Test run

<One year later>

(First POV)

Sitting on a cliff that overlooked a portion of the still unknown forest he was in sat Akihito. He was sitting cross legged with eight different elements floating around him in the shape of balls. The grass around him was different from the rest of the dark green grass.

Akihito had been using his nature control to make the grass healthy, but instead of doing all of the grass he focused on the grass around him in a 10 meter radius. This was all without mana as well.

He did have to use it on some occasions to get a feel for the other elements though. Breathing in Akihito opened his eyes as the balls of elements stopped rotating and spinning around him.

He can control the four main elements and Lightning, Ice, nature, darkness/shadow, and lastly light. In the one year he's been training he has almost perfect control over the elements and can use them with a thought.

With his space manipulation he has also had huge progress with it, because he trains it more often. He has mana so he can use the other elements even without the wish for elemental control.

Akihito came up with five levels of spatial mastery.

Basic level: You can creat space or delete it.

Advanced level: Teleportation, Distance manipulation, Space adaption, Spatial attacks, Spatial barriers, Spatial construction, Spatial defiance.

At the advanced level you would already be considered a god in some worlds, but this was just the beginning. There was lots more to his Space manipulation than just teleporting and making "Inventories".

The rest of the levels are Expert, Master, and Ultimate. One he reaches Ultimate he can effectively be considered a god. Plus with his progress speed he'll be the strongest in this world with about two years, if your not taking in the fact that Kryptonians get stronger as they age.

That's mainly thanks to his Kryptonian genes though. His growth rate is extremely greater than it should be with how many elements he is practicing with. It should be cut in half really, but he gets energy from mana and the radiation from the sun.

He decided to hold off on using the powers that come with being Kryptonian till he controlled all of his other abilities. He did this because Kryptonians are born with those abilities, and can control them with a small amounting practice.

In the year he's been training he hadn't gained any types of muscles, but he does look a year older than his age. Other than normal practice with his control over the elements and his training he's built a little cabin for himself. That's how he spent a whole year with nonstop training.

<Present Day>

Today was the day that he planned on getting use to all of his Kryptonian powers. He stood up and and looked over the cliff calmly. The first test he wanted to do was use his heat vision.

All he had to do was focus radiation into his eyes. Once he had them in his eyes and they start to glow with a orangeish-red he projected the radiation out. As a Kryptonian he already knew how to use his powers instinctively.

Once his beams of radiation shot from his eyes they traveled down the cliff and smashed into a few tries. He started looking around, but only moving his eyes and the laser trailed behind him leaving smoke coming from the ground and setting trees on fire.

He stopped his heat vision and nodded in satisfaction.

"I think I got comics Kryptonians genes. Well I'm not complaining since it's crazy OP with enough development." He said lowly.

The next text would be super breath. Basically it allows him to suck in huge amounts of air like a vortex and lets him release the air making powerful winds.

Sucking in as much air as he can for two minutes straight he blew the air from his mouth and immediately a dust cloud rose from the ground. Akihito controlled the air to remove the dust cloud and it revealed a clearing like a meteor had struck in that area.

He stared blankly at that area and thought about how strong he is with only a year of training. It was crazy actually and he wasn't even going all out. It made him wonder what his limits were in terms of strength in this world.

He shook the thought away and decided that after today or later today that he'd just go out fighting monsters. Even if he did end up badly wounded with his regenerative abilities he'll be fine.

Even if he did get scars that won't heal he could use his heat vision to mend the tissue and skin together. It'll hurt like hell though.

"*Sigh*" With a small sigh he got back to testing his powers.

After super breath he wanted to try freezing breath. He also wanted to see if his ice from his breath is stronger than the ice he can creat from Ice manipulation.

He made some ice on the grass beneath him and made sure that it only froze in the area he wanted it too freeze. Then he blew a sharp breath on the ground again and it started freezing the grass.

He then punched the ice he made with his breath. He didn't use all his strength, but it had spiderweb cracks all over it. It looked like any sudden move would make it crumple down to little pieces in a small pile.

He did the same thing to his other Ice and it only cracked slight. It was obvious which was stronger. Honestly he was a bit surprised. His Kryptonian abilities might be weaker for now, but that's only because he's just now getting them developed. Plus he needs time to grow.

The next power he wanted to test was X-ray vision, just as he was about to use it a chill ran down his spine. He immediately rolled to the right just in time to dodge a sharp white tail.

As he looked at the owner of said tail he could only sigh.

'Isn't fighting a emperor Vestas right now too annoying?' Akihito had fought three of these already. The emperor Vestas is basicallya huge 30 feet long pure white snake.

It has a deadly poison that kills from the inside out and it's whole body is one big overgrown muscle. It has scales that are as hard as diamonds and sharp fangs. It's also fast as hell.

It's too bad all he was good for was serving as his food. Well it was good for food and he used it to train his reaction time since it's fast. At first it was hard and he was getting pummeled, but he soon started adapting to it's speed and it's poison never had an effect since his healing was too good.

When he was done training with it he just killed it, then cooked it. And as Akihito looking at yet another plate of lunch and dinner he stood up calmly and just looked at the snake as it hissed at him.

It's actually been about three months since he last fought one. After the second one he got bored of them and now just uses them as food. While he was thinking about this the snake shot forward with its mouth wide open.

It's fangs were already covered in purple poison as it was already in front of him. He took a small step to the side letting the snake fly right past him and off the cliff.

"Dumbass." Akihito muttered and he caught the snake in a ball of ice, making it float up towards him. On the inside the snake was slithering around everywhere and slamming its tail into the ice.

It was all futile as Akihito made spikes fill up the iceball. It stabbed into the snake and he made the ice melt once it touched the ground. The Vestas was shown with huge holes in his body.

"Lame as usual." Akihito muttered as he put the snake into his "inventory."

Well he already knew how all of his powers work and he was just bored now. There is one thing he wanted to do though.

Fly.

It's something most humans wanted to do without the use of a plane or other machines. For Kryptonians their bodies store energy actively within their bio-cellular matrix as an energy pattern which is linked to their bodies electromagnetic field.

This gives them the ability to fly. Well actually they manipulate the electromagnetic field around then to negate the normal electromagnetic field of a planet or wherever they are. That's the "science" behind them being able to fly.

Akihito knew this and walked to the edge of the cliff. Taking a deep breath he jumped off with all his strength. As his body was sent flying past the clouds Akihito had a thought.

'I should learn some hand to hand combat. Work with the knights for a while would be good, or I can find a dojo and then be a mercenary.'
