Rise Of The Outcasts

In a world where the supernatural hides from humanity behind a veil, mages control everything from the shadows, and monsters run rampant, Outcasts, beings rejected by both the human and supernatural worlds with the ability to nullify magic, stand alone as the last line of defense against the dark forces that threaten a world they no longer belong in. Constantine St. John, an average college student, has his life turned inside out when he awakens as an Outcast on his 21st birthday. Now, he has to navigate this new world that despises him and his kind. Together with his new allies, the assassin Kento Salvatore and the firebrand Jane Winchester, they undertake a perilous journey to Eden, the City of Origin, to take back control of their fate and, maybe, give the Outcasts a place to belong in.

Recovery

With the Jester defeated, the Outcasts returned to the Citadel, their expressions heavy with the weight of the recent battle. Damien and Marcus were immediately summoned to report to the Assembly. The grand hall of the Citadel buzzed with anticipation, the Elders seated in their high chairs, casting stern gazes at the returning heroes.

Damien and Marcus stood before the Assembly, the atmosphere tense.

Elder Nasri's voice broke the silence. "Explain the destruction on Crimson Row."

Marcus stepped forward. "The battle with the Jester was intense. He was a formidable opponent, well beyond what we expected. The collateral damage was unavoidable given the circumstances."

Elder Graves' eyes narrowed. "Collateral damage is one thing, but the entire district was nearly leveled. How do you justify this?"
