Uncomfortable 2...!

Mariam had been deep in thought when she realized something...

She was deep in thought...

And she was alone...

And in the dark...!

She was deep in thought and alone in he dark...!

She had no idea of where she was in the Castle.

She had been in a hurry to get away from Samuel, for no apparent reason...and she had completely forgotten to bring a torch along!

She was never forgetful, so it was so unlike her...

But then she heard footsteps behind her...

Then she turned her head...

Samuel on the other hand had been staring at her retreating figure, since she turned away and left in a hurry.

Thinking about her leaving in a hurry, Samuel frowned.

'She lady in a hurry...!' Samuel thought.

'Why did she?' Samuel asked himself.

At the thought of that, Samuel frowned.

Something popped up in his brain...

It all started when that 'Lucas' guy crossed Mariam's path just some moments ago.

Could Mariam had fallen for Lucas...?

The thought of that had Samuel grit his teeth and clench his fist.

Was Mariam trying to avoid him because of Lucas? Samuel thought.

He couldn't let that happen.

He had known Mariam for a very long time...

Five (5) - seven (7) years...he shared a bond with her.

Both He and Andrew...

They all shared a close bond with each other...

He and Andrew shared a brotherly bond...

Andrew and Mariam shared a 'Brother and Sister' bond, even though there was a time, Andrew had fallen for Mariam, and had even confessed his feelings to her, she outwardly rejected him.

Andrew couldn't believe his ears...

He was the Prince...

How could a mere girl of a woman, who did not have any high-standing position in the kingdom she had come from, outwardly reject him like that?

It was so uncalled for...!

When he reported the incident to his mother, his mother smiled before letting out a little laugh.

Then she said;

"That's how you know a true woman...!"

"She doesn't just let herself free, no matter who you are...whether you're a Prince, or rich man, or an elite...she's got her standards...!" Andrew's mother said.

"But am I not up to her standards...?" Andrew asked.

"I'm a Prince after all...!' Andrew added with a look of anger on his face as he spoke.

He also pouted.

Smiling, his mother caressed his face with her hand and then ruffled his hair a bit causing him to brush his mother's hand off.

His mother raised her brows as she looked at her son surprised.

Realizing what he had just done, the little Prince didn't dare look up at his mother.

Instead he tried to tip-toe and escape from his mother's light grip...

But when he moved his mother's grip on him tightened as she held him tighter.

Gulping, he slowly turned his head to look at his mother, who undoubtedly stared at him in surprise.

Once he saw his mother's eyes on him, he quickly turned his head back.

Chuckling, his mother asked;

"Oh, so you thought that you could escape from me, right?"

Shaking his head vigorously, his body vibrated also shook as his head moved.

Then he felt a tingling feeling by his rib cage.

He tied to suppress the feeling, but the tingle only got stronger, so he couldn't resist it.

Falling on the laps of his mother, little Andrew laughed out loud.

"Hahahahahahahahahaha!!!" He laughed.

"Mother stop...!" He pleaded.

"Mother stop...!" He pleaded again, but his mother seemed adamant.

"Shhhhhhh...!" She shushed him.

"You were playing with the Queen, right?" His mother whispered as she asked.

Shaking his head in negation as he was still tickled, little Andrew answered;

"No, mother...!" He laughed.

"I wasn't playing with the Queen...!" He laughed on.

But then, he stopped and looked at his mother.

"But you're my mother, I can play with you however I want...!" He said as he pouted.

With eyebrows raised, his mother looked at him with her arms calmly crossed across her chest as she looked at him.

"Oh really...?" She asked in surprise.

Bobbing his head up and down, he responded;

"Yes...!"

"And I can also play with you whenever I want to, too...!" He added as he looked away from his mother and closed his eyes, still pouting.

"Unbelievable...!" His mother said.

"And as the Prince, I have the freedom to do whatever I want, and to whoever I want to...!" He proclaimed with all determination.

"And I am the Queen,so you have to obey me...!" His mother said as she began tickling him again.

Before little Andrew could say anything more, he felt a pair of hands in his sides, tickling him, again.

He couldn't control his laughter as he burst out laughing, this time louder than the first time.

As he laughed and played with his mother, none of them seemed to have notice the King enter the room.

Seeing the way both mother and son played, he smiled.

He loved his family.

Then he decided to look for a little trouble.

Frowning, he said as he approached;

"Dear, why do you play with Andrew like that?" He asked.

Both mother and son then notice the King in the room as they both stopped playing and the Queen adjusted Andrew on her lap and they both looked up at him.

Smiling as Andrew turned back to look at his mother, and his mother looked at him, the duo turned thier attention back at him as the Queen greeted;

"Hello dear...!"

The King smiled.

"I and Andrew were just having a little bit of fun and free time when you came in...!" The Queen explained.

"Mama tickled me all over my ribs, I couldn't breathe...it felt like she wanted to suffocate me with laughter, I thought 'Mother, do you want to kill me? What kind of a Mother are you?' " Andrew said as he explained.

His mother turned h to look at her, just as he was trying to escape.

"What kind of a Mother am I...? I kill you?" She asked as she looked at him.

"No mother, you don't understand me... that's not what I meant...!" Andrew hurriedly explained.

"I think I am going to tickle you some more...!" The Queen announced.

Andrew's face turned pale as he smiled at his mother wearily and pleaded;

"No mother, please...I beg of you...!"

His mother smiled as she looked at him.

Then hugging him, she said;

"Then watch your mouth...!"

Enjoying the warmth of his mother's hug, Andrew smiled.

Then unwillingly releasing Andrew firm the embrace, they both turned their attention back to the King as he Queen asked the question that was in the mind of both her son and her.

"Besides dear, when did you get here?"
