Chapter 7 - Vincent Kompany

Since, the matter related to the position of the Head Coach has finished. Felix also decided to continue with the signings of new players for the club.

The very next day,Felix went straight in the Training grounds of the first team of Hamburger SV.

For Felix, signing this player is very very important. As long as this player comes, everything will be alright.

For the Captain of the team, Felix has decided to sign Vincent Kompany, one of the best Centre Backs in the world in the future.

- Kompany is recognised to be an intelligent and physically strong centre-back, with excellent aerial ability, mobility, and leadership qualities, as well as good technique and distribution.

He is also a very accurate tackler, with strong positional sense who excels at reading the game and anticipating his opponents.

Felix knows that in the future Kompany is that one player who can bring instant changes in the team. Felix knows many good defenders but Kompany is like the Commander of them.

Perhaps many fans think that Kompany's strength is somewhat weak if compared to the defenders of his Era such as Sergio Ramos or Pique but Felix believes that every player have his own strength and some weaknesses that cannot be avoided.

The reason Felix choose Kompany is not only because the other top players have already established themselves currently in known club's but because Kompany is undoubtedly going to become the best Captain and defender of the Premier League in the future and if Felix can currently sign him in the club, So why not?

This is a 22-year-old captain.

Although compared to the other three players, Felix signed, the chances of successfully signing Kompany is not high, but there is at least some hope.

And as long as there is a little hope, Felix will not give up, so he came to the club of Hamburger SV.

Felix had already sent a fax for a quotation of £6 million pounds for Vincent Kompany.

So, to convince him more deeply, Felix contacted Kompany's agent, Roy.

"Listen Mr. Felix, I think this is really a ridiculous thing to even discuss about. My player will not go to a 3rd Tier league team. He is doing well in the Hamburgers. He is also the Vice-captain here. He loves to play here and By chance even if he decide to leave, Vincent will only go to the Giants because he has that strength!"

After Felix expressed his intentions, Roy's expression were full of surprises. In his view, this was simply a lost deal.

He didn't knew that Felix's offer has successfully moved the hearts of Hamburger SV.

Felix shrugged after hearing to Roy's answer.

"I don't think this is a ridiculous matter. Although Notts County is only a 3rd Tier team now, but I'm sure it will be a member of the Premier League two years later." David said with a calm face which made him look very confident.

"How much annual salary can Kompany get in Hamburger SV? £300 K? £500 K? If Kompany agrees to sign with us, then Notts County can directly give an annual salary of £1 million pounds. You know, this is already the salary level of the main players of other major teams. "" Felix didn't wanted to talk with Roy for long so he decided to take out the benefits directly.

"I didn't went directly to Kompany because I felt that talking about money with such enthusiastic player is not respectful, but I believe that the salary given by Notts County is very sincere. Felix picked the wine glass. took a soft sip and continue to say: "I also know that Kompany has his own career plans, you will also help him grasp them within all your power, but I don't think it is a mistake to sign for Notts County."

"But Mr. Felix you have to understand that the 3rd Tier games does not have any appeal to my player!" Roy interrupted Felix's words and said honestly.
