Once I heard that,my heart broke."Oh,I'm excited to meet her!"I said being falsely enthusiastic.I rubbed my arm and bit my lip trying not to cry."Let's go,I need to change into my armour!"He Sang as we walked into the room.I immediately ran into the bathroom and tears slipped down my face.

Why do I care about him having a mate?I only met him today so why do I love him?I hated myself for having such feelings.I forgot to lock the bathroom door and when I looked up into the mirror I saw Alan leaning on the door frame frowning."Why are you crying?"he asked concerned.

"Nothing...I-I just miss my old friends..."I trailed off. "Oh ok"Alan said but I swore I saw a slight smirk.I gathered up my feelings and then I decided I would find myself my mate tonight at the ceremony."Ok I'll leave you to change"I said walking out of the toilet but Alan caught my wrist and spun me around making me crash into him.I immediately pushed away and he pouted,"What,no hug?".I shook my head no.His handsome smirk appeared on his face again.I averted my gaze and walked towards the bed,sitting down.
