Before I met Charles, I had always felt that it was boring to live alone.

I lost my parents when I was a child and was adopted by my aunt, but she only wanted the huge assets left by my parents and my upbringing expenses. She was very mean to me. I was lonely and had no friends, except for Selina, who was my childhood friend.

It was all thanks to her perseverance that we could become friends.

Selina was my aunt's neighbor, and her mother owned a breakfast restaurant downstairs.

On the day I moved to my new residence, I hid in the corner of the stairs alone. My aunt didn't care about me and went back to her room. I squatted for a long time and felt cold and hungry. Suddenly, a girl with big eyes appeared in front of me. She took me to the restaurant and handed me some food. She smiled and motioned for me to eat quickly.
