Marlene and Amden walked side by side towards the other end of the hall.
"Mr. Vantistart, you left quite an impression on my mind since your birthday banquet," Marlene said. "And since then, you have been repeating astonishing feats regularly."
"Oh my!! To leave an impression on you is such a feat, Miss Vayer," Amden faked an expression of awe. "But I also mentioned how I have been unable to get you out of my head."
"And why so, Mr. Vantistart?" Marlene questioned.
"Miss Marlene, are you by any chance an actor?" Amden chuckled.
"Are you in a somewhat merry mood?" She said with narrowed eyes.
"Miss Marlene," Amden laughed. "At my banquet you were, if I use a respectful word, a lackey of Natale Clove, and I know very well that Natale truly believed himself in a position of power over you that day."
