I am

Sparks exploded from the clash of a bloody blade and the point of a spear. The latter was made of bones, grey bones, but seemed able to contrast the offensive of the huge double-bladed ax.

The youth bearing he spear staggered backward, pushed back by the strength of his opponent. He was pale, his hands gripped around the long wooden shaft were bleeding and his whole body was near complete exhaustion.

Even so, he stood against his enemy without hesitation, breathing heavily. At his side, there was another young man armed with a club made from the debris from one of the carriages that lied reversed on the ground not that far from them.

He also was visibly tired, giving concerned looks behind him. A green-haired maiden was there, her face white with terror and both her hand tightly holding a small bronze dagger.

"Does he even feel pain?"

This was the first time the group of youths had to confront someone who clearly didn't react to any of their pain-inducing techniques. Even the wildest beast had its weak points, but this berserker warrior seemed to be completely immune to any form of pain.

"Winter Leaf! What are you doing back there! Come and help us!"

Said the club-wielding youth, nervously looking towards his left: there another youth, a woman was slowing moving away from the fight.

The long-haired woman didn't react to her countrymen request, continuing moving away while keeping a long spear before as a deterrent.

"If you're not going to help, at least give them the spear you coward!"

Said suddenly the other woman, the one wrapped in white clothes. Winter Lead smiled, snickering loudly. She continued her movement, sharply answering.

"It's incredible, how much thick must be your face to say something like that while cowering behind someone else?"

"How do you dare mix! I'm from"

"Who cares from which line you are "

Star Leaf gritted her teeth, gripping her hand even more tightly on the kife. Her eyes burned with rage at the disrespect that a lowly member of a secondary line was showing her! In the village, she would have surely made her strip in the public square and whipped her until her skin became a bloody mess!

Now she could only grit her teeth in silent displeasure.

"Damn you stupid second line bitch, you're purpose is to secure my safety!" she exclaimed in rage.

Winter Leaf responded by dropping all pretense and starting to retreat at even a more rapid rate, going towards the side of the forest at the opposite to the one that the Fire Erth warriors came out from.

The Forest Will Tribe members weren't that pleased by her movement, the other youth brandishing a spear screaming in rage and promising great retribution if she failed to help them.

"Winter Leaf! What do you think are you doing! These are our sacred enemies! You NEED TO HELP US!"

His raging screaming stopped when he had to defend himself from the enemy warrior that attacked his anew, trying to slash him in two.

"Nobody is fleeing today!"

Cruelly exclaimed the red armored raider, sending a meaningful look toward the black haired woman that was trying to escape the fight. Takin a large breath he rotated the large weapon behind his head, leaving his body full of opening.

Instead of taking the risk and attacking now that he was vulnerable, the two moved away, too scared by the man savage behavior to ever want to directly attack him. Nobody between the two wanted to take the risk of being taken down by his last attack before dying.

The rapidly put some distance between them at the Fire Earth marauder, expecting that his attack could only touch them if they stayed close to him.

They were wrong.

Unexpectantly, the warrior didn't stop his movement when they moved away. The two youth didn't understand why, but the distant Winter Leaf narrowed her eyes ducking under a large piece of the carriage.

Even Star Leaf realized the danger, screaming and throwing herself to the ground in fear.

The two youth were shocked by the scream. The one holding a piece of wood as a club looked back, seeing the trembling green haired lady on the ground.

A flash passed through his eyes, immediately understanding what was happening.

However, it was already too late.

"FIRE AND EARTH!"

Accompanied by a war cry, the large weapon left the hand of the Fire Earth raider, flying unbridled towards the body of the club-wielding man.

The latter could do nothing, other than watch death moving at incredible speed towards him. He felt like if a moon ox charged him at full speed as he was literally jammed towards the ground, the grim blade almost cutting his body in half.

The remaining youth, trembled, he knew that without the help of someone he had no chance against a trained warrior from the Fire Earth tribe. Not even grown up and veteran hunters could go hand to hand with the maniacs from the Fire Earth Tribe.

He was done.

However, instead of running or despairing, he attacked, summoning the last remaining strength and courage he had.

Sadly, it wasn't enough. His clumsy attacked was stopped by a simple move from the enemy: a headbutt that sent him down on his knees. The warrior then proceeded to choke him with one hand, while the other retrieved the blade embedded in his dying friend.

"Weak, pathetic and weak"

Exclaimed the raider ignoring the high pressured blood splatters that went to further dirty his figure when he took back his weapon.

Star Leaf moved back from her position, looking desperately around in search of some help. She wasn't a warrior, and even if she were one she knew that one youth going alone against a Fire Earth berserker was even more than stupid.

"Stay down"

Ordered the man, passing his blade on the throat of the subdued spear youth like if it was the most natural thing to do.

He let the bleeding man dies while he moved towards the trembling maiden. Now that the battle was ended he begun to calm himself, abandoning his berserker-like state.

The young woman before him was incredibly attractive, but what he cared about the most was the green color of her hair. He didn't attack the group of youths randomly: he attacked them because of her.

A Leaf, a member of the main bloodline! He struck it rich!

The warrior put his foot on her back pushing her down on the ground while examining her closely.

"A young Leaf... you'll fetch me, Kuraio, a good price, hahaha"

Smiled the man. This was truly his lucky day, not only he had been forgiven by the chieftain after an offense, he also managed to put his hands on a true Leaf! His day of misery was long gone!

"She's also a Leaf! And she's an expert in herbalism too! Take her, let me go!"

Lamented the woman on the floor, pointing towards the fleeing Winter Leaf. The latter, hearing the words coming out from her clanswoman's mouth, almost fell down and coughed a mouth of blood.

"Despicable!"

She clearly wasn't a herbalist, however, she knew that they were very valuable to every Extreme Wilderness Tribe. Even if the accusation wasn't true, the Fire Earth warrior would want to put his hands on her regardless.

She started running even faster, but then a blade passed right from behind her with a whooshing sound and hit the ground before her.

"Stop, or die. Your choice"

Winter Leaf stopped, turning towards the far warrior: she immediately noticed the throwing blades on his hands, ready to be launched towards her fleeing back.

"You're mine now, woman. Come here."

Laughed the raider, his face stained with dark blood.

"No"

Coldly answered Winter Snow.

"I'm not."

Kuraio's face darkened, and he started to make the blade in his hand spin, keeping a grasp on them from a hole in their center.

"You are, or you're dead"

The man was pretty annoyed by this Forest Will Tribe woman. She was answering him in a cold detached voice, almost as she wasn't fearing him.

"Leave me go" she asked, her cold eyes moving towards the forest.

"You're fearless, I like it. But reasonable people should respect their master..."

"I do" immediately said the woman, her complexion paling, and her tone becoming softer. She looked concerned that her answer didn't sound sincere enough, so she repeated it again, softer and more clearly.

"I do respect my master"

"It doesn't look like that... how can you respect me without obeying me?" continued happily the warrior, noticing how it was easy to scare that Forest Will Member. Not easy to make her afraid? He wasn't thinking about it too much. She was clearly terrified!

"I only obey my master..." suddenly said the woman, making the raider feel the berserker rage boil again in his veins. This stupid youth was making fun of him?

"And who's your master?" asked the man, face darkening. He was ready to strike the moment she responded with anything else than -you-.

But she didn't. Instead, someone else responded for her.

"I am"

A cold, juvenile voice came out from nowhere. Kuraio felt his skin tingling, and a sharp killing intent started enveloped him.
