The next day, Amden returned back to the academy.
Lexicon had investigated all about the three mercenary group and as he had expected, all the three groups had been completely eradicated. They had all been killed down to their last member. But what had made Amden truly disgusted was that even the family members of all the members had been killed. The mere doubt that someone from the group would have divulged any kind of information to their families was enough to commit such a heinous crime.
It had been a massacre. Thousands of innocent families had been killed in a blink.
Amden himself was no saint. Although he had not even gotten his first kill, he knew that he would not hesitate in the slightest to kill a few if the need arose, but to kill so many innocents was something he felt rage over.
