CHAPTER 35: The battle Of WaterFold

Kean's black silky hair which lengthened to his shoulders was tied into a small bun, It was always difficult to concentrate when it would occasionally fly over his face, that's the reason he chose to tie it.

Kean was quite handsome but he always chose hairstyles which coverd most of his face, it resulting in his very attractive face going unnoticed by many.

Aeverie was not only stunned by the full view picture of his face, Kean's body now possessed visible muscles. Despite that it was only three weeks, the way Kean trained it made the toned up body apparent in a short time.

The black sweater he was wearing displayed all those qualities perfectly.

Aeverie smiled and hugged me tightly. "I'm so glad you are back."

I gave her a gentle squeeze in return.

"While you are catching up on your little reunion I will be making myself some tea." Fodel strolled towards the kitchen.

She swiftly made a way out of the kitchen as her ears caught Aeverie's beaming voice, she already knew the reason behind Aeverie's excitement.

"Kean!" Layla babbled with so much joy that she couldn't even control the tears from flowing.

Pulling away from Aeverie I caught the blissful Layla who threw herself at my embrace.

"Do you know how much I missed you." Layla's sweet gentle voice made me want to hold her tight and never let go.

"I really missed you too."

We parted but my hand was still wrapped around her alluring lithe waist, I gently stroked her delicate face while staring intently at her glossy eyes.

"Don't cry I'm here now." I spoke while wiping her tears.

"This is all your fault for making like this."

She slowly closed her eyes anticipating a kiss.

"Ahem! Ohh sorry I have a sore throat." Aeverie intarupted while rubbing the front of her neck.

"Actually they is something that both of you need to know."

After gesturing them to sit on the couch I told them my whole plan.

"I didn't think such a place existed in this world but if it's legit you will develop at an outstanding speed." Aeverie affirmed.

"That means you will be away again." Layla whined.

Fodel sat on single sofa while sipping his tea.

"When I'm done drinking my tea we are living, I hope you are done packing whatever you are taking."

"What? He just got here and you plan on leaving already." Layla immediately complained, her brows knitted in a frown.

"This is my last sip, we are leaving."

Fodel straightened up his back as he walked out of the room, I was tongue tied for a moment.

"Come on old man today was supposed to be my rest day."

Fodel lightly chuckled. "There is no such thing as rest, every second counts."

We continued bickering about the matter, regardless of what Fodel said Layla and Aeverie stood firm on their resolve of spending the day with me.

"Fine then, I will also tag along in this training camp."

"Young lady, you won't survive even for a minute in my training."

"That is the sad truth." I added.

"It's settled then we will also go along even if we won't train with you."

Fodel sighed as Layla and Aeverie strolled to their rooms to pack their stuff. I stored some of the things we had in my system inventory and some was taken by Aeverie, she had a relic ring which allowed her to store anything inside. The ring was limited to how many things you can store inside.

During my training I finally unlocked a new feature which is a shop function that allows me to buy anything in exchange for credits. My stats where the evidence of my hard work, this is how my power increased due to the intense training.

Level : 7

Strength : 41 (25 +16)

Agility : 37 (30 + 7)

Stamina : 45 (27 + 18)

Constitution : 41 (38 + 3)

Intelligence : 45 (40 + 5)

Mana : 45/45

I wonder how strong I will get if I'm to train for months.

We stood at the riverside near the waterfal. Fodel took a few step away from us and offered a hand to Layla and Aeverie.

Layla walked to him and took it while Aeverie shook his head.

"No need I can make it on my own." Aeverie denied his help.

"If you had some kind of trick to travel deep underwater without any dire straits I will gladly take her place."

"Take this as your training boy."

"You are kidding right? This time I might actually drown to death."

Large mass of air started circulating around Fodel and Layla creating a spherical shape, the wind circulated with such great speed that everything close by was pushed back including the water, after a short while we couldn't even see anything inside the ball of wind. The ball of wind rose from the ground, it floated and slowly descended inside the water, at the same time a violent tornado occurred as the sphere sank deep inside the water.

"Place your hand on top of mine."

Aeverie pulled me back from whatever daze I was in, I did as she said and a feint green glow radiated in my body before vanishing.

"I placed a spell on your body which allows you to breath underwater for a minute and it slightly increases your perception when swimming."

"Thanks, you saved me a lot of trouble."

A tiny smile appeared before she swiftly ran and jumped high, higher than any human could reach, I watched in awe as she gracefully twisted her body and instantly dived inside the water.

Not wanting to drag behind I hastily followed her.

Exhilarated by the new experience I began moving my arms as I dived deeper, I could breathe underwater as if it where normal and of course I can clearly see everything with my heightened sight.

"Someone is trying to reach out using telepathy, should I allow or block?" The system inquired

'It's probably probably Aeverie, allow.'

'Can you go a little faster.' Aeverie's voice chimed in my head.

'This is the fastest as I can swim.'

Aeverie approached me from the side and clasped my hand. She said 'hold on tight' and dived deep down with so much intensity that I felt as if some force was pulling her. I held her hand firmly as the speed kept increasing when she descended.

'What's going on.' I asked through telepathy

'Don't worry it's an enchantment.'

'Enchantment?'

'It's an enchanted necklace that allows the user to travel in water with great speed that can only be achieved by mermaids.'

The temperature decreased drastically as we kept moving downwards. She slowed down as we entered some sort of cave like place.

Aeverie and I started moving forward as we explored the underground cave. Reaching some sort of tunnel we moved upwards until.

'I can't breathe anymore, looks like the spell has reached it's limit.'

Aeverie instantly turned around, cupping my cheeks we kissed as she blew air in my mouth .

Taking my hands she wrapped them around her waist. 'Hold on tighter.' She telepathically spoke before hugging me tightly as she continued ascending upwards but this time with a lot force that in seconds we reached where the narrow passage ended.

We suddenly felt great pressure of water pushing us back.

After using analysis on the force that was slowing us down, based on the information that I got it was Fodel's wind spell.

Aeverie accelerated around the force and in that instance vibrant glow shone on us as we where about to reach the surface.

Slowing down we busted out of the water gasping for air.

Whirlpool manifested on the water followed by huge wind which circulated in a spherical form, the wind slowly disappeared when it settled on the ground and revealed Fodel and Layla.

Fodel was sent in astonishment as she sighted us.

"How did you get here this fast." He inquired.

"I guess the insane training payed off." I smirked.

Fodel knew Aeverie had something to do with this.

My ears picked up faint footsteps approaching somewhere. Aeverie and Fodel wore relaxed expressions as always but their hyper senses already made them aware of every danger.

"There are two draugrs guarding that passageway." Aeverie addressed

"You kids have some fun I will sit this one out."

"I will also be at the back since I'm only a healer."

The two level 5 draugr growled and lumbered towards us, Aeverie approached the one on the left which was an Ice mage while I instantly bolted towards the warrior class.

The draugr took a step forward and raised the two handed sword, I swiftly punched it on the chest before it could strike. My fist sent it flying high in the air before it crashed on the ground. Not wasting any time I instantly casted Lightning burst.

The draugr roared in agony as a continuously stream of lightning kept inflicting damaging in it's body.

The blue-ish glow that kept flickering electric sparks on my hands caught the attention of Fodel.

While on Aeverie's side the draugr lifted it's staff and large ice sparks came flying towards her. She kept walking with an impressive face as all the ice spikes ceased in the air.

Visiple purple glint illuminated in her eyes and the ice spikes bolted towards the dragr impaling every part of it's body and tearing it to shreds at the process.

Layla shuddered when she witnessed the destructive force of this broken duo but what scared her the most was the person able to kill such a creature in an instant without even lifting a finger.
