Prologue - Revised

Things will change, no matter how much we resist.

Time, space and energy are just a figment we create to manifest our will,

The way we use them is a testament to our grander part in this universe.

The days are not yet over for the brilliant scientist and engineer, Alexander Kane, The head researcher and creator of the (QDA) Quantum Disruption Accelerator, the once in a century invention that would revolutionize the way we see the world.

The researchers are frantic as today will be the very first human trials for the QDA's interdimensionally response. This trial has been experimented on various living and non-living objects except humans, they have proven that once the accelerator works, a huge iridescent portal would fill the area with a space of 4 metric cube. The first experiment were just various photosensors objects that the researchers program, an arduino microrobot with various visual sensors were the first to be deployed within the portal. Somehow when the object went inside, it caused various problems to the researchers, especially to Alexander, he piloted the microrobot but somehow it caused various static disruptions that made it impossible to see the inside of the portal.

Alexander's partner and vice-contributor to the research implementation Emma Smith was the one who suggested that they used Gallium Nitride (GaN) as the base materials when they implemented the new source for the microrobot on the next experiment.

"We should use Gallium Nitride (GaN) as the base for our microcontrollers for the upcoming experiment as this has various properties that could be used to explore the portal's space, I tested it accidentally when I tried various elements silicon alternatives, since most of our silicons have been completely unstable ever since they enter the space. This could suggest that the dimensions have different properties that might be impacting the various properties of the silicon element one of which I observed when I examine the silicon with our equipment, the semiconductor device were somehow turns into an insulator, this would typically result to the device becoming non-functional or losing its intended electronic properties. " Emma said to Alexander, with a stern look that shows her resolve for this project's success.

"Gallium nitride (GaN) semiconductor technology offers impressive performance advantages but also presents several considerations Emma.  Firstly, GaN wafers are more costly to produce than traditional silicon wafers, potentially limiting their use in cost-sensitive applications. Although our budget could be said to be quite enormous , we can't just spend it leisurely. Additionally, GaN's wide-bandgap nature necessitates specialized equipment and expertise for processing and fabrication, leading to higher manufacturing costs and extended development timelines. Effective thermal management is crucial as GaN devices can generate significant heat when operating at high power densities. Concerns about long-term reliability, especially in harsh conditions, require ongoing research and development efforts. GaN transistors often require higher gate voltage levels, which can complicate gate drive circuitry design. GaN devices are sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD), demanding careful handling during manufacturing. The evolving supply chain for GaN materials and devices may pose availability challenges. Engineers must adapt their designs to harness GaN's unique characteristics effectively. Competition from other wide-bandgap materials like silicon carbide (SiC) adds complexity to material selection, and market dynamics can influence availability and pricing. Finally, meeting regulatory and safety requirements, especially in power electronics applications, is essential when utilizing GaN-based devices. " Alexander points out his various concerns for the next base materials for the second microrobot-dimensionality travel experiment.

" So what should you suggest we use to solve this cost-time dilemma on our hand, Alexander, you're the chief and we both know the government is expecting great results for this device of yours." Emma said with a hinge of smirk for being downright decline on her honest opinions.

"We should start the human trials instead!" Alexander's smile creeps in.

"But that's dangerous, we aren't sure where this would lead to, what dangers this would implement on our bodies, I object to this one, Alexander, " Emma Shouted. Concerns for the lives at stake.

"It's already started and various results have been documented in secret. We tried it on several death row prisoners, and I would try it on myself as an unknown energy was being introduced to these prisoners, after they entered the portal. Some even healed their missing limbs and generated a new one after being exposed to the dimensions materials. This would change our world, the powers this new frontier would be not the same age we have. This would change the very fabric of our understanding of our universe. And I aim to be one of the giants that would be hailed for this new world" Alexander spills out the truth to Emma while looking into the machine with a hunger for power.

Emma storms out of the office after hearing this one out.

Sooner or later you would regret you're decision of defy me, Emma and you would realise the changes this brings

Alexander called the main operator of the QDA and advice that the experiment be commence,

" We'll start the next experiment and I will be the main pioneer for this one, I already informed the headquarters and they are eager for the results this would bring." Alexander said to the phone.

The room was a labyrinth of gleaming metal and pulsating energy coils. A circular platform dominated the center, with intricate control panels surrounding it. The air was thick with tension as Alexander adjusted his safety goggles and took a deep breath. He couldn't afford any mistakes now; the eyes of the scientific world were upon him. His colleagues watched with bated breath, unsure of what would happen next. Even Alexander, with all his expertise, could only guess at the outcome.

"Are we ready?" he called out to his team, his voice tinged with excitement and a touch of nervousness.

His lead technician, Dr. Sarah Turner, nodded and double-checked the readings on her console. "All systems are green, Alex. We're good to go."

Alexander smiled and stepped onto the platform, his heart pounding in his chest. He had spent countless sleepless nights pondering the implications of this moment. What lay beyond the boundaries of our reality? Could other dimensions, other worlds, be within reach?

As the final preparations were made, Alexander couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation.

Surrounded by a team of dedicated scientists, Alexander took his position at the control console. He pressed a series of buttons on a control panel, initiating the QDA's activation sequence. With a final keystroke, he initiated the experiment. The machine whirred to life, emitting a brilliant, otherworldly glow. The room seemed to pulse with energy, and for a moment, it felt as though the laws of physics themselves were being rewritten. The massive machine began to hum, and an ethereal blue glow enveloped him. A ripple of anticipation ran through the room as the energy built to a crescendo. The countdown began, and the room seemed to hold its breath. Ten...nine...eight...

But then, in the midst of the experiment, disaster struck.  A power surge surged through the QDA, causing sparks to fly and alarms to blare. Panic rippled through the laboratory as Alexander fought to regain control.  Suddenly, a glitch in the control system sent a shiver of panic through the room. Alexander's heart raced as he tried to diagnose the problem, but time was running out. Three...two...one... With a blinding flash of light and a deafening roar, the Quantum Collider sprang to life. The air crackled with energy, and a swirling vortex of colors erupted within the machine. It was a breathtaking sight, but it was also a catastrophe in the making. The machine's power surged out of control, causing a violent cascade of energy that tore through the lab. Equipment exploded, and the very air crackled with an unnatural force.

Desperate to prevent a catastrophic meltdown, he reached for the emergency shutdown lever. But it was too late.

Then, chaos erupted.

A blinding flash of light engulfed him, and in an instant, Alexander Kane vanished from the laboratory, leaving behind only a lingering echo of his name. Alexander was drawn into the maelstrom of the malfunctioning machine. Reality itself seemed to warp and twist around him as he was hurtled through the very fabric of the universe. He felt himself being torn apart, his atoms disintegrating into the unknown. Panic coursed through him as he hurtled through the whispering void, his last thought a desperate hope that he might survive this unprecedented accident.

As the rift in spacetime grew larger and more unstable, Alexander realized with dawning horror that something had gone terribly wrong. The experiment he had poured his life into had unleashed forces beyond his control.

A few hours before the commencement of the experiment. The laboratory was abuzz with activity as Dr. Alexander Kane and his team prepared for the highly anticipated Quantum Disruptor Accelerator (QDA)  human trial experiment. The room was filled with advanced equipment, blinking lights, and the soft hum of quantum machinery.

As the experiment began, tension filled the air. Dr. Kane, a brilliant physicist and enginner, closely monitored the QDA while his team observed the quantum data streams on their screens. Everything seemed to be going smoothly, but Emma, one of the scientists on the team, harbored a hidden agenda.

Emma had been driven by envy and resentment towards Dr. Kane. She believed that he had stolen her ideas and taken credit for her work. Consumed by a desire for revenge, she had secretly tampered with a critical component of the QDA.

Unbeknownst to Dr. Kane and the rest of the team, Emma's alterations caused a subtle malfunction deep within the system. At first, it was imperceptible, but as the experiment progressed, the signs of trouble became undeniable.

The QDA emitted erratic sparks of energy, and the quantum data streams on the screens started to flicker and distort. Dr. Kane furrowed his brow in concern, trying to diagnose the issue. His team members exchanged worried glances as they realized that something was terribly wrong.

Emma watched from the sidelines, a malicious smile concealed beneath a façade of anxiety. She pretended to be just as concerned as the others, offering suggestions and theories while concealing her true role in the malfunction.

As the malfunction escalated, the quantum energies in the chamber surged out of control. The room filled with blinding flashes of light, and alarms blared throughout the laboratory. Panic spread among the team members as they struggled to contain the chaos.

Amid the chaos, Dr. Kane remained determined to salvage the experiment. He made a risky decision, attempting to manually override the malfunctioning component. Emma watched in satisfaction as he exposed himself to the dangerous quantum energies.

In the end, Dr. Kane's heroic efforts averted a catastrophic disaster, but the experiment was a failure. He emerged from the ordeal physically unharmed but emotionally drained. The rest of the team had mixed feelings of relief and disappointment.

Unknown to everyone, Emma had achieved her revenge, tarnishing Dr. Kane's reputation and casting doubt on his competence. She had successfully manipulated the experiment to further her own agenda, but the consequences of her actions would soon catch up with her.

would this be a better one or the original will do.?
