A new World

As the swordsmen closed in on the survivors, slashing and killing with ruthless efficiency, it seemed that all was lost. But then, in a moment of desperation, a timid and unassuming student named Jason made his move.

Jason, who was small and lanky with delicate features, was not known for his bravery and was generally an unassuming character, often being teased. But as he saw his friends and classmates being slaughtered before his eyes, he knew that he had to do something.

So he reached into his bag and pulled out his portable speaker, a cheap and battered device that he had brought with him on the trip for entertainment. And with a fierce determination that belied his shy and timid nature, he activated the speaker and cranked up the volume to its maximum.

The sudden blast of Kpop music caught the swordsmen off guard, and for a split second, their attention was diverted. And in that moment, Chun saw her opportunity. She grabbed her two friends and pulled them to their feet, signalling for them to run as fast as they could.

Jason, realising that his distraction had worked, ducked out of sight and disappeared into the chaos, his small and slender frame blending in with the confusion and panic. As the survivors fled, most of the swordsmen were stunned by the sudden and unexpected outburst of sound, and they hesitated for just a moment, unsure of what to do.

But as the music continued to blare and the survivors scattered, the swordsmen quickly regained their focus, their swords flashing as they set off in pursuit. And in the midst of all the confusion and chaos, Jason's bravery and quick thinking had given the survivors a chance, a chance to escape and to survive another day.

Teo, Taeyang, and Chun reacted quickly, running with all their might away from the crash site. Taeyang glanced over his shoulder and saw Mr. Kim doing the same in another direction, leading a group of students and other surviving passengers, including the school bully Jitae and his two sidekicks, an older woman and what looked like a businessman in his late 40s, away from the danger.

Jitae was a towering figure, his muscular build and height intimidating to those around him. He was stronger than most adults, even at his young age of 17. Rumors swirled about his ties to the local triads in his hometown, adding to his fearsome reputation. His favorite pasttime was in fact getting Jason and other perceived weaker students to donate their lunch money to him. But in this moment, he was just as scared and vulnerable as the rest of the survivors.

"We have to get out of here!" Taeyang yelled as the three friends raced through the forest, trying to put as much distance between themselves and the swordsmen as possible.

"I know, I know!" Teo panted, his legs pumping as he tried to keep up with the others. "But where do we go?"

"We have to find a way back home," Chun said determinedly, her mind racing as she tried to come up with a plan. "We have to find the portal and see if we can somehow go back through it."

As they ran, they could hear the sounds of chaos and destruction behind them. They knew they had to keep moving, but eventually, they were forced to stop, their bodies exhausted from the exertion.

"We can't keep running like this," Chun panted, leaning against a tree to catch her breath. "We have to move slower and cover our tracks. Like hunters do when they go on hunts to shoot wild game."

"Good idea," Teo said, nodding. "We don't want the swordsmen to be able to track us down."

As they moved through the forest, the three friends did their best to obscure their tracks and hide their presence. Following Chun's advice, they moved slowly and carefully, trying to make as little noise as possible.

They used branches and leaves to sweep away their footprints, taking care to blend in with their surroundings as much as possible. They avoided making too much noise, speaking in hushed tones and avoiding stepping on twigs or leaves that might give them away.

In addition to covering their tracks, they also took care to obscure their scent. They avoided touching plants or animals, knowing that the swordsmen might be able to use their senses to track them down. And they tried to stay downwind whenever possible, knowing that their scent could give them away.

It was slow and painstaking work, but they knew it was necessary if they wanted to stay ahead of the swordsmen.

Slowly, the screams in the background grew fainter and stopped. It seemed they succeeded in distancing themselves from the carnage.

Teo, the quiet and introverted member of the group, was struggling to come to terms with the sudden and violent change in their circumstances. He had always been the strong, silent type, but even he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the situation they found themselves in. Despite his training in martial arts and sports, he knew they were no match for the skilled swordsmen they had encountered, and he couldn't shake the feeling that they were in over their heads.

Taeyang, on the other hand, was trying to keep up a brave front, but underneath his carefree exterior, he was just as scared as the rest of them. He was used to being the life of the party, but in this strange and dangerous world, he wasn't sure how to act. He was torn between his desire to protect his friends and his fear of the unknown.

Chun, the brains of the group, was trying to keep a cool head and come up with a plan. She was intelligent and resourceful, and she knew they needed to find a way out of this mess. But even she couldn't shake the feeling of dread that seemed to hang over them as they moved deeper into the unknown.

"That older swordsman's skills were so fast and precise," Taeyang said, still in disbelief as they made their way through the forest. "It was like he had a superpower or something. He even managed to deflect the Air Marshall's bullet! Is that even possible?!"

"I know, right?" Teo agreed, shaking his head. "I've never seen anyone move like that before. It was like he was sped up somehow, it was incredible."

"We have to be careful," Chun warned, her expression serious. "If we run into him again, we might not be so lucky."

Taeyang nodded, a somber look on his face. "I know. But how are we going to get out of this place if we can't even defend ourselves against someone like that?"

"I think we've entered a different world like the Air Marshall said," Teo said, his voice full of wonder as they made their way through the dense forest. "It's like something out of a Wuxia novel."

"I don't know about that," Chun said skeptically. "But I can't deny that everything that's happened so far has been very out of the ordinary."

As the evening began to fall, the three friends started to search for a place to rest for the night. They were exhausted, hungry, and thirsty, and they knew they needed to find some shelter and rest before they could continue on their journey.

After searching for a while, they finally came across a cave, and they decided to make camp there for the night.

"At least we'll be safe from the swordsmen in here," Taeyang said, trying to find a silver lining.

"But we don't have any food or water," Chun pointed out. "Or any other resources."

"We'll have to make do with what we have," Teo said, trying to stay positive.

As the night wore on, the three friends tried to get some rest in the relative safety of the cave. But despite their exhaustion, sleep eluded them, their minds racing with thoughts of the swordsmen and their uncertain future.

"I can't believe this is happening," Taeyang said, his voice filled with despair. "We were just on a school trip, and now we're stuck in some sort of Wuxia martial arts world."

"I know," Teo said, trying to comfort his friend. "It's hard to wrap our heads around it. But we have to stay strong. We have to find a way back home."

"But how?" Chun asked, her voice laced with frustration. "We don't even know where to start. We have no food or water, and we have no idea how to find the portal."

"We'll figure it out," Teo said determinedly. "We just have to stay positive and keep searching."

As they huddled together in the cave, the three friends knew that they had a long and difficult journey ahead of them.

The next morning, they set out in search of the mysterious portal that they hoped would lead them back home. But as they searched, they found no trace of any kind of portal, no matter how hard they looked.

"There's nothing here," Chun said, her voice laced with frustration as she scoured the area for any sign of the portal. "It's like it was never here to begin with."

"Maybe it was a temporary break in the fabric between two universes," Teo suggested, his brow furrowed in thought. "Something that opened and closed before we even knew it was there."

"But how do we get back through it if it's closed?" Taeyang asked, his voice filled with despair. "We're stuck here forever."

No one commented further as they brooded in silence. Teo tried to check his mobile phone, but of course it was without signal, with the battery on the verge of dying.

"Sigh"

What was he even thinking, it was stupid to even try to check if he would still have mobile service given the absurdity of their situation. His 18th birthday was around the corner and now his mum and dad wouldn't even be able to contact him...

"Guys, snap out of it now, we need to find water first or we will legit die in two days before we find any portal"

Chun took charge and kicked both boys hard, nudging them on.

"Lets go check out those mountains in the distance, there could be a stream nearby."

So when they came upon a stream flowing through the mountains, they were overjoyed, and they stopped to drink and rest for a while.

As they sat by the stream, they noticed a road running parallel to it, a road that led to a bridge crossing. And as they watched, they saw a figure approaching from the distance.
