One side slaughter

{ Dragon's Wave } Alter used his skill as his spear came crashing down on the golem that immediately used its 6 hands to block the impacts. Once they both clashed, the ground broke into several pieces causing a crater beneath the golem that has been buried inside it.

Alter dashed a few meters back as he looked at his hands which were trembling non-stop and they were bleeding. His face even became paler than before.

"I have to finish this quickly," Alter thought as he gritted his teeth. If it hadn't been for Group 6 attacking them he wouldn't have lost so much energy.

The ground began to shake as the golem levitated in the air again and its bright orange core on its chest began to glow brightly showing its fury.

The golem then stretched out its left arms pointing it at Alter, which then transformed into an energy gun and released a huge blast of fire at him. However, Alter was quick and started spinning his three-pointed spear, which immediately acted as a barrier and shielded his body from the blast. Now it really seems that the golem is focused on Alter.

"Vritra now!!" Alter yelled as a girl who looked around 8 years old jumped from behind him. Vritra threw her broad sword to the golem's face as she also disappeared. Once the broad sword reached the golems face Vritra reappeared and grabbed her broad sword swiftly as she used her skill "{ Asura's Wrath }!!" Her broad sword began to glow brightly as it was covered in pure red flames which she used to slash the golem on the head. "Booommm!!" A powerful impact could be heard as a harsh gust of wind blew from all directions almost wanting to blow the children away.

Vritra landed with a huge thump as the ground beneath her cracked. Her dark purple eyes tried to peer through the smoke caused by her skill, as her short black hair kept swaying left and right. Even so, she never let go of her tight grip on her broad sword.

All of a sudden the smoke that was surrounding the view of the monster immediately disappeared as they started to tremble at what they just saw.

Over there was Alter who was stabbed in the abdomen by a mechanical-looking tail that was connected to the stone golem.

All of the children's faces darkened as they witnessed one of their strongest fighters who was almost half dead and being carried by the golem like a fork that pierced a bean.

"Kasuki shouldn't we help them," Meiru asked nervously as she looked at her group. Are they really going to hide here and watch those children die?

"They failing the games has nothing to do with us, we don't need to risk our lives to help them," Heili grumbled as she glared at Meiru with her green eyes. If the strongest fighters in their group couldn't handle it, what more of them.

"Ray!" Meiru looked at Ray with pleading yet nervous eyes.

Ray didn't even turn to look at Meiru but he spoke in a threatening voice: "We are not helping them. Let's go."

Kamare, Heili, Nero and Ray all got up as they left in a different direction away from the golem.

Meiru gritted her teeth as she looked back one more time as the other children were losing hope in defeating the monster. After that, she turned away to follow her group.

In the family games, you must be strong to overcome the trials and not be weak. Helping others could be your greatest weakness.

"Let go of my big brother," a young dark-skinned girl with bright green eyes, with dark black hair who looked around 6 years old yelled as she raised her sword that glowed with a bright light.

" The light that shines and overcomes darkness, shall be my divine might!!" The young girl yelled as she leaped forward and the bright light crashed with the stone golem.

The golem withdraw its tail from Alter, which caused him to fall down but he was excessively bleeding. One of the children teleported to Alter and picked him up, and returned back before the dark-skinned girl could finish her spell.

"Greeeeeeeeee!!" The stone golem shrieked in pain as it fell to the ground and was destroyed by the light. Its body started to burn with a lingering black smoke behind it until its entire body was gone.

"Xiao!!" Vritra yelled as she ran towards the dark-skinned girl and caught her before she fell. Xiao coughed a mouth full of blood as her face became pale.

"How could you use a skill more powerful than your level?" Vritra asked with a serious look on her face and was feeling guilty, since it's her Group 6 that attacked Group 2.

As Vritra held on to Xiao who just sacrificed herself to save everyone, two people in black suits appeared behind her in a flash which startled Vritra.

She turned to look at a man and a woman who were both wearing black suits that were slightly tight but enough to high all of their features.

The woman walked up to Xiao and the man walked to Alter as they both spoke in harmony, "Group 2 Xiao has failed the Games and would be taken back for medical care."

"Group 2 Alter has failed the family Games and would be taken back for extensive medical care."

As both of the black suit people were done they immediately disappeared.

Vritra and the rest of the children were stunned by the two people who came for the siblings Alter and Xiao.

'Are these the ability users placed here to get those who fail?' Vritra questioned herself, 'I could barely sense them.' This then caused Vritra to be confused, if there are strong Ability Users placed here to get the failing participants, why couldn't they have saved them in the first place? Do they really not care if the children here were to be in a near-death state. Thinking about this made Vritra tremble a bit before she got herself up. No matter what they still had to continue the games until the third day ends.

Shiro and her group had formed their strategy that they would use to attack random monsters that appeared.

Stab, pierce, slash!

These wounds could be heard in the middle of a forest whereas Shiro and her group were hunting monsters. In order to raise their levels and also get the required amount of defeated beast, they made a plan to use the Blood Knight when they couldn't defeat the monsters. And things became much more easier for them since the Blood Knight was basically made out of blood so it kept on attracting monsters.

When monsters appear at their marked location, Krumi would sit on the floating cloth to be above the marked point and cast a lighting cage spell to trap the monster. Then Tael and Sheila would also attack the monster from the back, whiles Shiro and Ozymandias would attack from behind and Krumi would finish it from above.

Well, Shiro had to use the blood Knight, since she was not relatively strong. Whenever they killed the monster they would leave the blood there to attract other monsters. And Tael and Ozymandias would place the carcass in the system inventory. They killed monsters from F Class to C Class, as they made sure not to turn into a B Class in case the Blood Knight couldn't handle it.

They only had two hours to use the Blood Knight, so they had to make the most of it.

As they kept killing these monsters their levels also increased greatly which caused the work to be easier. Everyone in the group were smiling and laughing as they slaughtered those monsters, especially Tael who beamed with joy. He hasn't been able to fight to his full capabilities during these two days so he was quite energetic.

If any of the groups should have passed by the scene they would have definitely wanted to stab these folk. They are here fighting for their lives, but these people are rather having fun.

On the other side where the parents were located, their eyes darkened as they witnessed the children's struggles with the golem, some were angry, furious and hurt, while others were snickering behind their backs.

Once the fight was over Alter and Xiao were disqualified, the screen was changed to inspect the other groups. However, once they saw what they were doing they almost coughed a mouthful of blood.

This was not even counted as a survival game again, it was a complete one-sided slaughter. Some of the parents actually felt pity for the poor Rift monster that targeted that group. And every time the Blood Knight would slash a strong monster, the other parents would gulp at the terrifying strength of the Blood Knight.

As for Mutsuba, and Takase they both glared at the screen since they didn't enjoy the fact that Isakawa's daughter was perfectly fine. But for Tomita, he just had a faint smile on his face as he witnessed his son working with others for the first time.

Finally, the two hours for the Blood Knight was up and it disappeared and turned into a pool of blood.

"Awwww, I wanted to farm some more," Shiro whined as her check puffed out.

Tael just glanced at her as an image of a cute-looking animal came to his head, and he wasn't the only one thinking about this but rather, Sheila, Krumi and Ozymandias, "Chipmunk!!"

Krumi tried to calm down as she held Shiro and Sheila's hands, "Don't cry Shiro, we must leave her before stringer monsters come." Krumi spoke in a soft yet persuasive voice.

"Okay..," Shiro answered reluctantly. They were getting so much exp, but as they say 'Safety first.'

Tael and Ozymandias were leading the group as they left their current location as they were on their way to explore the rest of the Rift.

Everyone in Ray's group also began hunting for monsters since they've been lazy since the games started. Or more like they couldn't defeat the monster without Ray's help since they only encountered strong monsters. After half of the day, they managed to kill up to 20 Rift monsters they encountered. Unfortunately it couldn't match up to Shiro's group that had killed over 50 Rfut monsters they attracted, with the help of the strong and trustworthy Blood Knight.

Even so you can't blame them for shamelessly farming exp with a powerful summon.

As they continued to walk through a new grassland location, the air was peaceful and they sat down to rest. But they didn't know the disaster that was yet to come.

Ray laid down on a floating tech mattress which was produced by a round floating ball his father gave him. Inside it was like a storage ring, but this one was only limited to the Subaru family.

Meiru, Nero, Heili and Kamare all sat down as they prepared some lunch to eat.

"Ray!!" Heili called out as she walked out to the boy resting. 'He actually looks quite cute when he's sleeping peacefully like this,' Heili thought as she reaches out to touch his fair delicate skin. But before she could touch him, he grabbed her hands and squeezed them.

"Ow, ow, ow, I'm sorry okay, so stop squeezing my hand it hurts you know," Heili cried as Ray immediately let go of her hands. He then looked at the red marks on her skin and apologized, "I'm sorry."

After that we got up from the mattress that disappeared and walked up to Kamre and the rest of the group. Heili was still standing there with her mouth wide open and her eyes full of shock. Did this just apologize? She then snapped out of daze and followed behind Ray, still shocked as she inspected him. 'Is he still Ray?'

As she continued to glare at him Ray was feeling highly uncomfortable as she kept staring at him but he didn't mind and continued to eat.

"Found you," Two cute yet creepy voices rang out from the nearby forest as their eyes were focused on only one person, Ray!
