Chapter 18 : The Kidnapping
After months of living in the Kim's mansion, I was starting to feel a sense of comfort in my new surroundings. With Namjoon away on business trips, Jimin and I decided to make the most of our time together. We borrowed Namjoon's car, courtesy of Jimin's quick call, and indulged in a night out at luxurious restaurants. I hadn't felt this carefree in a long time, and Jimin's company only added to the joy.
As we drove back to the mansion, our evening was abruptly disrupted. Suddenly, the car jolted to a halt, hit by an unseen force. We exchanged worried glances and stepped out to assess the damage. Jimin attempted to protect me from the stranger, his voice firm and commanding. "Stay back, Cha Eun-woo! Don't come any closer to us, especially her!" But his warning fell on deaf ears. The stranger effortlessly overpowered Jimin, leaving him writhing in agony on the ground. Then, his attention turned to me. His grip was like a vice, refusing to yield despite my frantic screams and kicks. He dragged me away, his hold unrelenting, and I was consumed by darkness.
Cha Eun Woo's POV
As they emerged from the car, my eyes scanned the duo, expecting to see Namjoon. But instead, my gaze landed on a vision of loveliness. She stepped out of the vehicle, her eyes wide with fear, and her beauty struck me like a thunderbolt. I felt a jolt of surprise, my mind momentarily stunned by her radiance.
