"Urgh… Where am I? Why does my head hurt so much?" Jhonny groaned, as he woke from his state of unconsciousness.

His eyes fluttered open as the lights of the cockpit slowly flashed around him.

They were dim, making them not too aggressive in Jhonny's still-reeling mind as he sat up.

"The cockpit? Why am I asleep on the cockpit floor?" he muttered.

A pang of pain seized his brain as a memory resurfaced. The cacophony of strident notes and vibrating basses in his brain made him clutch his head again as he cried out in pain.

That was when Laani noticed one of her charges had finally awakened. She pulled back from the ship's computers, leaving her defences in place, as she migrated to the cockpit's command node.

"Jhonny! Finally, someone's awake! You need to see this!" she exclaimed, her face clearly jovial.

"What do you, finally?" Jhonny asked, confused.
