Chapter 12 - His Two Years Training of Mana

"Drake." His spirit dragon called his name as soon as he appeared. After all, his dragon had to deliver some news to him.

Hora followed Drake from that forest to this house. He was actually glad other people could help Drake.

"It was a success, at least we're not wandering along not having a place to stay." Drake told Hora everything. He explained his plan before, asking his dragon to bring back one of the diamonds.

"But, how much diamond did we have again? I didn't count since I saw a lot of them." Drake never counted how many diamonds or other treasure they had collected. Thinking how wealthy he must be right now, a smug smile visible on his face.

After all, who didn't like money?

"Well, if you want to know, It's like the sands of the sea." Hora said. The number of treasures they got was enormous.

He really liked treasure. It was a dragon's nature to like those sparkling things. In fact, the treasure Drake found was collected by other dragons before. It had a faint trace of their smells, though maybe their existence had already disappear long ago.

"By the way Drake, let's meet my dad. He was already waiting for you." Hora had already explained one to two things to his dad. Rohans was surprised Drake could accomplish his first mission in a short time, not to mention the sum of gold and diamond his son brought back.

So it's finally time to meet that old dragon. But unfortunately, Drake didn't remember the mantra. That time, he was unconsciously do the chanting and he never knew how to rewrite the sigil.

"I need the book, Hora." He wasn't sure he could read those heaven languages again.

"Don't worry, you'll find it easy." There was a red smoky energy around Hora. As the energy became wider, the book was fallen to the floor.

When the first time Drake opened the book, he couldn't read anything inside. Let's see if he's capable of reading something.

The book was flipped through page to page. Drake's expression was full of smirk and light sparkling on his eyes. How could he read all of them without any problem? This must be the power of blessing.

Right, then how about the sigil. When he was about to ask Hora, that dragon already gave the answer to him. "I don't know, don't ask me. Chanter should have remembered the sigil themselves."

"There's no other way? I couldn't possibly remember the sigil I was unconsciously made."

Hora fluttered his wings, "Try to focus on your mana energy once again. It should be less difficult to recall it."

And just like his spirit guy said, as soon as the crimson red was staining the floor, with his powerful mana Drake could draw the sigil once again.

Now when he looked at the sigil, he was sure he would remember every line that stroked in the circles.

"Great, my dad is ready to bring you in."

The same situation happened again. With the heaven language repeatedly came out from his voice, his room was melting from corner to corner. It then turned into a beautiful huge green field landscape, with no ending he could see.

The scent of grass and the warmth of sunlight, this was totally different from the last time. No red blooded sky and burning smell.

"Welcome, son of Adams," Rohans was already in front of Drake. His tall head was slightly bowed to him.

"Hi Rohans, you look as big as before." Drake said as he rub Rohans head.

He never stopped to be amazed at how enormous this dragon was. Could Hora transform into this huge?

"Hey! I sure can." Hora said from behind. He surely can transform into any size he want, he just didn't have the power yet.

"Hm.. I see you've created a great chemistry with your human, little boy." Rohans was proud of his amateur son. He was actually a little bit afraid Hora would create some troubles.

"Well, he had a great treasure." Hora said as if gold and money were the most important. He sure liked them, but truthfully, he was disappointed with himself.

How blood kept coming from Drake, and the unconscious body lying on the ground. If only he was strong enough.

He might not be able to help Drake fight that bear directly, but if he knew how to handle his fire energy, at least he could provide some light for Drake in that dark cave passage. All of this could be prevented.

And this was what made him promise to become stronger, in order to protect the ridiculous human like Drake. Yes, it's surely ridiculous to enter the forest alone. But what to do with the desperation and nothing to lose.

Rohans stomped his foot proudly, "Okay, then let's get started on the training for the three of you."

"Three?" Confused line was drawn on his face. Who is the other one?

"It's me," a clear voice was heard after him. As Drake looked back behind his shoulder, a form of bunny was seen. It was exactly the same bunny from the forest.

Well, it seems the training would be more interesting.

____

2 years later

"Is he going to the waterfall again?" Logy asked Delaney, who was polishing her sword.

After Marven let Logy take care of Drake, he was then pointing His team to be Drake's guard.

With Ash and Delany as a team, no one dared to touch him. Even they didn't hear anything from the knight of Wouster. No one is looking for Drake. Maybe the knight told Drake was already dead. Why bother looking the death then?

"Yes, he always meditated on the waterfall, said balancing his mana and so on." It's already been two years, but Drake never showed his mana to them. Even with sparring, he was always done with his skill only.

"I'm actually worried. We're not permitted to follow him. Glad Puca was with him all the time. At least she could protect him from any beast."

Delaney smiled when she thought of how Drake saw Puca for the first time in here. He was so mad that he was about to kill that panther. But who's the master right now?

That beast girl always following Drake whenever she wanted. Marven, who was literally the owner, kept flipping her and told her how she was so ungrateful as his pet.

"It was almost the time for his training, He was probably already on his way back."

Not only sword training, in these two years, Drake got the best teacher for his education as well. Though he once got the education in Wouster, they only taught limited knowledge for people like him.

But what made other people in awe, was that Drake could master any subject in a short time. Thanks to heaven's blessing, he could remember anything faster than normal people.

It was also deliberately be rumored that Drake was a successor noble, who lost his parents and a runaway from his relatives.

They made it like he stayed for protection. Marven made sure a secret of his status as a fugitive never leak out. Only some of them knew, including Logy and his team.

As the wind started to get chiller, Drake was finally ready to go back. His heavy feet stomped on the damp ground. Today's load was heavier than usual.

The sack of load was tied up tightly on his hands and his feet. It was one of the training he endured everyday. While he trained his mana and chanting with the dragon, it was the best choice to train his body and stamina in the real world.

"Hey Hora, don't scare the girl. You're a big guy, you know?" Puca was always wary of Hora. As he appeared, his figure was not like the little dragon he met at the first time.

Now his wings could spread widely enough to scare any monster. That's what Elmon said last time.

That bunny too, was increasingly improved for two years. Drake was surprised to meet him that day with Rohans.

Long story short, Elmon was one of the high ranking monsters from the underworld. But because something happened there, he was forcefully turned into a fragile bunny monster. That was the most humiliating moment in his life.

"Well, I'm not scaring her." Hora turned his body into a small dragon again. Right now, he could even manipulate his size.

As Puca saw that dragon in small form, that panther demeanor was more at ease.

In these two years, no one knew how hard the three of them were training. Time in the dragon dimension was longer than in the real world. Though people notice how much the time Drake spent meditating in the waterfall, they never knew how long exactly he was in that dimension.

As he arrived at home, Drake directly went to the training yard. Marven and the other guys were already waiting for him.

When Samoa decided to send the best candidate to teach Drake, none of them could actually surpass Marven as the sword master. That's why he decided to do the teaching himself.

Today's sparring would be much different than usual. As Drake approached the ground, Marven already boosted his mana.

Logy who was watching behind them was shocked. So this time, Drake will use the mana they never have seen before.

Actually, there was a doubt between them that Drake was not a user. But Delaney said she surely saw Drake use his mana in the forest.

"Oi!" Ash threw the swords at Drake. He also thought this sparring would be more fun.

Drake then removed the loads from his body. And as soon as he focused on his mana, a blast of brightening and powerful aura was incredibly shown.

"Ha! I know you are an interesting guy!" Marven said, excited with what he just saw.
