18 The Dark Syndicate

4 BBY, Yavin IV

After the long journey, the team landed safely on Yavin 4 with Jon on a stretcher with the team surrounding him. The team was battered and bruised but kept the Dromia system safe and the people travelled to neighbouring rebel planets. They felt relief.

"Is he alright?" Bothka ran up to check Jon.

"Yea he's just asleep, I'll watch him!" Mandy called out.

"He doesn't know you!"

"Trust me he does," she ran the stretcher to the medical bay to get him plugged in.

"I don't like her," Beethree expressed as she dropped some equipment.

-

Waking up in the medbay, Jon was quickly told to lay down. Nor had stayed by his side this whole time and it boggled his mind. His last encounter with Mandalorians wasn't so great so he never expected this before.

"What are you doing?" Nor checked the monitors. "You lost a lot of blood, cracked a few bones and if you ever get up again you'll pass right back out!"

"Well, whatever it takes eh?" he laughed.

"I guess...but you need to rest," she expressed. She sat back down next to him.

"Why are you here?" he puzzled.

"I'm watching you!"

"Can I ask you something?" Jon sat up.

"Sure!"

"Who are you?" he voiced. "You're obviously not Mandalorian, because you speak more..." she attempted to interrupt. "and Mandalorians mostly stay quiet, so who are you?"

After a sigh, she checked the room and went to close the door. Walking back next to him, she began removing her helmet.

"Hey what are you doing?" he stopped her.

"It's just you!" she continued and revealed a Cathar beneath the helmet.

"Nor? Wait, what?" he gasped as he looked at her.

"Yeah,"

"Well, this is pretty awkward!" wincing a bit he watched her breathe calmly. "How'd this happen?"

"After we umm...split, I was kidnapped and sold to a rancher but the Mandalorians saved me!" he narrated. "Something you could never do!"

"Alright now, I'm gonna forget that you just said that. I said sorry about a thousand times," he sat back down. "And you never took my calls so..."

"You nearly killed me!" she crossed her arms about to rage.

"Then what happened after? Huh?" he got back up. "If you still hate me because I tried to do something and act, stood by you even after that then you can leave!"

"Wow really?" she pouted.

"I loved you, but you gave up on me so I think that you should either change the subject or leave!" he started. "Because I'm tired of your nerf her-"

She ran up to him and kissed him softly. Her lovely hair brushed him across the face, whiffing a nice feline fragrance that caught him on a hook. Then grabbing his nape roughly, she forced her tongue into his temples. He wasn't ready.

Slowly sending shivers down his spine, she pulled back a few and gazed inside his blue eyes, and him; her sunny orange eyes.

"Too soon?" she smirked.

"No, proceed"

Getting on top of him she intensively dug into him, brushing her lips across his neck and then going back up. Grabbing her face he struggled to gain dominance, but then fell back down to let her loose.

"I've missed you so much!" she paused then resuming. Balling his fist, he pressed open the jet pack blasting the bed through the wall and onto the next room where the doctors watched on.

"Sorry," Jon laughed.

-

Out in the hangar, Beethree struggled to walk normally. His new body never registered fully with his processors, most functions rendered useless.

"Hey, hey slow down soldier!" Lam ran up to her. "One step at a time."

"I can't my processors can't connect to my legs, these IG-88 ones are probably busted,"

"Don't worry, we can get Jon to fix you up. I know he wants to be a mechanic or something!" he smirked.

"I need credits for that!"

"Don't worry I have you covered buddy!"

-

"That was a relief!" Sapienza sighed as he brought Bothka a drink.

"I know he could do it!"

"Who?"

"Jon!" Bothka smiled out to the horizon. "He's been through a lot, him and his friends together!"

"Don't worry after our plans work out with Luke, Leia and Solo, they'll all be ok!"

"No, they won't!" Bothka gazed back to him. "There'll be threats everywhere, just because the galaxy will be free, there's no guarantee."

"How do you know?"

"The Sith are present, every single day," he explained. "If they try anything, we need to make sure we're ready!"

"What do you suggest?"

"A crew!" he smiled.

2 BBY, Godhra

The moon of Godhra was mysterious, a great place to hide. Lam landed the ship on an island surrounded by fog and hard water. He approached a hut that was filled with thousands of villagers.

"Where is she?" he lowered his hood. They pointed to a dark door where a green sabre lit the place up. The jade light eerily lit the lower potions of the persons face.

"Who's looking for me?" she stared at the man.

"The Menacors, we need your help!"

-

2 BBY, Pantooine

"What are you doing?" Nor walked up to a large open space where parts where scattered.

"Building my first shop, thought I would get to be a mechanic," he laughed.

"Ahhh...I remember when u built me a music box!"

"We were six at the time, besides I was just getting started, right here I might build anything I want." he looked at his garage and imagined of all the wonders he could do.

"Well it better be something good!" Beethree came up intrigued on what was going on.

"Where's Lam?" Jon asked.

"He's going to some off world planet called Coruscant,"

"Well let's hope he's alright!"
