Chapter Seventy-Two

"Come forth, Cyril." I murmur and a figure appears in front of me in the grounds. A man with golden hair and a muscular physique appeared before me.

"Hello, my lady." He bowed to me and I rolled my eyes.

"Cyril, the King wanted to meet you." I said and he laughed heartily.

"Probably after what I did with the Roses, did you at least enjoy the show dear girl? I see the rainbow roses still on your forearm~" I rolled my eyes as they wouldn't come off. Probably a limiter of some sort to stop me from collapsing.

"Well, I definitely enjoyed it although I think they all panicked quite a bit... But you knew that, didn't you Cyril?" He cracked a big grin, looking like a gentle, golden giant. His orange glowing eyes seemed to alight even brighter in his amusement.

"I love messing with humans~" I laughed at that and he then leaned down and picked me up.

"Well I can't let a princess walk on dirt can I?" I stared at him in shock. He knows I'm a princess?

"Ehh? What, your a princess of the spirit realm... Oh you humans wouldn't know that though would you?" He tilted his head mildly in thought and I felt like punching him.

"Great... Well let's find the King then... Wait what even are you, a spirit?" I asked and he looked miffed.

"I am. A Spirit. King. I am a divinely awesome thing! I am not JUST a spirit. Honestly humans." He shook his head as if horrified by the 'insult'. I giggled and he scowled.

"Ok, Mr. Divinely awesome, let's find the King because he totally didn't believe me and thought I had lost it mentally." Cyril grinned and laughed as he carried me bridal style into the castle.

"He's a spirit King!" The King bolted upright on shock the moment we walked through the office door. I watched bemused, as Cyril Drew himself up all impressively.

"Yes mortal, I am a Spirit King and I have come to serve my Princess." He looked so haughty at that moment I stared in amusement at this conversation. Definitely funny, but semi worrying.

"P-princess!?" He shouts and stares at me cradled in his arms like a precious jewel. I just shrugged.

"Yes, our spirit princess, a human born with divine magic. Rare, and unbelievably precious." He looked down at me so fondly I found it utterly creepy.
