The Room

Splitter leads Emily all the way to the end of the barraks. "And this one is yours. Unfortunately we don't have any women's barracks because the women that do work here work in different departments and each department gets their own sleeping quarters." He says as he rubs the back of his head. "Oh, and, Dinner is at 5:30. I'll make sure to give you a schedule of our activities before you go to bed tonight. see ya!" he says as he runs off into another hallway

Emily finishes unpacking her bags and looks at the clock. "Well, it's only 3:27, so I guess I have some time to kill." She says to herself. She looks around and notices a work bench with some tools and scrap metal and other materials. "Well, well, well, won't this be fun?" She says as she cracks her knuckles and starts making things.

Emily can hear Kaine's footsteps approaching her room. She turns off her music and opens the door just before Kaine knocks. "Oh, hello there Emily! It is time for dinner, and I wanted to walk with you." He says with a smile. "Um, actually, I'd like to walk alone right now if that's ok with you. I just need to think about an invention I started making and quietness is nice." She replies in an awkward manner. "Well, okay then. I'll see you there." He says with a slight confusion and sadness in his voice.
