Alicia's Decision
It was the time of dusk, and two people, a young man and lady, were taking a stroll around the academy. The young man was Amden, and the young lady was Alicia Telon. Amden had called for this meeting with Alicia.
"So have you decided anything?" Amden questioned after they were done with the polite greetings.
"But let me update you on some things which are different from the previous time we talked," he said before she could answer. "My family and I are going through, say, a phase of conflict, and although I am confident in my abilities, you never know."
"Joining me can also put you in harm's way. But I assure you that I will help you gain unparalleled strength, and I know a lot about you."
"I have an idea about all this," she replied. She clearly would not be ignorant about such a big event and the news of duel between Amden and instructor at the gate of the academy was already spreading like a wildfire.
