Self Wallow Shot Down
The following hours were hectic in the underground facility, as thinkers and singers alike suddenly went abuzz around the ship, doing all they could to accelerate its construction.
A new escort was tasked with keeping Sarah and Jhonny safe, while the rest of the facility crawled with activity. Jhonny took a few minutes to ensure his rifle was reassembled and in working condition.
Of course, seeing him fire the laser rifle, even on its weakest setting, at the wall of their current room, set their guards off, making them suddenly so aggressive.
It took Jhonny ten minutes to defuse the situation, as he explained he was only test-firing the weapon and assured them he had no intention of harming them or any other Mens'ave with it.
They were eventually convinced, and left him to his things again, but kept a trained eye on each of his movements.
