However, before anyone could even start to feel it, he calmed himself down and dispersed it immediately.

" Yes, he's safe but due to a lack of resources, His Majesty had to recall all those you have sent to look after him," he replied. However, this response angered her a little, but she would definitely ask her father regarding this topic.

It was not known to the public but when Emilia was born, a revolt took place inside the Augustine empire. It was dangerous enough to potentially eliminate all those with royal blood.

Fearing that his worst imagination might come true, the emperor sent her to an orphanage to be adopted by a couple with infertility problems, who took pity on her fearing that her future might be dark. And they also wanted a child.

However, with time, he slowly started to forgive them when understanding they had no power to go against a whole empire. 

Just when he was about to apologize for his immaturity, fate once again played a joke on him.

His parents died in a sudden car crash when returning from work, which completely devastated him. And to deal with all his grief and frustration, he started to dwell in the world of fantasy.

This caused him to become distant from his peers due to his weird nature and become a prime target for the bullies to vent all their frustration. It was like destiny itself was using him for its weird fantasies.

Instead of giving up, he endured all the bullying and harassment, with the thought of changing his life in high school.

But fate once again fate found an opportunity to mess with him, like a stalker who watches you from every corner to trip you over.

Moving into high school, he again met with his former bullies. However, this time bullying started to get out of hand. And like every time he called them to the teachers, they denied his accusations due to the lack of evidence.

Not knowing anything holding him back, he was about to put an end to all his misery and misfortune under a Meteor shower on top of a mountain in hopes of seeing the universe's first act of kindness towards him.

However unannounced to him, his life was about to change very soon due to a rune having already chosen him to be its owner. That rune was The Rune of Heavenly Destiny.

Instantly he was snapped back to reality because of Jason's interference. 

"Boss! Hey Boss! You alright, you have been spacing out a lot." Jason said to him.

Seeing him nod in affirmation, Jason finally started to open up to him about what he thought about their current situation." Boss is it just me or did the team captain leave something out? I don't know why but I've been getting a bad feeling recently?"

[ So, he caught on to their situation too Huh!] he thought to himself.

" Get everyone ready, we'll be leaving before sunrise. Oh, and make sure no one else finds out about this," he said to him, officially confused Jason. 

" Boss, what do you mean? " Jason asked to clarify his confusion.

Sighing he replied " The soldiers are planning on leaving early tomorrow and they don't plan on taking anyone else along because their top priority is to safeguard Emilia. We are just liabilities for them."

Realizing the gravity of the situation, he started to feel hatred for the soldiers for abandoning them without a second thought.

Nodding in response both left to start their preparations.
