chapter 8
Mumei called a cab for them, she supported Hiori as she went inside and she also gave the driver Hiori's home address.
Mumei called Mrs. Sakamoto just five minutes before the car arrived at the front of their gate, Mumei once again supported Hiori as she stepped out of the car and she told Hiori's mom what happened to Hiori.
Mr. Sakamoto carried Hiori to her room
Of course Hiori's mom paid for their fare, and she hugged Mumei as she says ''Mumei-chan, thank you for taking care of my baby~''
''mm... it's nothing auntie''
Mrs. Sakamoto let go of Mumei when she noticed that the poor girl couldn't breath at her embrace ''my - my, I'm sorry~ ah! I almost forgot''
she went inside the room and came back with two paper bags each at on her hands then she gave it to Mumei
she smiled at her gently as she said ''this two bags on your right is yours and this other two is for your parents~ they'll know what's it for if they see it, just say its from me~'' she winked at Mumei when she said those last words.
Mumei being confused at the situation she just nodded her head and said her thanks and then she bid them good bye's.

5 hours passed and Hiori woke up, her head doesn't feel as heavy as before and her throat is doing much better as well.
she sat up in daze on her bed for 5 whole minutes she set aside the blanket and looked at her ankle where she wore the bracelet before but instead of the bracelet with its antique beads a scar was on it instead. She looked at it dazedly as her index finger traced the scar, after a few rounds of tracing she stepped out of her bed, walked to where her bag is and took out her notebook then she sat to her study table.
she wrote two words at the first line
'to survive'
then she stared at it for a good while, her hands started moving as she mumbles words as if she were possessed.
[ to survive...
4 months... no one helped us
probably got held up by something else.
4 months... what happened after that?
-I don't know... I died
but during those 4 months electricity and water are still running there's still hope!
get weapons! prepare for the worse!
must avoid the senpai's at school at all costs!
they are mad! no longer humans!
food - doesn't expire quickly
small and easy to eat! like cereal bar! dried meat! dried fruits!
eat those that will go bad first! save the rest for later!

medicine and bandages!!
duct tape over clothes at forearm, and legs! dont forget to layer it!
avoid getting bit!
buy lots of wet wipes/toilet paper use them when water's gone! ]
Hiori stared at her notebook
she chuckled as she looked at her mad-like writing
she also felt like she's gone mad
''One week...''
Hiori reached for her phone made a dummy account then
she typed and posted at tweetter
'In a week, the world will be in chaos! do what you can! save who you can! Prepare yourselves!''

Hiori logged in her main account and retweeted the post.
Hiori read a few replies then she mumbles ''as long as they read it when it happens they'll be able to get their wits together''
Hiori lay down at her bed making a 'plop' sound she rolled over a times then she tucked herself to sleep.

April 6th
*knock knock knock*
continuous of knocking at Hiori's door the knock stopped when it didn't received a reply. A couple of seconds passed the door creaked as it slowly opened a head sneaked in the gap looking around the room, after a few turn left to right the door close slowly as to not make any sound.
5:00
A phone lighted up while it vibrated, Hiori groans as she reaches for her phone to stop her alarm.
she scratches her stomach as she yawns, she got out of bed, folded her blanket then went to the bathroom to wash her face.
Hiori wore her uniform then went downstairs as usual she looked around and didn't see her dad so she greeted her mom.
''mother, good morning~''
''good morning my baby~~''
''how are you feeling today? hm?''
''I'm fine, I'm feeling really great today hehe''
''is that so? that's good, that's good.''
''by the way mom, where's dad?''
''oh, he went out earlier he was wearing his cycling outfit, maybe Mumei-chan's father invite him to have some morning exercise~''

Hiori puts her hands together ''that was a good meal'' she stood up as soon as she said it.
''glad you enjoyed it, wait do you have enough allowance?'' mom handed her a white envelope
''here, don't forget to treat Mumei-chan she suffered a bit yesterday~''
Hiori smiled ''Mm! thanks mom you're the best!~'' she took it with both of her hands then she grabbed her bag then went out.
Hiori waited for a bit, as soon as she saw Mumei's silhouette she ran up to her with a smile on her face. The two of them walked together on their way to school they talked pretty much anything on the way.

school ended and Hiori is taking a leisure walk home and just like before she didn't see Mumei during lunchtime (hmm she's probably with him)
(I wonder where dad rode to...wait does he even do cycling? eh?)
Hiori stopped walking and just stood there like a statue, after a good while she shook her head and started walking again.
April 9th, Friday

Hiori sighed as she puts down her pencil she looked around her, everyone but her are hurrying to go to their clubs then she looked beside her but it was an empty seat. Mumei is nowhere to be seen.
It's the same as before, but last time I can see her around but this time I just can't (Is Meimei a ghost? haha now I'm just being crazy)
since Hiori didn't join a club and she finished all of her homework she decided to go home early, she pack her things and stuff it at her bag and she goes.
halfway through her phone rang it played a song as it vibrated, she took her phone out 'Riri-chan' is written on it she immediately answered it ''Hello~? Riri-chan? what's up?''
''Hello Yori? AH finallly! girl I've been calling you for like twenty times already~~ huhuhu''
''eh?''
