Training/Exploring

"Can we sit down for a moment so I can tell what I want to tell?"

Vala smiles, and invites Zack to sit. She also invites Ivar to sit at her side so she can tie Ivar's hair.

"So what I want to say is the village gets attacked by monsters."

She seems to be deeply affected by what Zack is saying, and she asks if no one was able to stop the dragon and the monsters.

"There was one... A man he pierced through the dragon skin like it's a paper."

Vala's eyes flash with surprise and she gasps.

She asks how the man was able to pierce through the dragon's body like that, as she can't believe that it is even possible.

"And what's more surprising is the man didn't even use any magic."

Vala is astonished by this discovery.

it seems like she might be more interested in the man that killed the dragon than the dragon itself.

Vala then asks whether any other people had seen the man who managed to kill the dragon.

"No one has seen the man, even the guildmaster doesn't know who the man is."

Vala seems to be surprised by this, and says that she did not know that someone was capable of killing a dragon by themselves.

Vala says that dragons are commonly considered to be one of the most difficult monsters to kill, and even a couple adventurers usually struggle against a dragon.

She then asks what kind of abilities he used to kill the dragon.

"Nothing, I didn't feel any magic coursing through him, it's like he pierced the dragon scales with his bare hands."

Vala is flabbergasted by this, and says that it is almost impossible to kill a dragon without magic.

"Are you sure he didn't use any magic?"

"Yes... I'm pretty sure that he didn't use any magic."

She then says that the only explanation she has is that the man might be in possession of something that is greatly empowering him.

Vala then asks whether he seemed to be carrying anything or if anything dropped when he disappeared.

She also says that there must have been something that dropped, as it does not make sense for a dragon to just die without any explanation or cause.

Vala then asks what sort of monsters were also attacking the village at the time of the dragon attack.

"Orcs, Wolves, Boar, and many more."

"I see... does the adventurers defend the village." She says, her voice is trembling and instead of tying Ivar's hair, she is pressing her hand on Ivar's head.

"D*mn it! Vala my head don't crack it!" Ivar shouts.

"Oh sorry!"

Ivar stands up, he is about to leave the house holding a cigarette.

"You're going to smoke again? you know that it's bad on our body."

"I know just this once please."

"Alright go on then." Vala said. Ivar leave the house.

"Anyway, Zack did you see anything that dropped?"

"No, nothing."

"Nothing?" Vala seems to be in disbelief.

Vala says that the man must have been carrying a magical item that was empowering him.

"Yes nothing, after the man killed the dragon he disappeared into thin air."

Vala takes a moment to think, and nods her head in understanding.

The look in her eyes seems to be one of pure disbelief. She asks how it's possible for someone to disappear like that into thin air.

They talked a lot more about the man but they didn't find out anything.

After a while, Zack remembers something and asks Vala if she can train Akari.

"Akari? who's Akari?"

"My companion, come she's outside your house."

They leave the house and saw Akari and Ivar fighting. They're not using any weapons it's just a hand to hand combat. Zack can see that Akari is struggling.

Ivar is not attacking Akari, he's just defending himself from the attack.

"Hey! Akari!" Zack shouts.

Akari and Ivar stops the fight, they head over to Zack and Vala. Akari asks why Zack called her.

"Do you want to learn how to control your magic right?"

"Yes, they said that I have a large amount of mana but I can't control it."

"Then It's your lucky day because Vala is going to teach you."

Akari looks excited and ready to learn anything just to control her magic.

She then asks Vala if it's true.

"Yes I will teach you."

Akari looks happy, they can see that Akari is excited because her tail is wagging so fast. They head to a flat surface and Vala says to Akari to try using magic.

Vala says to Akari that she did not need to worry because no one will get hurt, Akari then starts casting magic, a large water ball comes out of her hand and launches directly at Ivar.

"Wait why is it heading in my direction?!" Ivar said, he barely manages to dodge the water ball.

"Hey why are you attacking me?!"

"Sorry! I did not mean to attack you." Akari said, the she starts casting another magic.

"Focus Akari! focus your magic!" Vala shouts.

Akari cast another magic and it launched directly at Ivar again.

"The hell?! stop launching magic at me, think of Vala as your enemy!"

"Huh? think of Vala as my enemy, alright let me try it."

Akari starts casting magic while thinking that Vala is her enemy. The water ball launches directly at Vala.

Vala then casts a magic shield around her to protect herself. Akari launches another magic and Vala keeps her magic shield. They've been doing it for a few hours and Zack starts to get bored.

"This is boring." Zack said, he asks Ivar if there is something to do here.

"Hmm... Come with me."

Ivar walks and Zack is following him, they walk around the kingdom, there are many shops here, they stop at a bakery shop and Ivar brought some bread. He asks Zack if he wants some bread.

"Sure, I haven't eaten since we arrived here."

He accepts the bread and starts eating it, the bread is delicious and tastes like milk. While walking they come across an alley, there's a carriage and there is a cage on top of it. There's a girl inside the cage, she has pointy ears, and looks beautiful too.

"Why is there a girl inside the cage?" He asked Ivar.

"Oh that... that's a slave merchant and the girl inside the cage is a slave, it's normal in the kingdom."
