
"I've no idea," The person replied while shaking his head.
Both the persons were peak Tao Palace cultivators and were best friends, so when they heard the announcement, they both also came here.
Upon entering the store, they became confident that an opportunity was waiting for them after seeing the entire hardwood floor that looked like a mini-world from inside made out of Ashamba in the store. Despite being only one level away from reaching the peak of the Primal dimension, they couldn't sense anything in the store.
But four hours had passed, and the store owner was nowhere to be seen. After asking from the people who had watched other events and were citizens of the Bisan Kingdom, they found out that the store owner acted nonchalantly and didn't care for anyone's feelings, so they couldn't help but get nervous, thinking that maybe the store owner had decided to stop the event. But after seeing, not a single person leaving the store, they also decided to wait the entire day as the only thing they had in abundance amount was time.
Qi cultivators who had reached the level Tao Palace could live up to trillions of years even without having any lifespan increasing treasure. Since they had only lived for 80 billion years old, they still had too much lifespan to live or waste.
They were here because, despite having trillions of years to live, the cultivators who failed to achieve Immortality before the age of a million years had almost zero chances of ever ascending to the Sacred dimension.
The idea of becoming an Immortal might seem great in stories, but when there were millions of such Immortals in one top organization, it took away the value of working so hard. What's the point of cultivation if you don't even wish to reach the peak of the power of the Multiverse?
There were many like them who could achieve Immortality if they worked hard, but their aim of ascending may never take fruition due to the lack of their talent.
***
"What do you think happened to Aakesh?" Evelyn asked with a hint of concern in her voice.
George couldn't help but laugh in response, seeing Evelyn's concern. She glared at him for laughing at her concerns.
Seeing the glare, he stopped laughing. "Today is the last day, so he must be preparing for the event to make it even greater than the last two days combined," George confidently responded with a smile on his face.
"Let's just hope what you're saying is correct," Evelyn commented, seeing the confidence of her boyfriend.
***
While hundreds of people entered the store with each passing moment, the crowd chattered about why the store owner hadn't appeared. The chairs Aakesh had added were already filled to the brim, but extra chairs appeared with each person who entered the store.
The floating door the crowd had gotten used to appeared suddenly in the store above the platform.
Seeing the door appearing, many in the crowd cheered. The first-time visitors also joined the people in the store when they discovered the reason for the cheer. Since many of them had come here after paying outrageous amounts of Primal stones to travel to this low-level area, their excitement knew no bounds.
The next moment, the stairs connecting the door from the platform appeared. Soon, the door opened, and Aakesh stepped out of it. He then stepped down the stairs and appeared on the stage.
Aakesh nodded after seeing all the chairs full. The next moment, he asked the system to add the same number of chairs as the current number of people sitting in the crowd, and the next moment, 1.3 million extra chairs appeared in the store, stopping the store from looking overcrowded.
The crowd was looking at Aakesh for getting the reason for him getting late, but Aakesh ignored them and started announcing the next event.
He had no plans to organize the event this late at the stage since he had three or four events planned for the third-day event.
Four hours earlier,
[Host, you can't give the Heartpiercer as the reward.]
The system suddenly announced. Heartpiercer was the name of the bow Aakesh had created for the first event today.
Since he liked archery the most out of other weapons, he decided to make a bow as a reward. He enjoyed the making of the bow so much that it crossed the threshold of the Primal dimension.
Anyone who won the bow would become the strongest of the Primal dimension at that moment, but he knew this wasn't the reason behind the system's refusal.. Because, if the system were against it, it would've already told him when he had made the bow, not now when the event was going to start.
