Wow, this system is even crazier than I thought. As soon as I opened my eyes, a transparent dialog box flashed before me, detailing my first task. I read it with growing anger. "Is this some kind of cruel joke?" I yelled, my voice echoing in the silence of my room. "How am I supposed to bring this group to the top when my own life is in shambles?"
Before the system could offer its usual indifferent response, the door to my room swung open. Standing there was Casey, my former bandmate and brother. It felt like an eternity since we had last seen each other. His gaze was a mixture of concern and pity, as if he was looking at a madman who had escaped from a madhouse.
"What the hell is going on here?" Casey demanded, his voice laced with exasperation.
Without a moment's hesitation, I rushed towards Casey and enveloped him in a tight embrace. Tears streamed down my face as the fear of losing him once again gripped me. I clung to him desperately.
Casey, taken aback by my sudden outburst, tried to push me away. But I held on firmly, my grip fueled by a desperate need for comfort and reassurance.
"Let go of me, Dan!" Casey exclaimed, his voice tinged with both concern and frustration. "What's wrong with you?"
My emotions spilled over, and I ignored Casey's protests, continuing to cling to him. "I thought you were gone," I sobbed, my voice choked with emotion. "I thought I had lost everything."
"Let go! What kind of nonsense is this?" Casey shouted, frustration lacing his voice. "Ah, hyung!" I cried out as he pushed me away, causing me to stumble and hit my head on the sharp corner of the bed. At the same time, the system's dialogue box flickered back to life, its presence an unwelcome intrusion in my turmoil.

"You don't have to tell me that," I yelled in my head, my voice trembling with frustration. "I know who he is!"
[This is my job. Please don't bother.]
As usual my stupid system mocked me.
"Come to eat!" Casey left the door wide open, I cast a lingering glance around the room where I had spent my formative years, a room that now bore witness to my solitary existence. With a final fix of my hair, I stepped out of the room, leaving the memories behind.
Oh forgot, I have a big bad temper.
I had been granted a single room in the dorm, a concession made by my fellow members who had witnessed my explosive temper and decided to give me a wide berth.
Unlike Casey, who had always been adept at navigating social situations even had a short temper, I had a tendency to let my anger get the better of me. That's why Casey was the only one brave enough to talk to me for a long time.
When I went to our very messy living room, four people were sitting around the small table in the middle of the room. As usual, while Casey was holding his hands across his chest, the others were all saying different things and shouting.
I felt full. I missed these things a lot. "Ah, Dan." Tim saw me and waved his hands. But then again- damn you system!

"Would you please cancel this personal introduction function?" I pleaded, my eyes straining from the incessant barrage of information.
[Are you sure about that?] the system inquired.
"Oh yes, definitely," I affirmed.
Tim, upon noticing my presence, seemed a bit flustered. He quickly scanned the food tray, his eyes betraying a hint of anxiety. "I got you the meat ones. Did you want to come eat with us?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.
Despite having lived together in this dorm for two years, I had never formed a close bond with any of my fellow members. It was at this moment that I caught a glimpse of a message hidden within the corner of the dialog box.
[Starting points - 100. OUT OF CHARACTER BEHAVIOR!!!!!!! Deducted ten marks.]
This ridiculous system had not even bothered to warn me beforehand. I had never encountered such a nonsensical and poorly designed AI!
[Just like having seen a system before.] There it went, mocking me once again.
Despite the urge to join them, the system's alarms blared in my mind, akin to a hundred bells ringing simultaneously.
[Hints of danger!!!!! Lee Dan of the past always ate alone. Would you be willing to exchange fifty points for dining with them?]
What the fuck?!!!!!!!
"I'll eat in the room." Consumed by a surge of anger, I managed to grab a dish of vegetables before retreating to my room. My abrupt departure was met with no surprise or concern, a testament to my frequent outbursts.
I collapsed onto the bed, reluctantly forcing eat down the vegetables.
I remember Tim was always kind to me no matter how hard I was to them. Even so, all I did was hurt them every day. You are a terrible bastard, Lee Dan!
Wizardy, the group I joined in 2021, had achieved nothing since our debut. The weight of our failures and my shortcomings pressed down upon me, threatening to crush my spirit.
The system's reappearance, accompanied by a jarring 'ding' sound, only exacerbated my frustration.
[Please make sure you accept your first task.]
"Don't you realize that's impossible?" I exclaimed, my voice laced with exasperation. "You expect us to become the top group on a Competition show when people don't even know who we are?"
The system's response was devoid of empathy. [That's your problem, not mine. So, do you accept the task?]
"Can I refuse?" I inquired, a glimmer of hope flickering within me.
The system's response was swift and unwavering. [No.]
I slammed my hand against my forehead, my frustration boiling over. "Then why the hell are you asking me for an answer? Damn it!" I cursed, the weight of the system's demands pressing down upon me.
