Entering the Mystic Elixirs Store, Long Chen was greeted by a dazzling array of herbs, vials, and mysterious concoctions. Shelves lined with bottles of varying shapes and sizes contained pills of all colours and effects. The air was thick with the scent of rare herbs and alchemical ingredients, creating an atmosphere that felt almost otherworldly.
Long Chen approached the counter, where a middle-aged woman with a knowing smile stood. She wore robes adorned with intricate alchemical symbols, a testament to her expertise in the field.
"Welcome, esteemed cultivator," she said with a sight bow of respect. "How may I assist you today?"
Long Chen didn't waste any time. He knew exactly what he needed. "I'm looking for rare herbs and pills to enhance my cultivation, particularly those suitable for a sword cultivator."
The alchemist nodded in understanding. "Of course, we have a wide selection to choose from. Please, follow me."
With graceful steps, she led Long Chen through the store, explaining the properties and benefits of various herbs and pills along the way. "Here, we have the 'Serpent's Grace Root,' known for its ability to enhance agility and precision in swordplay. And this 'Dragon's Breath Blossom' can bolster your inner energy, crucial for sustaining powerful sword techniques."
Long Chen listened attentively, absorbing the knowledge like a sponge. "These herbs," she continued, "will complement your sword cultivation, allowing you to reach new heights."
After making his selections, Long Chen couldn't help but ask, "May I inquire about the price of these rare herbs and pills?"
The alchemist smiled kindly. "Of course. The 'Serpent's Grace Root' is 500 spirit stones, the 'Dragon's Breath Blossom' is 800 spirit stones, and the 'Celestial Sword Pill' is 1,200 spirit stones. In total, that would be 2,500 spirit stones."
Long Chen nodded and he passed her the marital market card. He couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. With the rare herbs and pills in his possession, he was one step closer to unlocking the full potential of his sword and awakening its dormant sword soul.
"Thank you for your patronage," the alchemist said with a courteous smile. "If you ever require more elixirs or have any alchemical inquiries, don't hesitate to return."
Long Chen nodded in gratitude and left the Mystic Elixirs Store, his heart filled with determination. He was ready to embark on a new chapter of his cultivation journey, one that would see him harness the power of the mesmerizing sword and its mysterious sword soul.
With the package securely tucked away, Long Chen headed back towards his residence, eager to study the sword's intricate patterns and delve deeper into the mysteries of the sword's soul.
The sun cast long shadows as he arrived home, and the room filled with the soft glow of candlelight as he carefully placed the package on a sturdy wooden table, his mind focused on the treasures within. The herbs and pills were his key to unlocking the dormant potential of his sword and its hidden sword soul.
With an air of determination, Long Chen began to examine the herbs and pills once more, taking note of their characteristics and potential uses for cultivation. He meticulously studied each item, understanding how they would complement his sword techniques and strengthen his inner energy.
"The 'Serpent's Grace Root' will indeed enhance my agility," Long Chen murmured to himself, "and the 'Dragon's Breath Blossom' will provide the inner energy I need for sustained power in my sword strikes."
The 'Celestial Sword Pill' held a particular fascination for him. Its name alone carried an aura of greatness. He carefully read the accompanying description, learning that it was known for aiding in the refinement of sword essence.
With the knowledge of how these rare herbs and pills could benefit his cultivation, Long Chen was more determined than ever to embark on his journey of self-improvement.
Sitting cross-legged, Long Chen arranged all the herbs and the sword on his bed.
He stood up and picked up the sword.
He infused a strand of qi in it which flowed within the mysterious pattern, and a bright light came out followed by a wave blast.
Long Chen was shocked by the wave " Good sword" He complimented and as if the sword understood him, it let out a humming sound.
"To become a good sword cultivator, I need to work on my flexibility, footwork, focus, good in finding my engine weakness, mental stability, a powerful strike, calculative in any fight, good timing and the final strike," Long Chen said to himself as he summons Flux Fire out.
"I am ready to cultivate with you now," Long Chen said with determination.
"Open your beast line," Long Chen said.
Flux Fire uses his head like a nest, and they both unleash their meridian. Flux Fire opened a mighty fire-shaped beast line and Long Chen's wheel of Transcendent came up.
"Reverse the elements and create my world" Long Chen muttered as the vessel connecting his meridian connected with the Flux Fire beast line.
The temperature of the room increased sharply and Long Chen felt a huge wave of heat. He burned to ashes as his skin turned red.
The reason why Long Chen did not intend to cultivate with Flux Fire at first to to increase the chances of him successfully bonding with him.
If he had behaved rashly and cultivated with him, he would have not been able to handle this much energy.
The devil sword 'Asura' gave out a bright glow as it absorbed the unused energy.
Long Chen and Flux Fire continued to cultivate as Long Chen's blazing eyes turned red. Pain flowed through every inch of his body threatening to tear him apart from the inside out but he struggled to resist and keep his focus steady.
He circulates the energy he absorbs to help reduce the pain.
